I’ve deleted social media to help with the consuming addiction I have with my phone, but I feel like I want to do more to really get a grip on my life ..! If you're going to have full Android and all the apps anyway, then what is the point of a flip phone? How exactly is this supposed to stop your digital addiction, when it literally does everything your old phone did?

Why do people use foldable phones like this... ① With a foldable phone, there are buttons, so there is a distance between you and the screen. For me it's more about the content that is calling out to me. I got addicted to the internet as a teen on my Sony T310, which had a tiny screen and buttons.

hi mikan-san! i am the exact same feeling as you! i was sick of being addicted to my smartphone, and i have just ordered this phone from Japan to my country in australia, i had to use a middle forwarding service. i HOPE it works with my network in australia. I am visiting japan and maybe living there with my sickness still, in april or may, would love to meet up with you as you have a similar mindset to me about the phones and being a slave to the phone, i find it exhausting.
today at lunch i was talking to my friend across the table, he is on his phone not looking at me, and i am looking at him on his phone.... while we are eating lol
