ThatDudeinBlue I went into this video knowing that David was going to get RPF1’s. Also how ironic I am running BF Goodrich Sport Comp All Seasons on my 2002 DC5 RSX-S. Even those are super grippy so you are going to love these David! Keep up the good work and videos!!! Loving the Integra content!
Ive seen way worse, i'm a technician at Toyota and ive seen pensioners who barely drive their car have the same tires since the car was new 20 years ago.
Evan Hajder 340 TW is relatively low. The normal autox tires for the street and street touring autox is 200 TW. All seasons are like 500 TW. And tread wear is pretty arbitrary anyways since it is not standardized between manufacturers.
I super agree with you on the JDM front end, for my Integra swaping front ends is on the end of my build list, much rather spend the money towards other things for the car.
The ending on this video was so jarring: I totally went: It’s over already?! 100% right on wheels making or breaking a car. I remember putting Peugeot 205 1.9 GTI wheels on my Peugeot back in the day. It turned the boring car into a sporty looking one overnight!
I literally just bought RPF1’s (17x8 45mm offset) with sumitomo htr z 3’s for my 02 Altima SE earlier last week. Put them on this Tuesday and they’re gorgeous 😍
For anybody starting to mod their car: 1. low 2. wheels Not the ither way around. A low car with stock wheels looks good. A way too high car with nice wheels looks like ass.
the wtrspn Disagree. Most if not all cars look good with better wheels, even on stock ride height.Lowered ride height just makes it even better.Besides, coilovers or lowering springs costs much more than wheels and tires. What car has a ridiculous high stock ride height anyway?
DavisSgt I agree with you but lowering springs are pretty cheap especially compared to wheels, tires, and coilovers. Personally I don't like lowering springs because you can't adjust anything about them and if you don't get aftermarket shocks and struts they will blow the stock ones quicker than normal. And if you do get aftermarket shocks and struts with lowering springs at that point you might as well get coils cause it's about the same price as all that and will be so much better
I mean i get the point that stock car dont have ridiculous ride hights but i mean if you have a stock golf for example and out 19inch wheel on it it wont look good at all but a lowered golf with stock 17inch wheels looks rather good
the wtrspn That is something I really agree.Biggers wheel sizes, unless for bigger brakes or to tune the final drive ratio,is something unappealing in my eyes. What I mean was just changing the same size wheel to something that is lighter, looks better and probably fit wider tyres. So much more rotational mass, less clearance overall, conflicting with speedometer reading and overall less comfort with having lower profile tyres on bigger wheels are a no for me
I love how i just got back from my mechanic's shop after getting tires mounted and balanced on my car and i see this video pop up. Edit: AND THEY ARE THE EXACT SAME BF GOODRICHES AS WELL. (well, except i have 215/55 r17's for my 3.5 5 speed altima)
Hey David I’m about to buy an integra and will be fixing it up as well! 189k with jdm b20 with 60k miles. Super clean inside and out I don’t even know how 🤣 for a whopping $2500 🤪
Those are excellent tires. I have Super Sports on my Rx7 and I had those on my last Miata and those felt about as grippy (on the street) as the Supersports but a little stiffer sidewall.
Hey David your'e an inspiration to me man, I really love the attitude that you bring to all of your videos and I love the Integra, Much love and respect
For the JDM front you have to have the jdm fenders and hood as well. Youre looking at 2500-3000 total. David, do the Euro spec typeR front bumper with the lip and fog lights, as well as the rear bumper fog light. That would look sick buddy!
Not a lot of big brake kits work with 16" wheels on Integras. Especially RPF1s, think due not the offset. I'd look into Wilwood if you want to change the caliper. You could also check Rock Auto for reman ITR calipers, rotors and pads for an ITR, throw stainless steel brake lines and higher boiling point brake fluid and that would be a decent upgrade and stay true to the budget build versus going bbk. The lines and pads will help the most. You'll be surprised how much better ITR brakes are vs LS ones are (I have LS, GSR and a ITR).
Liked for the commando reference. All time favorite Arnold movie hands down. Also great content. I know you’re in VA, wish you’d come down to the peninsula for some of the meets.
Not needed. Honda know what they are doing. They Type R was only 195 and still handled great with good rubber. I heavily modded my Type R and never felt the need to go bigger or wider tyres.
He could’ve gotten 215/45r16s although I’m sure the selection isn’t as good. That size would keep his OD right, and on top of that, some ITRs came with that size, but hey, Honda boys never let math stop them from running tiny tires
I see what you mean when you say wheels and tires can make or break your car. Today at AutoZone we had a Mitsubishi Galant come in with a matte black paint finish (you can tell it was done at home because it had some runs in it) and it had these sexy looking black and silver rims on there, I think they were 17"s or 18"s and man did they look good or what. I didn't know the brand, but again, beautiful looking rims.
also the jdm front comes with two fenders, hood, bumper and headlights. Also an entire piece of metal of the frame that has to be welded on. So not just the bumper and headlights ( 5:52 )
Rpf1's are common... ON TH-cam!! I rarely ever see them in person. Some of you guys are acting like every other car on the road has Rpf1's. They look great David!
I would have coated or done some sort of wheel coating in the inside of the rims to help future proof easabilty of cleaning. I like your video style, you are likeable. Good job. 👍
“SO BASIC DAVID”
I had 17x9 rpf1’s on my Mazdaspeed 3 I loved them!
ThatDudeinBlue hey you should give me your stock wheels for my Civic
Sell me your old wheels for my 2nd gen Integra bro! What do you say ????😏👍👍👊✌
ThatDudeinBlue it would be incredible if you could do a Pimp My Ride reaction series you'd be the first car guy to do it
I’m parting out an integra. I’m in Gwinnett county. Got black interior conversion $60
unruly Racing hope David sees this
Bumpy boi
Bump
iPwnR idk if TH-cam works like a forum
You're close to where I live
Who the fuuuck has tyres that last 8 years?
Uber
I see it all the time here in Georgia
Ive seen way worse, i'm a technician at Toyota and ive seen pensioners who barely drive their car have the same tires since the car was new 20 years ago.
Me!
I certainly don't. More like 8 months.
I keep seeing you in that Garage and keep on thinking, you don't need a basement, just get rid of the frames and have a massive garage
I auto crossed with those BFGs in a 255/40-17 for a few years and they were great for having such a high tread wear
Evan Hajder 340 TW is relatively low. The normal autox tires for the street and street touring autox is 200 TW. All seasons are like 500 TW. And tread wear is pretty arbitrary anyways since it is not standardized between manufacturers.
Johnathan O'Donnell that’s what I meat should have said kind of high for a performance tire wasn’t really thinking of all seasons
Nothing better than waking up to Dave!
Isaiah_ isgod then ask him to marry you
Its weird you called him dave instead of david
RPF1’s Vs The World. Good choice David! 🏁
Wow what a difference. Rpf1’s look good on so many cars. Coming together nice 👌
I don't care how basic or unoriginal they are I LOVE RPF1s. A set of those are about 3rd in line on my list for my project ej1
Yeah I agree I love rpf1
I completely agree, when i got my first set of performance tires it completely changed my driving feel.
I super agree with you on the JDM front end, for my Integra swaping front ends is on the end of my build list, much rather spend the money towards other things for the car.

100% right on wheels making or breaking a car. I remember putting Peugeot 205 1.9 GTI wheels on my Peugeot back in the day. It turned the boring car into a sporty looking one overnight!
there a little more to a JDM integra swap then just head lights and bumper..... also hood and fenders.lol
Yessss!!! RPF1s are literally the best balance of looks, value and are incredibly light.
Well done David!
Wheels and suspension really do completely transform a car. Looks good David!
I’m really liking these more simple videos David’s been doing.
That bumper fits kinda janky should just fix the oem one. They’re extremely hard to find and it wasn’t that bad.
Justin Sayles yeah.. the original bumper was so much better despite having some defects.
you can trim it for a better fit. probably
A Build is when you have a plan, a project goes along with whatever happens along it's creation.
Im my opinion David is the best on TH-cam for cars! Seems like a great guy!
tire rack is about 10 minutes from me here in indiana theyre huge ware house! glad they helped you out they have always been a great company!
It amazes me how good that cleaner is there is a big difference you can clearly see it on the camera
I literally just bought RPF1’s (17x8 45mm offset) with sumitomo htr z 3’s for my 02 Altima SE earlier last week. Put them on this Tuesday and they’re gorgeous 😍

the wtrspn that's why you save enough so you can do both at once.
DavisSgt I agree with you but lowering springs are pretty cheap especially compared to wheels, tires, and coilovers. Agreed 1k for a bumper, headlights and fenders is a no go
Yessss one of the top guys building a Integra. Dope!
Best "Project" on TH-cam right now Cant wait to see the car in the future
The whole time I was thinking please be RPF1's. YES DAVID!
Thumbs ups because of the Camando refferance David 👍
Had rota gt3's on my teggy loved them. Glad you didn't go bigger than a 16. Can't wait to see more.
Those BFGS are the best tires I've had. Good classic choice
Back to the basics looks great David
ive been saying do the jdm front end for weeks and he finally answered why he didnt omguh omguh im fan girling rn even tho he isnt gonna do it😭🤯
TheTreeJrm give him a couple grand and he'll do it
David, thank you so much. I wasn’t familiar with the wheel rpf1 and now I’m in love with them
I love how i just got back from my mechanic's shop after getting tires mounted and balanced on my car and i see this video pop up.
Edit: AND THEY ARE THE EXACT SAME BF GOODRICHES AS WELL. (well, except i have 215/55 r17's for my 3.5 5 speed altima)
I think the glasses look good on you David, awesome video too, the BFG comp 2's are great tires they hook up well on my buddy's cobra
I bought those same BF Goodrich tires for my G35. They are GREAT tires.
exact same tires I have on my em2 and I love the fitment. looks wide, grips well, doesn't rub.
Theresa Oakes heard a miata turning into a parking spot and it was rub city. Sounded terrible.
+Derek A I think miatas have less clearance than my civic though.
Hey David I’m about to buy an integra and will be fixing it up as well! 189k with jdm b20 with 60k miles. Super clean inside and out I don’t even know how 🤣 for a whopping $2500 🤪
Good choice just bought mine yesterday.

Hey David your'e an inspiration to me man, I really love the attitude that you bring to all of your videos and I love the Integra, Much love and respect
Really can't go wrong with rpf1s, look good on just about anything and are a great value considering their weight and durability.
A 2000 acura integra was my first car. I have a 2016 mustang now but still miss my teggy 😀
Morning squad!!! Love the integra's new wheels.
Damn David almost breaking the camera smooth
Have to love teggys can't go wrong when it comes to these cars
I'm not a fan of everything you've done to the car so far. BUT... This wheel and tire combo is spot on. Congrats!
That’s what I put on my s2k but in black. But like you said you can’t go wrong with a good wheel.
good choice on the BFGs good tire for general driving, and some fun, have them on all my cars,
Welcome to the club 😂🤙🏼
oi m8
Commando! Yes I'm not the only person that likes that movie 😆
JDM front does look nice but I think that front with projectors+halos looks better. imo
That's brave. Doing a wheel and tire change in the rain.
One of my all time favorite wheels
For the JDM front you have to have the jdm fenders and hood as well. Youre looking at 2500-3000 total. David, do the Euro spec typeR front bumper with the lip and fog lights, as well as the rear bumper fog light. That would look sick buddy!
Those BFG’s are some of my favorite tires... along with the new firehawk indy 500 UHP
also factory RSX center caps will fit in those wheels. They look great in mine, but you have to pull the wheels back off to push them in all the way.
looking dapper in those frames bro. nice video man!
I can't wait to get my integra next month for my first project car.
I agree, wheels transform any car.
Looking good! Loving the Integra project bro
You can buy a whole front end here in Vegas. Front support, headlights, hood and everything you need for about $700
Not surprised haha you praise those in every car review that involves them :D
Car looks great with the RPF-1's David. Hope to see you and the car on HDay this year at MIR.
I used thoes sport comp 2's on my 300z. I loved thoes tires! Amazing grip.

David i love you forever!! The rpf1 are the best rim for an integra 💯🔥
Liked for the commando reference. All time favorite Arnold movie hands down. Also great content. I know you’re in VA, wish you’d come down to the peninsula for some of the meets.
Jon Garcia he moved to Georgia more than a year ago
RPF1s look soo good on anything
DOUBLE THE SHINE DUDE!
I have the same Comp2 tires on my Matrix. Excellent grip!
BASIC WHO CARES, one of the nicest wheels in the market. Got myself a set too! Can’t wait to mount them.
Nice choice on the wheels ! 👌🏼 can’t go wrong with rpf1’s 🔥
I like the quad head light integra better but I also think you look better with glasses 👍
Honda + RPF1 = Perfect Combo
Dude i was laughing my ass off with that Commando scene LOL
I feel like you could’ve went a little wider on the wheels
Jesus Rivera budget boi. Any tires past 205 or 15 inch get really costy
Not needed. Honda know what they are doing. They Type R was only 195 and still handled great with good rubber. I heavily modded my Type R and never felt the need to go bigger or wider tyres.

with the jdm front i have to change the whole front and the t section of the rad support , it’s worth the money believe me
David the glasses look good dude! I wear a brand called I.c. berlin, great stuff.
looks amazing David
The tire jizz looks like it really does work
Yuss you never go wrong with RPF1s on a Honda/Acura
Those tires are amazing.. Comp Sport 2 is the best
The blue Mustang is so sexy I like the fog lights behind the grill too
I see what you mean when you say wheels and tires can make or break your car. I didn't know the brand, but again, beautiful looking rims.
literally guessed in my head that he would pick these
I like the bubble eye from end more then the jdm front
The integra project is my fav
also the jdm front comes with two fenders, hood, bumper and headlights. Also an entire piece of metal of the frame that has to be welded on. So not just the bumper and headlights ( 5:52 )
*that dude in glasses*
lol
Called the wheels you got before I opened the video haha, they look great though !!
Rpf1's are common... ON TH-cam!! I rarely ever see them in person. Some of you guys are acting like every other car on the road has Rpf1's. They look great David!
Great choice on the wheels. It has a very time attack look to it now.
Hub-centric wheels always take a bashing before they come off. Usually just smack the tire with a breaker bar a few times
Tip for the the wheels don't wanna come off, thread one lug nut on acouple threads and then hit the rubber from behind
David the tires are directional. Make sure they’re on the right way because they’ll wear out faster and isn’t safe !!!!!!!!
david the dc2 jdm from end from jdm orlando has the whole front end for 500 to 700 bucks for genders hood lights bumper everything
Let me guess you’re gonna color it blue? I seen that you were doing a integra project! Sick, I gotta go back a few episodes.
I would have coated or done some sort of wheel coating in the inside of the rims to help future proof easabilty of cleaning. I like your video style, you are likeable. Good job. 👍
Its not just the front bumper and headlights man... your forgetting the hood & fenders so $1000 is spot on.
