I’m an American guy in my 50’s, and I like to eat clean, somewhat low carb for the most part. So plenty of protein and vegetables. I love pizza and burgers, but won’t eat them. Anyway, here is the 5 I mostly eat at: 1) Robin Hood. 2)The Sportsman, Soi 13. 3) Salad Factory 4) Tops Food Hall Deli where you can sit at the counter 5) Beef Eater Steak House.
This is the beauty of the Pattaya area, the choice of restaurants is amazing. From budget to top end and most nationalities catered for. Even the surrounding areas (darkside, Jomtien etc) have great choices
I agree 100% with good variety of restaurants in Pattaya area, but beer selection sucks big time. No good selection of craft beer bars, micro-brewery’s (except Hops), etc. just awful. I am traveling in DaNang and now Saigon. What a great craft beer micro-brewery and craft beer scene. Very popular. Getting my good beer fix here before I go back to Pattaya next month.

Some Amazing Breakfasts at places like The Hideaway. Robin's Nest was good as was Witherspoon's. Chunky Monkey (I understand is closed) was decent and the list is so long I could spend hours listing places. Best Value for me was the Breakfast at The Hideaway, which you passed at the 2:30 mark in the video. Amazing amount of food for a very low price, plus the staff and owner were really excellent! Love your videos. Great work.

Trev, David Strachan interviewed the lady owner in Kungs a month or 2 back. Basically they moved across the road where they are now to a bigger premises but have kept the old place which they intend to open as a late night fast food/takeaway outlet when things are "back to normal".

Me and my friends used to eat lovely Thai food and panini at Patini cafe around 10 years ago, great to see it’s still going strong 🙏🏼thanks for the great video.
Someone might be able to confirm this, but I heard The Nest is not the same as Robin’s Nest. It’s the same building, but they have a new owner and new chef. I think the old owner is now the manager of the new Witherspoons (at the old Rcon) and the old chef is there too. So it might be worth checking out the new Nest to see if the food’s just as good as the old place. I remember their all day breakfast were great, as well as their Sunday roast and chilli con carne. I even had a few deliveries from there to the condo I was staying at, including some Thai food for my guest. The Beer Garden is another good place, of course. A great way to start the evening if you’re planning to party down Walking Street, and sitting over the water as the sun sets makes it that much better. The other place I liked has unfortunately closed, and that’s Retox (both of them). Did anyone try the breakfast challenge at the Retox that was on Soi Lengkee?
I live on Thai street food when in Pattaya but when getting cravings for European food about once a month or so, I always went to THE BERLINER on Soi 13 with huge portions of German food, mainly pork. Loved their EISBEIN WITH SAUERKRAUT. A friend also told me about the famous Sunday Brunch at THE MANTRA RESTAURANT, but I’m not the open buffet formal restaurant dress code guy and never went there but I was also told that the chef there had Michelin-stars, so must be good.
Jollys and the nest were always good for typical western food. The all day breakfast in I rovers was a gut buster. Looks like Cafe Pattini can finally fry an egg.

Primeburger is one of my favorites. Stockholm burger is my favorite burger with the Paris burger second. I usually need a few burgers to make me feel good on my Pattaya trips. As an American, I need some beef along with the Thai food that I love.
About 100m from the entrance to walking street on beach road is The Baywatch restaurant. It's been in the same place for many years and is always busy. The best Chicken Penang in Thailand 😊
Last Thanksgiving, I went to the Blue Moose; it was the finest Thanksgiving feast that I have ever had, even in America. Also, if you are American, you may want to visit the diner, Route 66 for some excellent diner type of food.
Nicky's bar/ restaurant for a Sunday dinner (just like Mum makes 😋) never been disappointed. I have tried many! Highly Recommended. Breakfast...Hungry Hippo, great value. 👍
I like the German place on Beach Rd. I forget the name but it’s before Soi 6 if you’re walking against the traffic. Staff are really friendly and the food is excellent. I really hope they have survived the madness.
Nikkis is great food for sure. My go to place was the seaside restaurant on soi chiapoon or pothole. They do all kinds of roast. And my favourite the big piping hot bowell of beef stew with a big bowell of mash. Great prices to. The Thai guy who ran it had worked in big hotels in London . Haven't been to Thailand for ages but seen it on your videos, great place. Ps they were all around 80 to 100 b. I should think that they haven't gone much up in price. Great value. And they gave you a cold towel pie yen after
The Nest is great had many a great meal in it when was over in December/February and IRovers can’t beat it for the big breakfast to start the day , Tomas and Darren sound felas , can’t wait get back all best trev
I've been to the Time bar a few times for drinks. I didn't realise they also serve food, so I'll have to try that next time. I don't usually remember the names of the restaurants I go to, so I can't really recommend very many. If you like your steaks, the Beefeater is my favourite. A nice steak and a pint of lager is about 900 or 1000 baht, if prices still are what they used to be. This was a very informative video, by the way! ✔
Nice selection. But how come that Cheap Charlie's almost not raise it's prices while Hungry Hippo raises them almost every week. I had a 30 THB rise in 1 week for their taco's ...
Yes Devonshire on Soi Lenkhee allways a good meal and Robins Nest on soi Dianna now called Robins allways good and a good area for everything you need....
I start my day with my normal breakfasts then have Thai food for lunch and dinner maybe once in 10 days i have a steak no need to go out early as not much open anyway mix in some variety because its everywhere.
Once a holiday I always went to Tequila Reef on soi 7. They used to do a New Orleans blackened duck breast which was amazing. Other than that, I'm Thai food all the way
Hi mate just seen you're vid , even just riding around brings back memories, the devonshire you mentioned had a nice choice of menu breakfast was reasonable went there a cple of times, also do thai food, and another place ove been is craft cottage lk metro, the eggs in a sweet roll with cheese and side salad lovely , keep it up mate hopefully be there soon ,I'll come to your bar
Trev , absolutely great video for people who love falang food. But not knocking this video at all could you do the best Thai food places , because I love my Thai food and who else could recommend but you who always eats Thai food. I remember a restaurant you had lunch with your wife on Kho Lan island that looked so good. Thank you Trevor
IMHO Kungs is the best quality / VFM breakfast in town (starts from 109b) - choice of 10 different sausages - all home made - home cured bacon - even the hash browns are home made - Comes with free filter coffee / tea ...
Pattaya is amazing for good food and good restaurants ,when I finish dreaming about the girls I dream about Thai curry and cuisines.will be back for a red duck curry soon.
Hey Trev, just came back from a 30 day holiday in Pattaya (as you know) and the best place I have eaten is The Sky Gallery in Pratamnak. This is a different category restaurant. The food is excellent, but it's not cheap. For two good steaks for two persons you will need B2000 in your wallet. And if you want a bottle of wine with it, you'll need another B2000. The view is awesome. If you really want to impress your Miss with a romantic dinner, The Sky Gallery is the place to be.
across from Bronx pizza is a excellent BBQ chicken stand /grill that is very lean good quality many favors I body build and i go there to stay in shape. I have try many of the chicken grills this one is the best. if anyone is looking for that love your channel. I feel like I'm in the secret men's club when I watch keep up the good work
Cafe patini has great food, one place I can highly recommend is Nadia's restaurant over on bonkot. Amazing food, great prices and very clean establishment.
Sunday carvery at the Queen Vic soi 6 is great value, all the meats if you like, the rest is just pile it on... Prawn cocktail, and 2 really nice soups are serve yourself too. And a little desert to wash it down.. All sat in a genuine looking British pub with draft beers ... Only 370bht 🥳🥳🥳🥳
Had Sunday roast on your recommendation,I was not disappointed.Gone up to the village for a month and took 10 meals for microwave bang on .Hungry Hippo 10/10
Western food is such a gamble. Pattaya has some ok places. Every now and again you have to do it because as much as you enjoy Thai food, it ain't toad in the hole.
I'm sure that Prime Burgers place used to be a British style pub called The Queen Vic or something like that, one of those common British pub names. I'm talking 15 years or so ago. Food was very good at that time in there.
@@Buzzinpattaya Talking of English food, do you know where 'Greg's Kitchen' has moved to ? I've heard it's moved from the old premises in 2nd Road, it was over the other side of Pattaya Klang a little way up 2nd road on the right hand side. I can't find where it is now.
Im not sure if this is considered a 'sunday roast', but the Lek hotel has a very decent buffet. From what i remember, it was 150 baht in 2019. There is a range of authentic thai, westernized thai and more. If you stuff yourself here once a day and eat another 60 baht street food meal you should be set for food with a budget of 220 baht per day.
Great vid Trev...very helpful. I'll be there again next weekend, for the 500th time but always learning something new! Getting harpooned on the beach 55555555!
Another place that was good was Greg's kitching on second road at the top on the right. But I was told its gone, but maybe its moved somewhere else. That was great English grub. Also the all you can eat buffet at the lek Hotel and the apex Hotel both on second road, exilent value 150 b I think
Seaside in soi pothole was always good value. Personally I'd never go to somewhere like robins nest because I'm not paying roughly the same as in would in Australia in Thailand.
thankyou so much for doing this video when.. I first came to Pattaya, I had the hardest time finding food western food other than Mc Donald's which gets old fast. Beef is a real issue in Thailand because many Thais dont eat it or dont know how to cook it. I can eat some Thai food but most of it smells like garbage to me so I can't do it great work again thanks
I spent seven years in the US Navy, traveling all over Asia and West Pacific countries. To me, part of the adventure was eating the local foods. We had a few guys who always looked for the local Mc Donalds. I never understood that lol.
for me the sunday roast is robin hood their buffet is 600 b if i'm not wrong 350 for big plate and the sportsman which i never try it before. i try the sportsman pizza buffet before i really enjoy it
I've eaten at the Prime Burger one time. The food was very good but the price was kind of high. I paid about USD 13.00 for a Burger, fries, and 1 beer.
@@robertdawson4502 I think Prime Burger is higher end than fast food places. Think Gourmet Burgers. Same as pizza you got your $10 Dominos/Pizza Hut and higher end pizza places.

Honestly when I finish part 2 I was thinking that to myself there are so many restaurants here
Nikkis is great food for sure.

Thank you
I've been to the Time bar a few times for drinks.
The food is good
Nice selection. But how come that Cheap Charlie's almost not raise it's prices while Hungry Hippo raises them almost every week. I had a 30 THB rise in 1 week for their taco's ...
I have no idea my friend that's down to the owners
Yes Devonshire on Soi Lenkhee allways a good meal and Robins Nest on soi Dianna now called Robins allways good and a good area for everything you need....
Thank you for sharing
You should do the best Mu Kratha/Mookata. Or do a Thai dish every week. Would be really exciting.
Will do mate
very useful, i will be in pattaya in november, and will try all those places
Great 👍
I start my day with my normal breakfasts then have Thai food for lunch and dinner maybe once in 10 days i have a steak no need to go out early as not much open anyway mix in some variety because its everywhere.
Sounds great!
Once a holiday I always went to Tequila Reef on soi 7. They used to do a New Orleans blackened duck breast which was amazing. Other than that, I'm Thai food all the way
Nice one
Hi mate just seen you're vid , even just riding around brings back memories, the devonshire you mentioned had a nice choice of menu breakfast was reasonable went there a cple of times, also do thai food, and another place ove been is craft cottage lk metro, the eggs in a sweet roll with cheese and side salad lovely , keep it up mate hopefully be there soon ,I'll come to your bar
Yes the Devonshire does get a good reputation
Trev , absolutely great video for people who love falang food. But not knocking this video at all could you do the best Thai food places , because I love my Thai food and who else could recommend but you who always eats Thai food. I remember a restaurant you had lunch with your wife on Kho Lan island that looked so good. Thank you Trevor
I will cover thai food soon mate
Cafe Pitini is quite good. I eat there regularly.
Close to where I stay and very clean with friendly staff.
Thank you for the shout out
IMHO Kungs is the best quality / VFM breakfast in town (starts from 109b) - choice of 10 different sausages - all home made - home cured bacon - even the hash browns are home made - Comes with free filter coffee / tea ...
Absolutely agree 100%
Yes they do have a good reputation and good food
Pattaya is amazing for good food and good restaurants ,when I finish dreaming about the girls I dream about Thai curry and cuisines.will be back for a red duck curry soon.
Being married I dream about food far more LOL
Hey Trev, just came back from a 30 day holiday in Pattaya (as you know) and the best place I have eaten is The Sky Gallery in Pratamnak. This is a different category restaurant. The food is excellent, but it's not cheap. For two good steaks for two persons you will need B2000 in your wallet. And if you want a bottle of wine with it, you'll need another B2000. The view is awesome. If you really want to impress your Miss with a romantic dinner, The Sky Gallery is the place to be.
Thank you mate for the recommendation and yes a great place
across from Bronx pizza is a excellent BBQ chicken stand /grill that is very lean good quality many favors I body build and i go there to stay in shape. I have try many of the chicken grills this one is the best. if anyone is looking for that love your channel. I feel like I'm in the secret men's club when I watch keep up the good work
Thanks for sharing
Cafe patini has great food, one place I can highly recommend is Nadia's restaurant over on bonkot. Amazing food, great prices and very clean establishment.
Thank you very much for the recommendation
Sunday carvery at the Queen Vic soi 6 is great value, all the meats if you like, the rest is just pile it on...
Prawn cocktail, and 2 really nice soups are serve yourself too.
And a little desert to wash it down..
All sat in a genuine looking British pub with draft beers ...
Only 370bht 🥳🥳🥳🥳
Thanks will check it out
Had Sunday roast on your recommendation,I was not disappointed.Gone up to the village for a month and took 10 meals for microwave bang on .Hungry Hippo 10/10
Have a fantastic trip
8:42 Yea Devonshire has great food, especially breakfasts
Thank you for your recommendation
Witherspoon goes good love all the food the bangers and mash plus Sutus court I stay that has great food
Bangers and mash what a shout
The Sunday roast at Kinnaree is great. Free with a bar tab of a few hundred baht, or something like that.
Nice shout mate
Western food is such a gamble. Pattaya has some ok places.
Every now and again you have to do it because as much as you enjoy Thai food, it ain't toad in the hole.

I'm sure that Prime Burgers place used to be a British style pub called The Queen Vic or something like that, one of those common British pub names. I'm talking 15 years or so ago. Food was very good at that time in there.
Yeah it wasn't Queen Vic but for the life of me I can't remember the name lol
@@Buzzinpattaya
Talking of English food, do you know where 'Greg's Kitchen' has moved to ?
I've heard it's moved from the old premises in 2nd Road, it was over the other side of Pattaya Klang a little way up 2nd road on the right hand side. I can't find where it is now.
@@Buzzinpattaya The Butcher's Arms
Smokin Joe's next to Hungry Panda do great steaks & chicken dinners..not the cheapest but really good..used to treat myself one a week in there
"once"
Thank you for sharing
Im not sure if this is considered a 'sunday roast', but the Lek hotel has a very decent buffet. From what i remember, it was 150 baht in 2019. There is a range of authentic thai, westernized thai and more. If you stuff yourself here once a day and eat another 60 baht street food meal you should be set for food with a budget of 220 baht per day.
Fair one
Great vid Trev...very helpful. I'll be there again next weekend, for the 500th time but always learning something new! Getting harpooned on the beach 55555555!
LOL have a great trip
Another place that was good was Greg's kitching on second road at the top on the right. But I was told its gone, but maybe its moved somewhere else. That was great English grub. Also the all you can eat buffet at the lek Hotel and the apex Hotel both on second road, exilent value 150 b I think
Not sure will check it out
Robins nest is good roasts about 340 baht but massive feed
Robins Nest has an excellent breakfast
Had a couple of roasts in Nickys and a couple in the nest (Robins nest) both were very good, the fish and chips is very good in Kilkenny
Thank you for sharing
Seaside in soi pothole was always good value.
Personally I'd never go to somewhere like robins nest because I'm not paying roughly the same as in would in Australia in Thailand.
I agree but sometimes its nice to eat in a place with air con
@@bowlocks 5555 fair enough mate 👍
Thank you for sharing
The Sunday roast at Robin Hood is quite good and a great value for the amount of food you get.
I had a breakfast roll from there recently and it was awesome
thankyou so much for doing this video when..
Glad you enjoyed the video and thank you for sharing your experience with us
I don't like Thai food OK with English, Indian and Chinese Had a really good steak at Krabi But cost 1000.Baht
I have eaten many times at the Beer Gardenand never been disappointed.
nice one mate
Very informative video, it’s really helps for us future visitors to Pattaya. 👍
Glad it was helpful!
Have you ever been to Harrys on Soi Diana and if so your take on the place
No mate so sorry
13,coins another good place soi bakhoa.
Also the Mexican place in soi 7 was fantastic think it's closed now.
I remember that place well
Coming out in October finally getting back will be nearly 3 years
nice one
Any recommendations for those who are going on a more keto/paleo diet? Lost 120 pounds doing that by the way.
Not sure will ask around
I spent seven years in the US Navy, traveling all over Asia and West Pacific countries. To me, part of the adventure was eating the local foods. We had a few guys who always looked for the local Mc Donalds. I never understood that lol.
Thanks for sharing your experience
for me the sunday roast is robin hood their buffet is 600 b if i'm not wrong 350 for big plate and the sportsman which i never try it before. i try the sportsman pizza buffet before i really enjoy it
It is very good agreed
I've eaten at the Prime Burger one time. The food was very good but the price was kind of high. I paid about USD 13.00 for a Burger, fries, and 1 beer.
That's very expensive western price, I'm Australian
@@JJ-vy2rh When I can buy a burger fries and drink at any place in America for about $6, yes it is quite expensive.
@Robert Dawson I don't know as I said I'm in Australia, but you can get a burger in Cambodia for 1 dollar
Thank you for sharing your experience
@@robertdawson4502 I think Prime Burger is higher end than fast food places. Think Gourmet Burgers. Same as pizza you got your $10 Dominos/Pizza Hut and higher end pizza places.
Personally I like the food in The Queen Vic, great Sunday carvery
Nice one
ls that Soi 6 ?
