Glad to see that your Jeep can pull the Geo Pro with no problem we are thinking of purchasing a Geo Pro and pulling it with our Toyota FJ Cruiser. Thanks for the video great campground.
Hi Alex, My Jeep JLU handle the Geo Pro great. At times I forget I'm towing a camper trailer. My Geo Pro model is G19BH at 3088 lbs. Geo Pro’s have a few models under 4000 lbs. We love our Geo Pro. Let me know what you end up getting. We love going to Boyd’s campground because you’re in Key West. So much to do there. Thanks for watching and comment.
My wife and i just watched your lastest video. We found you a month or so ago and we watched all the camping videos, We are from Tampa and want to travel to some of the campgrounds you have showen. We have a new camper and your tips are helpful. Great job we like you tours of the parks! ,
Hi Stephen, Thanks for watching my videos. I appreciate it. if you have any questions on anything don't hesitate to ask me. I'll do my best to help you. I want to go to the Tampa area next year. Cheers, JC
Thanks, Mr. Top. Yes, it is indeed. I love that it is in the last Key, Key West. So many things to see and do. Numerous amounts of restaurants to choose from. Every time we go to Boyd’s, there never seems to have enough time. Thanks for watching. Cheers, JC
Thanks for the video. This is the best way to check out where to go in the future. BTW I’m now your 179th sub. I’m currently at “The Palms RV Resort” in Yuma AZ.. I did a short clip on it recently, full review to follow. It is an awesome place. Keep up the good stuff.
Hi Living Arizona, your welcome. I always TH-cam a campground / RV resort before going. I’m just trying to give back to the TH-cam community. Thanks for watching and subscribing to the channel. BTW I’m your 698 subscriber. LOL
Thank you for sharing your video. My wife and I just returned home from a short weekend stay in Branson, MO. I have a 2019 Jeep Wrangler and pulled a small pop up to a nice little camp ground in Kimberling City. While the pop was easy to pull, same with setup and take down I’m still interested in a travel trailer such as yours. What is your camper dry weight and model? I know each camper can vary with dealership add ons and am hopeful to use yours as a template. Thanks again and have a great day!!
Hi, Grandpa jeep. I have a Geo Pro model G19BH; it’s early 2021. We purchased it in September of 2020. At the time, this model's dry weight is 3088 lbs. Currently, the same model is now 3178 lbs. I chose the bunk beds model to have guessed stay with us. 4 adults can sleep very comfortably. We had coupe stay with us a few times, we all get a good night sleep. Geo Pro’s have three models under 3K lbs. All Geo Pro models are under 3600 lbs. Geo Pro comes very well equipped with everything you need. We love our Geo Pro and are very happy with it. Everything has worked as it should. Up to date 6/26/21, we have gone on 13 trips, 5904 traveling miles with the camper attached, and a total of 40 full days camping inside the Geo Pro. We purchased our Geo Pro camper at a small dealer that only sells Geo Pro’s in Fort Pierce, Florida. We are happy with the dealer as well. Thanks for watching and for your question. Happy camping, JC.
Hi Kevin, Nice! Those are the sites I want to stay at, right on the water. They are never available when I book. We always go last minute. Hey, thanks for watching and you’re comment. Cheers, JC.
Hi Deborah, it’s a good size and you have a virility of different campsite to chose from. It’s clean and organize. My go-to place when I go to Key West. Thanks for watching and your comment. Cheers!
Hi Bike Boats Bivouacs, Absolutely I’ve been meaning to do one for a while now. I’ll do one when I get a good campsite to show my rig out. Of the Geo Pro and Jeep. Thanks for watching.
Hi Steve S, I do have tow mirrors. They are not that good. I’m having a hard time finding tow mirrors that fit good on the Jeep. The ones I have now will do for now. I’m always looking out for tow mirrors. Thanks for watching.
@@Ultracon I have found a couple of options for my Tundra. My trailer is 8 feet wide (getting it in April from factory). I have seen clip on, slide on and full new mirror replacements. First two are around $50, last $175. I have a blind spot monitor so replacement had to support that. Just trying to decide what my best option is. Replacements take about an hour to change out but like the look of existing mirrors. The replacements have 9x12 mirror area.
@@imillionaires Steven, that’s awesome! Options are always good. My suggestion is: since your not going to tow the trailer all the time go with the clip-on or slide-on. Maybe where you are purchasing these they have a 30 day return policy. Give them a try towing the trailer. See how you like them. If they don’t work out go with the full mirror. It will be worth the time and money. Safety is everything. The clips on mine are not big enough to hold tight. That’s why I use rope as well it’s time consuming. I need to reattach them 2-3 times on a trip. I’ll see if there is a full new mirror for towing for the Jeep. Thanks for the follow-up. Let me know how it goes. Cheers JC.
Hi, Superkunk2. It’s the best price now during the off-season. The current is $105 a night. I paid $124 plus 12.5 of tax per night in November 2020. Boyd’s is in Key West there, for it’s not too bad. It’s one of the most economical RV resorts in the Florida Keys. Sunshine Key RV is currently $174-$215 per night and your one-hour drive from Key West. I do agree with you. The Keys have become expensive to be able to camp. Thanks for watching and for your input. Cheers, JC.
I don't understand why you guys packed everything up to leave and then she drive away only to come back and set it all up again just to say thanks for watching the video. I mean, wouldn't it have been much easier to have just stepped outside the jeep at the entrance and said goodbye, thanks for watching?
Hi Saxon, When I said goodbye I was done recording. It was an afterthought to record the Jeep / Trailer leave the campsite. I wanted to show the Jeep towing the Trailer as we leave. This is a video editing issue. I’ll keep this in mind for the future no to confuse my audience. Trust me when we pack-up and leave, we leave most of the time. There are exceptions where we need to move sites to be able to stay the length of days we want or a nicer site. This happen in an incoming video. Thanks for pointing this out and your comment.
Very nice set up that you have there with the Jeep and the Geopro. Nice review of Byod's as well. Continued safe travels....
