I like the principle of “buy better.” That’s a pretty good idea when it comes to jack stands. I have the old school ones with the ramps and they’re a mess to get on. I wonder if these jacks can be placed in a safe spot in the undercarriage to lift the body while the wheels hang for things like suspension work.
@@OceanCity9080 these stands are a great investment. I've used them a few times since purchase. Email David for availability (info@etamfg.com). Let him know Mike (HiFiInsider on YT) sent you. He will take care of you. :)

Where to buy?
gotta be honest, cant do much suspension work if the car is still being supported on its wheels.
the car should be on wheels for final tightening of the suspension.
They are out of stock 😢
@@HiFiInsiderdo you happen to know if they will ever be in stock again??? I need these so badly an really don't want to make the wood ones

Dude just get a quick jack 😂…. Btw how do you plan on doing suspension work with the wheels constantly pre-loaded ????
Buy once cry once

$800 for four jackstands from china?
don’t have to buy four. most DIY would only need two at a time.
Tons of DIY ones on TH-cam that you can make from wood for almost nothing and fully adjustable.
@@Pro1er I've seen the wood stands. Those cannot be raised up so you'll need to have two different sets at different heights.
