Dave’s back -the perfect circle is complete! Best Alt Rock band ever!!!!! One of the top hard rock bands ever right next to Zeppelin, Sabbath, Queen etc …..this is the best thing. Enjoy it man. Can’t wait to see this in LA.
Victoire Victoire ❤❤❤ pour nous solo magnifique Dave . Le plaisir d'un groupe très talentueux . Un son saturé parfait 👍👍 un peu Simple Minds mais différent quand même 😂😂
@@pattonPwr that’s true. He is the one that brings that monolithic, heavy, tribal style energy to the band. Him and Perk are a really special rhythm section.
The best thing to happen in years man!!! I remember as a kid in 1990 being at vista point in San Fran by the GG deep in a night of heavy drinking and Billy Messer put this F’G record on the boom box and I was like WHAT the FUCK is this -it was like we were flying. Saw them that Dec at SF Civic and it was pure alchemy. There is nothing like these 4 guys doing what they do. They are the best 4 piece after Zeppelin IMO. They were so on fire they burnt out -to see this comeback and have it this be this good is a gift!!!! Fuck yes!
The talent and creativity they possess is just amazing. Have loved this band for over 35 years. So thrilled to see the original 4 together again and still absolutely killing it live!
I really love this song, it's inspired me for so much of my life, I also love that it shares part of its chord progression with another one of my favourites, "Ocean" by Velvet Underground. I also love the connection to the Mary Oliver poem "I go down to the shore": "I go down to the shore in the morning and depending on the hour the waves are rolling in or moving out, and I say, oh, I am miserable, what shall - what should I do? And the sea says in its lovely voice: Excuse me, I have work to do. "
@@teemunyström-z3b If I told you I saw Jane's Addiction live about 53 times since early 1989, would you believe me? It's true! I was their Alt Radio Promo guy at WB Records, then ended up co-managing Porno For Pyros. Best fkkking live band of my lifetime!
great to see this on film... although as I was there, just behind 'Grey Pit' it was so much better than watching through your phone... once in a lifetime experience seeing them at this venue, but how can you enjoy it holding your camera up for all of the gig.!
@@cwilh6044 I appreciate that, but maybe record one song - then enjoy the rest as its such a special one-off gig, you should've lived in the moment and took it in - they're playing a huge tour, so lots of fans will see them, instead of all of us behind you having to watch through your phone...including you..! plus its such a poor sound, it doesn't do them any justice...
reminds me of the intimate setting i first saw them in Los angeles downtown in some rinky dink place like cathay house or something or i cant remember name of it but they were not even popular and NIN played too that night saw them both .. ah ..... the 80s loved those years
...most likely you are referring Cathay de Grande....great venue to play and see bands (did both). pretty sure that jane's never played the cathay and it was their early outing as flower quartet (maybe psi-com?) you witnessed. also NIN never played with jane's in the 80's but they did play 1991 Lollapalooza (nin was formed in 88) ...must have been someone/something else you remember lol. oh well - not a big deal - all the best.
Man I thought I would be so excited to see this line up again.. but it has been so long that I just can't bring myself to care - saw them in the 80s and 90s and his is just kind of sad - Perry reminds me of David Lee Roth - Just past his prime and sad now ..
@@Chillydall02 Oh, now I must monitor my viewing for whatever I wish to observe? Go do your research on what Mr. Navarro and Mr. Farrell said about being an oldies act and never wanting to engage in such a travesty. 4 once vibrant musicians relegating themselves to a revival act. No one in that band had the integrity to say "no". Songs replayed after 30 years by an original member or non original member lacks the deepest levels of creativity and vitality. Eat it up. Buy a T-shirt, ticket, hot dog and beer. You can have it all.
@@littermonks yeah so what? Every band says sh*t like that when they’re young, it’s pretty much never the truth. So what do u suggest they do? They’re musicians, they enjoy touring and playing for fans. If they released a bunch of new stuff and said they were only playing new songs on tour no one would wanna go. They need to make a living still. So I ask you, if a band is older but still wants to tour what exactly should they do to make themselves not an “oldies act doing the re hash of the re re hash”?
I was at this and no amount of cynicism can take away from how epic this show was. Saw them then and saw them now and they delivered just like they did in ‘89.
My buddy Ruben worked at the Anaheim convention center for years, he made it his yearly goal to fart on Dave Navarro and his entourage at the NAMM convention and he made good on that goal year after year, I think it was the fifth year when Dave finally yelled out at Ruben "really?! Again?! Every f-n year!!" Such a good laugh after that one.
Oh man this sounds so great!!! It's so great to see the 4 of them together on stage again!
😬
Dave’s on 🔥! Great to see Navarro back because it’s not Jane’s Addiction without him.
Nothing Else Sounds Like, JANE'S ADDICTION!!!! Super Fantastico!!!!

They haven’t sounded like this since the old old days. Their magic is back full force.
for real, I got to see them through the small club years and this is it 100%, small room Janes is magic
Perry’s voice isn’t a patch on what it used to be.
We're hearing two different things, then.
Eric Avery is the secret

Saw them at Madison square garden in 91. My mind has been blown ever since.
I used to see these guys in LA in the late 80s. The shows they did around the release of Habitual were some of the best I've ever seen. GREAT band.
No you lie... they hang with big boyz.

Yup... Navarro is still the best.
Sick!! Seeing them in August. Geeked.
YYYEEESSSS! Saw Jane's in Seattle 2022. Missed Dave...still rocked the world. Best band ever...
They keep talking about the fighting started from the beginning of the tour but they all look like friends here
This is the only line up of this band. Eric A makes all the difference in the way they sound every time. Glad Dave is back too!
Impresionante Dave
👏👏👏👏
Gracias por subir el video.
Trae muchos recuerdos.
What a band. So Cool!
Gutted. I had no idea they would play a gig like this. Great venue
Wow what a great gig...to be so close to them like that
Is that actually Eric on bass? 😮
Oh yeah!!
no it’s Flea on stilts
Love the guitar intro. Reminds me late 80s H.S. Perry's voice is one of a kind.
Thank you Pit. Wonderful.
Thank you too!

Thats jcm 900 is back too
totally
Epic stuff, kinda like when they played Einstein A Go Go in Jax Bch back in 1991. Thanks Mr. Grey Pit...
Is this the original members ?
Yes,.they're together again.
Perry starting to remind me of Jack Lalayne...in a good way!
A month to go to Dublin
Fucking STOKED
Can't wait :)
cant believe you lucky geeza bastards got to see them in that size room
that is so cool
Better than 4 young guys!!!
If you love rock n roll and don't own JA cds or porno 4 pyros....you ve missed it
Perry's the only one who looks old.
He's a decade older than the rest of them isn't he?
This is the 1st time the original 4 have played together since they broke up.
Nah, I saw them at a festival years ago (2010) where they had Eric back on bass. He quit again a little after, but definitely not the first.
Toured Australia with this line up in 2010.
There is some inside turmoil going on inside Perry. Its like his body has failed his spirit😢
That freakin stage is so small surprised they didnt fall off.
Mic up the vocals sheesh! I hear Perry making a little noisy effects.

Yeah learn it playitcliveit
Band sounds great with Eric A on bass. Perry not so much.
that didn't last long
Sounds terrible (the sound quality)
Another oldies act doing a re-hash of the re-'re-hash of the re-re-re-hash. Might as well be a Jane's cover band.
What a stupid ass thing to say how dare you
So why are you watching the video then? It’s all original members so calling them a cover band makes 0 sense.
