I walked into a bookstore and couldn’t find anything good. I still wanted to leave with something so I gave Witch Hat Atelier a try simply because it looked pretty. Turns out that was the greatest decision of my life.
As a person with having a hard time reading and watching series, WHA never dissapointed me. It has a fantastic story, wonderful world, rich characters and a adoring artstyle and paneling!! As a cosplayer the way they show culture and class trough clothes make my heart melt ❤ The way they write and show how the society works makes it truley beliveble, 10/10 favorite manga of all time :D
Once, a great genre emerged. Favored for it's "escape from real world" storyline. It was called, Isekai. Many were released, and many people enjoyed them. But now, because of it's over-usage and bad writing. People grew tired, they wished for the legends of old. Thus came. Witch Hat Atelier and Sousou no Frieren. Legends said that many titles will follow behind them, and create a new era
Not all. Looks like 2 of the newest brimhats arent as bad as the ones that sbotaged tests. (Also f the guy that unleashed the leach demon) In a way brimhats are tragedy of injustice. No trail no nuance and victims and asalants are to be both punished just ironclad near unbending rules. One has to wonder how many are just on the run after a mistake/acident or whos fate was forced upon them by having someone else carve a spell on them.

Truly CRIMINALLY underrated. The only manga I have felt the desire to own the physical copies of.

Anime in 2023 most likely!
Not yet but in the recent chapters an adaptation has been announced in the making!!!
