both are cool watches, but the ae1200 is the one for me, very iconic, very functional, the dbc might not seem that attractive long-term, but the royale would be forever classic
What's the difference between ae1200whd-1a vs ae1200whd-1avdf(d099) ? They both look same but former one's price is higher and later one's price is lower comparatively..
original casio watches come with official warranty, so you could register your watch serial number on online warranty portal; other than that official website and outlets means the watch is authentic

I personally like the ae1200 more...it has world time, and 100m water resistance. But most importantly, it is a very iconic watch... but if availability is a concern, u could go with the other one too.
Casio has manufacturing facilities in Japan, China and Thailand. Depending on which product you’re buying and in which country, you can get a ’Made in China’ watch. Quality are the same.

I would recommend contacting any Casio retailers near your area (you can search their contacts on Google) and asking if they have it in stock. Hey Sir, just confirmed, only the band/strap is stainless steel, the case material is resin with a metallic colored coating. As a result, it is very lightweight compared to a stainless steel case, but maybe not as durable. This is the same case material as in D097, so would say if you prefer the metallic look, you can go for D099.
