Oh... Use beer instead they say !, slugs drink beer, hedgehogs eat slugs, Hedgehogs get pissed and ran over :)

try using bakers or brewers yeast mixed with water instead of slug pellets .. slugs are attracted to yeast (works like beer ... but cheaper)
I think honey bees are to. We definitely can't kill them.

I cant drink, and really resent the beer thing, so expensive with no reward. Also , the big yellow monsters crawled out, pissed, in the morning.

Fine but you have to buy the pellets right? Yeast water and sugar works well also. after you use one can of beer you get o finish the rest with your buds.... But I love this trap I am going to make one or two because it is the most efficient. Thank you great job.

On another video, they said you could just throw the dead slugs back into the garden - they will eventually decompose.
Mind you they used yeast, flour and sugar mixture and not pellets

PLEASE DO NOT USE SLUG PELLETS IN ANY SHAPE OR FORM! Birds and animals then eat the slugs and are also poisoned! Hedgehogs are already in danger, they don’t need people using slug pellets to kill them too please. This bottle idea will also work with beer and if you put a cover over it it won’t fill with rain! I’m sorry to put a negative downer on your video.
Absolutely true but as this video was posted 6 years ago pellets were ok to use then.
