Great talk, thanks Roy. So pertinent in understanding what is happening in the world today. Especially the USA.

Dr. Schoeman: thank you so much for these erudite and enlightening (wink!) Talks. I often save them and share them with the people in my life that are not living in the truth, or searching for something other than God so thank you for allowing me to have excellent tools with which too share the truth and joy of knowing Jesus Christ!

Hi I am from Shelburne Falls Massachusetts and I heard that you came to our diocese perhaps Saint Joseph’s I wished I would have met you my friend April met you and said you were amazing so I have watched all of your programs and ask for your prayers I love your story and it helps me very much when I am feeling disconnected And when I feel like I’m getting slothful, so I think you very much I have four children especially my three boys that need conversion, so I’m asking you to pray for Joseph and Christopher and Andrew and my daughter Katie, who is in the middle of deliverance program. Thank you so much. God bless you.

Interesting and makes sense why modernism is so opposed to Christianity in general but Catholicism specifically!

Roy, I love your content and have been watching you for years. I was raised Catholic and went my own way after the age of 16. I went through college, got a great job, met a beautiful girl and got married. Before our first child was born, I had a reversion to the Church and since then we had our marriage convalidated. However, my wife is Jewish. She was raised reformed Jewish and is basically agnostic. She has no idea even about OT bible stories. She loves lox and bagels and that is about the extent of her religiosity. Do you have a book or video I can present to her to at least introduce her to what the hope of the Jewish people is and how that is fulfilled in the Catholic Church?
    God Bless.

@@JewishCatholic respectfully, I have bought your book, read it, and appreciate your work. How do you change the heart of an otherwise loving person who has no interest in God or religion. Please pray for my Jewish wife to meet, know, and love our Lord. God Bless.

I can highly recommend Roy's book about Jewish converts to Catholicism, "Honey From the Rock". It is riveting, compulsive reading. God is dealing with His Chosen People in a special way, bringing them into the one true Church.

@TheZebbedee12. I can also recommend 'Honey from the Rock'. After my own conversion from Judaism to Catholicism i read it, gave it to my Jewish Mum to read and she has now become Catholic. It helped her open her heart and study Tanakh in a new light. I'll keep you and your wife in my prayers. God bless, Sr Miriam Feena.

Excellent explanation about key historic change at the enlighment moment, forgetting God both in a demochracy (greedy) or at communism(totalitatiam): Descartes was their philosophical base althoug at that time priest Pierre Gassendi a philosopher and astronomer contradict him, as Faith, Intuition and Spiritual was not included in his method

Roy, how to see God's providence in our life?

    • @JewishCatholic

A good start would be reading de Caussade and other books I mentioned in my series on Divine Providence.

@JewishCatholic is there addressed problem of knowing God intellectually but not truly believing Him? I have a problem of trust and belief. I know what I should know. But I struggle to "sense" God in life. Life seems so Godless and it is horrifying feeling. Im frustrated because I feel a lot of people are struggling with similar problems "knowing theory" and not knowing real God.

Would you please check Pietre Gassendi
I think if we humanking had followed hia pilosophical teachings nor Descartes' we would have the presence of God in all areas (politics, economics, church, etc) of the World

That Greed is Good speech was taken by too many people as a maxim to live by even though it was said by the bad guy!
