It’s carbon build up. Take it on the freeway and rave it up on a very high rpm for about 30 minutes. Couple time you should fix it. That’s what Mechanic told me at Lexus dealership and it actually fix mine.I went sport mode and pushed it on second and third gear
Not sure if you got it fixed but I saw something and this exact same thing happend to my car, same car as yours before you even touch the push start hold the VSC button and while holding the VSC button, push the push start twice so it's on the car is in the on position then start the vehicle all while holding the VSC the whole time until it starts
I have the same problem and I checked it out yesterday it was the oxygen sensor and the abs relay and today I don’t see the check engine light but I have an inspection coming so I plan on changing them before it

I just tried cleaning my mass air flow sensor yesterday and lights are still on. Also changed spark plug in bank 1 cylinder 1. An O2 sensor issue would show up on diagnostics and give the location of which sensor is bad so it can’t be that. My code is P0420 catalytic system efficiency below threshold bank 1. I’ve done the nearly all the gas cap tricks too, except replacing it because it is in really good condition. No luck there. Car runs super smooth with a ton of pick up so 🤷🏼♀️
Not saying this is going to everyone’s issue. But I had the exact same lights. Car wasn’t starting. first I put one new terminals. Fixed the issue for about 3 days Then it was my starter. If your starter sounds whiney replace it asap it’s not a easy job.

Dude you came in clutch that same thing just happened yesterday when I got a jump cus my battery died, the check engine for a knock sensor and the traction icon came on. I let the car sit for an hour and the check engine light disappeared
@@Jojo-en6mu ended up being the alternator had not charge my battery, I would have tough steering feel, traction light would be on, check engine for a cam shaft sensor going out. Ended up replace the dam thing and now it’s all good no issue.
Hi Kaylee… do what Hernandez said to do. The message that was left, right on top of yours…. I just did that and the lights turned off. Hold the VSC button then push the start button once while still holding the VSC button… then push the brake and start the car like you would normally would, while still holding the VSC button. When it starts then release it.. the lights should turn off👍🏿
I have a Lexus es300. I took my car to a mechanic and after he left the code reader on for about 10 minutes, the vsc and traction off light turned on and hasn't turned back off. I've already replaced my battery since it happened and have tried pushing and holding the traction button and it won't turn back on. Any idea why that might've happened literally after disconnecting the code reader. I ended up leaving that shop and never went back because the guy was already being pretty sketchy

REAL LATE ANSWER , BUT BANK1 IS WHERE EVER THE CYLINDER NUMBER 1 IS LOCATED , THAT SIDE OF EXHAUST SYSTEM CONTAINING THE CATALYST CONVERTER , BELOW THRESHOLD MEANS ITS WORKING LESS EFFICENT THAN IT IS SUPPOSED TO. TEMP CHECK THE CAT CONVERTER INLET TEMP AND OUTLET TEMP WHILE VEHICLE IS IDLE AND ENGINE AT NORMAL OPERATING TEMP, CHECK WITH LASER GUIDE TYPE THERMOSENSOR TOOL, INLET SHOULD BE ROUGHLY 3-400 DEGREE F, AND OUTLET ABOUT HALF OF THE FRONT reading you got, if this is true replace upstream and downstream oxygen sensors first but if you have 200k miles or more its likely time to replace converters, ive used walker universal fit requires cut and welding but work great and amazon had them for $85 each so just throwingit out there....

just did this a few mins ago also unhooked every sensor under the hood (they all look brand new) and blew them out plugged them back in hooked the battery back up and it is now gone. i’m assuming it’ll come back on but i just got it and have been driving it without it on just came on today after getting some decent rain and even a good amount of hail

@@erickarch6622 all we did is take off the negative on the battery for like 2 minites and reset the code but it just takes off tracktion control and everything the lights but i think what you need to do is change one thing and thats just getting guy to put in that computer to set the code back and it will go off for good but if it stays on its ususally a gas cap for the car you hafto make sure that its closed and you click it if it stays on change the gas cap for the car

I have this exact issue… 2008 Lexus IS 250 2.5L V6 Petrol (4GR-FSE) Dash errors = Exclamation Mark in triangle, check engine icon, traction control error icon, text “CHECK VSC” Diagnostic Error code = P2004 Intake manifold Runner control stuck open bank 1 I just had this issue fixed by a garage so here’s what needs to be done the same error messages and icons on the dash. Its a really common issue and the main cause of the P2004 Error. Basically the motor cog has come off on the actuator for that rail of the intake manifold. The fix is take the plastic top off the manifold (luckily, the metal bottom of the manifold does not have to come off, so therefore no gaskets are getting interfered with just O-rings). Motor actuating the rail for that side of the manifold needs to be taken off and taken apart. There is is a small cog which engages with the rail of the actuator that works its way off in time and just falls off. Apparently the fix is take the motor apart put the cog back on and secure the nut better with some decent Loctite, and that’s it.

Maybe in the short term but walnut blasting really helps. I did that to my 250 and clear all my engine problems for the long term

A bad TPS sensor is causing the VSC check engine light on, I cleared the code with the OBD2 scanner, it's working if you do it right the first time.

Mine works by just unhooking the positive side of battery for just about 5 minutes and it works.

sensors were swapped around, but the error stayed on the same side. All wires seem to be intact.

That's going to be the sensor that goes to your intake the harness is probably wore out or it's the Sensor

I did seafoam and it still didn’t clear. So im trying to manually clear it sometime this week
