Yeah the Adam v the bees shows how close Blake and Yang are. How Adam could tell Blake loved Yang. He remembered who she was but didn't remember Sun.
I don't think he's seen Sun again after the first time meeting him at Haven. Unless I'm forgetting something. Fully agree with your point, I just don't think we've had the opportunity to see if he remembers him or not.
@@ZaberFangAT Adam was spying on Blake and knew enough about Sun that he was her friend. Also after the next chapter it wont mater.
But that's also what they were going for in the scene. That Adam saw Yang as a challenger for Blake. Adam and Yang are very similar in some regards when it comes to semblance and hot headedness. Unlike Adam, Yang has leaned to calm down that she can charge without a plan. Adam has never really had that moment. Other then Ghira,Adam had no one who was pushing him to be a better person. Sienna pushed him more into hate and violence. When Ysng had a more people helping her do the tight thing. Maybe if Ghira hadn't stepped down maybe thing would have been different or if they stayed they could have been killed like Sienna in a bloddy coo

I've said it before and I've said it again: RWBY rightfully should have peaked in Volume 6. Were this any other show, V6 absolutely would have been the best it had to offer. Fortunately for us, though, this isn't any other show.
Totally agree, volume 7 and 8 are mind blowing in my opinion!

I love all the music for the Bumbleby v Adam fight, but most especially the moment when "Armed and Ready" comes in for Yang's BDH entrance. (Also the touch of "Nevermore" right at the end.)

I got so lost rewatching the awesome Yang vs Adam fight that I almost forgot to see you're reaction to it. My favorite thing is that they used old clips created by Monty to do this fight. Closest we'll ever get to seeing a Monty animated fight in the new animation style. RIP Monty.

I always loved this fight. I never knew that fact about it! That's so cool... And a bit sad.
I love the audio/visual style when he starts getting serious. It's one of my favourite action scenes
Starting with this volume and this fight in particular I noticed the fight choreography had improved quite a bit over the past two volumes. This was also the first and sadly only time we got to see Adam fighting to his full ability.
Watching this video means 14 minutes well spent.

If you pay close attention then you’d realize Blake was only half right…though diluted in ability and power. Adam was essentially the same as both girls. He had the after image ability of Blake due to intense training and speed, and the damage absorb/amp from Yang. One on one he could take almost anyone In the world. But 2 on one he never stood against chance against them.

1. If you notice on Adam’s eye it’s the logo for the Schnee Dust Company. So that means Adam when he was younger was branded a slave, and my guess is some of his friends who were also slaves might’ve been executed, for slacking off or just being of no more use and he was probably tortured a lot during that time too, explaining his intense animosity for mankind
2. A lot of fans say that Adam being rendered an abusive ex is terrible writing, but here’s the truth, it was all planned from the start by Rooster Teeth and probably by Monty too. So yeah suck it all you unsatisfied RWBY haters!

Or maybe the brand just means that young Adam mouthed off at a group of SDC jerks who overreacted and decided to teach him a nasty lesson. And then Adam decided that all humans were to blame for the actions of a few.
Not a slave brand I think, but a terrorist/criminal one I suspect.
The working conditions probably were abominal for the working class and especially faunus. Maybe racism caused they couldn't get decent jobs and had no power to advocate for better rights (as poor non faunus didn't support them).
This led to protest, uniting Faunus into the White Fang. Adam and other frustrated faunus then turned it into a more radical organization, stealing, sabotaging. In the Blake trailer he becomes a true terrorist, not caring about lives. Prefering to be feared over not being taken seriously at all.
Nah I doubt this version of Adam was planned from the start however Monty did say he changes things all the time so from all the mentor talk from Blake and Adam treating the fact that she left so offhandedly earlier in volume 3 could be before they decided his character
That was a good episode.
