The 90s were one hell of a trip and Jane’s made it absolutely timeless.
The ‘90’s? They broke up in 1991, remember? I think they had a bigger impact in the late-‘80’s. Ahead of their time, just like the Pixies.
Late 80s band. Got big in 1987
Heroin addict cliches
Never tried it🤡
I’m glad I got to enjoy them back then, because I’d being having a lot less fun amongst that boring and lifeless crowd which is a bunch of stiffs compared to the crowds I used to be amongst at Jane’s shows. I’d probably be looked at as weird for dancing to the music or something, instead of standing annoyingly with my cell phone up.
To many idiotic comments. For us Gen X's this is fucking gold. Yes, Perry doesn't sound good and basically ran out of voice half way after Three Days but remember they played a lot of old songs, I mean he really can't hit those notes he used to hit but at least he's trying and feeling happy to have his band again, that matters a lot to all of them. Dave, Perkins and Eric sound thigh as fuck. And Dave Navarro sounded amazing, very clean as as always.
James was my entire middle and high school years…. This performance by Perry is just LOUSY. He’s either on some downer or he’s beat up… but he’s waaaaay better in 2024 than this performance. See Pornos reunion shows
At least that is how you know the vocals are REAL. Too much fakery on the singing these days. I would rather hear flawed real than perfect forgery.
The original lineup and they look & sound SO DAMN GOOD.
I saw them twice in the winter of ‘88. Went backstage with my girlfriend after the second show. Smoked an amazing sativa with Perry, Casey and Dave along with a few other folks. Dave’s guitar still rings true with sensually melodic passages followed by roaring, mind bendingly jagged shards of sonic metal fury. 36 years later his playing still gives me goose bumps. Glad they’re all still around to ‘turn on’ another generation of devotees!
Eric Avery makes this band complete.
I absolutely stopped everything g I was doing and turned up the volume the moment the opening riff to “Summertime Rolls” came on.
My all time favorite song - by my all time favorite band - finally performed by the bassist that wrote my all time favorite bass line 🙏💛🎶👍
Holy Shit - ACTUAL Goosebumps when they started into Three Days immediately afterwards WHOA
It’s not Jane’s if Eric isn’t in the band
@@djofortunato5799well said man! Summertime is my number 1 song too…. It drives this emotion and gets me feeling a certain way…. It’s unexplainable as you can see by my struggle lol
Great video, just f*cking great, it`s on top of the dudes, right on them, just greatness. I cried at Summertime rolls, Jane`s was my 1st ever show in life in New Orleans back in 1990-1991, damn it. I am now 50 and still trying to bang on them drums, for the love of the art...
Sound engineering work is great!
Love you forever Janes Addiction !
Eric Avery is good at bass. And a good overall musician, great songwriter. His bass hits hard, has a deep groove, and cuts through, with iconic bass lines, emotional. Thank you Eric Avery for coming back!
His bass lines made those first two albums what they were... classics!!!! Master Class
@@joesassenberger agreed. Nothings shocking and ritual can not be touched. No one has a 2 album run like that, that defined their legacy, was the precursor to a huge shift in music (rise of alt/grunge). And, don't forget the legacy of Lollapalooza.
So, you like, like him??
Fuckin love JA, i was totally obsessed with this band back in the day. Great memories, impressive performance, summertime rolls!
Dave- always underrated...you still got it, brother.
I could make the argument that Dave is even more impressive than Eddie Van Halen. Both those bands have similarities. It’s definitely a California vibe.
underrated? hes one of the best guitarists of all time.
65 year old Grandpa Perry still got swag
Be waiting a long time to see this. Steve Perkins is an awesome drummer. They all have great stage presence.
Navarro is back with them, he couldn't make last year's tour because of long covid. This is the best.
Long covid lol he got vaxed to many times or was on janes
Yes, so glad Dave is back as well!!!!
Kettle Whistle is such a great opening tune, can't get it out of my head(and I won't start to try).
Wow. So happy to see Eric Avery back in the fold. What a killer rhythm section.
I don't want to call Dave Navarro underrated because he is a legend but he sure doesn't get enough credit for the amount of guitar players that he influenced. Nu metal, alt-rock/metal and grundge guitar players copied a lot from him.
Perry Farrell doesn't sound good here but he is one of the best singers out there, he was probably having a bad day.
Stephen Perkins and Dave Avery are great as always. Thanks for uploading.
Singers do have bad days that they can’t control.
This is fucking Jane's Addiction, one of the greatest band of the 90s🙌🖤
Jane`s Addiction! They are still Amazing! Three Days ...all of us are with Wings 🥲🥲🥲🙏♥ so great!!!!
I LOVE IT thanks for vidéo
Jane's Addiction the Best Band 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Saw them on Friday in Dublin. Navarro is a beast live
It's beyond incredible that the 4 original members are back and better than ever. I saw them twice in Munich while in Germany in the early 90s. I even climbed up on stage and did the "Running Man" dance to BEEN CAUGHT STEALING. I got pushed off stage by security within 15 seconds making it unforgettable.
At the same show, I took a glow stick with me and threw it up onstage. Perry took it and playfully deep throated it. LOL
I was a photographer for the Army at the time and had printed up a huge black and white photo of Perry lying in bed in a Jesus Christ pose. Being in the front row, I threw it up and he placed it in front of the kick drum. Good times!!

Thank you!!!
Thanks for sharing, brings back good memories. Jane's Addiction is an awesome band and as always an impressive performance (rhythm section by Eric Avery and Stephen Perkins, and the hallucinating guitar playing by Dave Navarro, and the narrative by Perry Farrell)!!!
This made my day! Each one of these guys is a master of their craft. Glad to hear them sounding big as ever.
YEAH!!! THE CLASSIC TEAM!!!!
Welkom terug Dave & Eric!
The mighty Jane’s Addition, wish I could’ve been at this show.
This is fantastic… one of my favorite bands of all time….i listen to them since I was 16….
Steve Perkns has not lost a step. sounding better than ever!!!
Sounds pure power I'm grateful to it.
Loved it, never thought to see them live!
Seeing Eric Avery playing with them again is amazing. He was SUCH a big part of their sound.
Awesome drumming
Stephen has not lost a step. So fuckin heavy!!
Amazing the original 4! Great to see Eric Avery back! ❤
Eric rocking the IDLES t-shirt x
We LOVE you guys! Know that!
So good!
Amazing Always, Jane’s Forever !!!!!!!❤🤘🥰
Incredible...thanks for posting.
So awesome! Band sounds amazing. Please come out to Hawaii!
Just the Best.
So glad to have Dave back in Janes. My favorite guitar player
Tighter than ever
Frickin' band is bringin' it !!!
Spectacular sound quality!
Great Talent Band 🎸🎤👍👏👋
Great Band Prog Jane's Addition 🎸🎤🎹👍👏👋
To me Jane’s is like a dark Van Halen. Killer sounding band with an outrageous front man. DLR would go off sounding nothing like the record sometimes out of tune. Perry also is a front man with a certain charisma that makes up for any out of tune singing. I can be critical also but I thought he sounded good. This is Jane’s style.
That's what you call live music kids. 🙏
Those drums sound mega! What a mix.

Great band, thank you.
GREAT TALENT BAND PROG JANE ADDICTION 👏 🎸🎹🎤👍👌👋
They are fucking crushing it! So glad.
That setlist though!!!!🔥🔥🔥
❤️🙏 summertime rolls ☀️☀️
The rest of the guys KILLIN' it...come on, Perry.
is he reading some of the lyrics?
he's old
That Jane Says was pretty sweet!
The band played like 30 years hadn't passed... the vocals: not so much.
@@derickvillarino that stand has a knobs that Perry uses control the amount of digital delay on his vocals. He turns it up at the end of a verse for example so his last word repeats and feeds back. He’s always used delay live, but it hasn’t been controlled by him on the stage since the early days. Dave is a huge fan of digital delay too. He still bends down to tweak with his Boss digital delay on occasion.
This crowd is lifeless. Some people nodding their heads, lots recording the entire pro shot show on their phones. I miss the 90s.
Well, Perry's voice is awful and offensive. Don't expect the crowd to love it.
This is brilliant perry sounds great as does rest of band i seen them at lollapalooza once after big and stray album. I hope to to see them again
Amazing Set. 🎶🌎🫶🏼🫵🏼
This is really good 🎶
Chemistry. It just hits different. Great to see Eric back in the band.
Swedish visit needed :) Great to see this band back again.
remember when you would watch the CD play on your discman? You were memorized that it would change songs by just pressing forward or back. Loved Ritual.
Good to see you back Dave \\MM//
For me, as a Gen x person, Jane's addiction is the pioneers of alternative music. Perry Ferrell, Dave Navarro, Eric Avery, and Stephen Perkins are legends.
It's still amazing!!!!
the band its perfect, the vocals mmmmm
Wow. Awesome ♥️ cheers 🍻 janes. Come back to cleveland we love you 😍 all of us with wings!!!!
Que lindo concierto y que lindo sonido 🎉
Magnifico ❤
Gr8 band
Dave is at the top of his game, so awesome. Stop and Mountain song really showcase how good he can make a guitar sing. Bravo brutha.
Jane’s is like if The Doors existed now today, just memorizing.
Great comparison, JA hypnotized, just like the Doors. Then blow your fuckin head off, like the Doors can....but JA rocks a little bit harder :). That's just from existing in the 80s-90s. They even both came from the Sunset strip!
Very LA indeed.
hell ya, that's how you put on a rock show! I saw them a bunch in the 90's, they kicked ass then and still do.
we need a pedalboard pic of Mr Navarro....
Im so glad to see the original Jane's lineup, just like it should be, wish to seem them live, this is proof friendship is real!! Long live Jane's ❤
The band haven’t sounded this Great in Years ! SO Glad Avery is back - the whole rhythm section has so much more feel & swagger.
Also glad to see Perry ditched the Gigantix diagonal EFX rack he had on stage so many years. Hehe They make them Much Smaller now Perry - you can fit it in your man-purse lol
@13:28 I didn't know Brett Farve played the bass!
Jesus H Tapdancin' Christ! What a unit!
machtiiig ;-)
Okay. They are old. But I love their albums.😊
Holy shit, what a fucking good band, awesome
These guys aren't on the main stage???
Bass players take notes. I have been since ‘94 when I first heard Janes Addiction.
Man this is incredible. Band has the mojo back 1000%. Perry can’t sing like he used to but I appreciate the effort.
🙏🕉🙏
Een hoop herrie en gekrijs. Pinkpop voor elk wat wils.
Just to say - is it weird to think but - did not Avery also used to do backing vocals for some of these tunes that filled the vocals out a little bit (?)
Is Perry a wino?
Can't wait to play in my car and have the subs hit me upside my head
Hopefully lasts long enough for 1 more album - the last one was actually pretty good - and North American tour.
De band Jinjer, ... het overwegen waard💖✌
Man, the band is freaking tight! Perry, on the other hand.....
Now that Perry's getting a bit too old to sing those high notes or really project his voice, a part of me thinks they should do smaller acoustic shows like their Guitar Center performance a few years ago. He can still sing well if he doesn't have to belt. Either way, how cool is it to see the original gang back together? Woohoo!
His voice is gone
