    These are great servos. There's a blue DS3235 as well which is even stronger.

      There are a ton of blue and red ones, and many, many new releases. All of them do fine, at least for crawlers and trail trucks. Love those. However, did make bad experience with cheap servos for my CP helis. So buying the expensive brand stuff for my helis, but the cheap servos for the trucks. If a servo stops to work properly in a truck, it is not that bad (and expensive) as it is in a heli. Talking about those "China servos" here: www.rockcrawler.de/thread/41382-neue-china-servos-mit-vielversprechenden-daten-und-billigen-preisen-war-dsservo/

    I have this in a 3s SC truck and these servos are outrageously fast both on 6 and 7.4v. It seems strong and reliable but I haven't tried it in the wet yet
    However mine won't find centre at times, and will get stuck both left and right. I am using my own plastic servo horn which could be slipping, but this didn't happen with a different servo I used before

      Feel, sometimes (rarely) mine also does not find the exact center position. But when turning the steering again, it works. Not a big deal in a scale crawler, but for a racer this could be a problem.
      Also did not try it wet so far.
      I paid ca. 12 €, so I won't complain. It is what it is, a cheap China servo. Awsome value for the money, but no high end servo for sure.
      Watch out, I will do a test of more than 10 cheap China servos soon and publish a video (probably end of May).

    Specs say this servo will lift/stall 25kg at 1cm at 6.8v. Looking at your test I would say you are testing at 2.5cm away from the center of the servo output shaft therefore it should lift/stall at 10kg.

    • @donaldsneffe
      @donaldsneffe  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The results seem to be quite ok, not 25 kg but ca. 17.
      I am happy so far with this servo, nobody expects much from those China servo.
      I will make a further test, including this servo and more than 10 further China servos soon. Check out the channel, video should be up in some weeks.

      Not really, the "standard size" servo motor of standard servos... (like N30 gearmotors?).
