"I do not understand" why people are so obsessed about AI replaceing anything, AI is just a tool like anything else that human has invented period; and it should be used as a tool. Also when someone uses AI for doing these jobs they still pay for its services, it is not free; yeah it might be cheaper ... but how long until the prices aligns.

That's a good question. Tools are usually cheaper than services. With regards to AI replacing things, it is certainly going to replace people in some roles but as you mention it will also create new roles and opportunities.

I am a non develper who is trying to build my own site using the WP 2024 theme. For the most part, I am able to create a simple and neat website. But any tweaks which requires code, even using ChatGPT, is difficult cos I don't know the architecture of WP or the theme. As someone with an IT background, I can understand code and architecture but requires a lot of work. As I dabble with AI (for code or even image generation etc), human input is definitely needed.

Try using Builders like Oxygen builder. It gives complete control on what you create. That's how I created my site on WP with just the help of ChatGPT.

Humans will always be needed! Good luck with your site.

Although it's pretty scary, all this new tech is opening so many possibilities! I agree that it's definitely going to make us more efficient -- but I'm most excited about using it to concept designs as you've mentioned! And of course, that human "je ne sais quoi," will be the difference between the mediocre and those who blow it out of the water. Like Adobe Creative Suite in its day, this new tech will separate the wheat from the chaff. As always, I think you've nailed it, Alex. ☺️

I agree! It's exciting to think about the creative potential. We can't forget about the human touch though 😉. Thanks for your kind words.

As a Sci-Fi fan i still worry about AI (Skynet, anyone?), bit I think now is probably the heyday for usining it if you have/learn the skills. If not I think we will lose out to those who do.
(Enjoyed the video, but I did find the text graphics a bit too big and distracting, and you might want to double check the spelling on "web design".) Good luck with these new videos.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll tone down the big text in future videos :)

GPT can do wonders.. but can only help you if you already know a lot. Thats today's AI tools at least.
