As "The Waltz" commenced I was so impressed by the sheer complexity and yet faithfulness of the arrangement that it made my jaw drop to the floor. Such quality is an offer one would be unwise to refuse. You've earned a new subscriber (quite frankly now I'm tempted to learn at least part of your arrangement and post it on my channel someday, as I try and record the variety of film music, among other things). Feel welcome to drop by and see what I've done so far. Warmest regards from a fellow cinema lover. All the best on your musical journey.
Thank you very much for your wonderful comment - it really made my day! It especially means a lot coming from a fellow pianist and film music lover. I checked out your channel and you are also doing some great work! You have a good taste in film music and music in general, so I will have to check out more. I'd also be honored if you wanted to learn any part of the suite. It is a fun piece to play, with a lot of great counter melodies that I tried to bring out in this arrangement. Cent'anni!
Beautiful, simply beautiful. I love how you arranged such complicated passages as "The New Godfather" and made "The Waltz" seem easy. Where your mastery as an interpreter was most evident was in "Love Theme", which was also no easy feat, and in "The Immigrant", which seemed directly composed by Rachmaninoff. Finally, the final "Waltz" was a display of talent from both you and Nino Rota, it was apart from the perfect recapitulation, the best possible version of the Godfather Waltz, so much so that Bach would be proud.
Wow thank you for this comment, it means a lot! I appreciate that you mention Bach, because I took inspiration from his use of inner voicing, especially in the fugues, to bring out the beautiful counter melodies that Rota composed.
Great work on this arrangement! Is there any chance you’d be able to make a synthesia tutorial version? I’d love to be able to play this but unfortunately can’t read sheet music
This was beautiful. I think better than the original. I could listen to play all day. I love. Aunt Susie
Thanks Aunt Susie!! Happy Thanksgiving!

Very beautiful! Could you do Kays Theme as well?
Thank you! I am considering doing individual videos for each extended theme, so I will add that one to the list - good idea!
Бесподобная музыка!
I got kicked out of the Steinway store for playing this song on an $85,000 grand piano...
No Godfather, denied!
