Hi Cam, I just wanted to share some helpful information. Rawhide chews are dangerous for dogs as they can cause blockages. Hopefully these do not contain rawhide but if they do I wanted you to know. There are some great homemade dog treat recipes on schnauzer websites. I just baked some peanut butter and pumpkin treats. Ruby and Gunner loved them 😊 Sending Levi and Lucky ❤
Thanks for the info. I just checked the ingredients, and it does mention beef rawhide and other ingredients including something called "poultry digest". This brand is recommended by the vet, so not sure why they would sell this if they knew of any cases of blockages. The boys don't get them often as their teeth get brushed often, the pieces are small, and there haven't been any issues. I will reach out to the vet and question them. Thanks again for sharing this. 🐾😍🐾
