playmo98 WoL isn’t from the first game. He’s a manikin just like chaos and cosmos. Prishe found him and brought him to cosmos and from there he was apart of her army. WoL is from world A but only because it is where cid and chaos were from in the beginning of it all. Which does take place in the world of the first game, but isn’t apart of the main plot of story of the first game. The only character who had anything to do with both games is garland, who named chaos.

J G Quite the opposite. The end of FF1 is the beginning of Dissidia. The character Cid from FF1 is the creator of the manikins in World A (the world of FF1), Chaos being the first perfect manikin with own will. From there they created Cosmos, and they’re all sent to World B (world of Dissidia). That’s when they make an agreement with Garland and Shinryuu to create cycles of battles summoning pawns to produce enough energy to return to World A. That’s when Cid created Warrior of Light then and to prove if he has the will necessary he sends him to Cosmos and he’s accepted as one of the warriors of the cycles. WoL is a manikin created from scratch in World B, that’s why he’s not Zest. It’s even rumored that he has the appearance of Cid and even his name since he created him inserting him his own memories.

I had a theory that before dissidia, Luneth and Ingus got their bodies switched since Onion Knight was close to the appearances of Ingus and had the personality of Luneth. ( Luneth is a rascal adventurer while Ingus was was a complete gentleman according to wiki) So technically Luneth was taken to the call of cosmos but in the body of Ingus.
