Thanks David for the video, I went ahead and ordered one for my parents with the pet bowl. I'm hoping the hot water is hot enough for my Dad to make his tea.
You'll need a but a 5 gal standard - also the stem is quite deep, it's to reach the bottom of the 5 gal jug. Also, the top fits on a standard jug! You'll have to refer to the brand for specifics, but I get my jugs at home depot 👍🏾
I got this same exact one and I use the night light whenever it’s dark, i just switch it on when I need to fill it up in the dark and then when I’m done i just turn it off, am I weird😅😂
I've always wondered why they won't/can't add a sensor to the buttons for dispensing the water. Touch the sensor/dispenser so the light comes on when you are filling up the bottle/cup, rather than a switch on the back/blindside of the machine that is either just on or off
That's so odd! I use primo water (from home depot) and never had a taste like that, even when I started using it. It could be your system needs a good flushing out, but I'd also taste the water straight from the bottle to be sure. I wouldn't consume more than just a taste though just in case there are chemicals getting into it somehow. I can't say for sure what it is, but I'd try new or different water and a flush to rule the water out.
@@superfly4137 didn't know they had one! Haven't tried it.. So far this one is still working great and minimal stress or service needed. My fiance is part fish so we go through about a jug every other week!
how does self clean on the machine go

It's hot enough to steam that's for sure! I know experienced tea lovers need specific temperatures, but it's quite convenient for how fast it is 👍🏾
@@drugfreedave can you give me the link for that water dispenser that you bought so I can see it? And what’s the model number?
Did you get a discount since you kept the damaged unit from Amazon ?
Does it have a night light ?!
I have one like this, slightly different but the room temp button doesn’t even push down
Is a glass jug available? I hate plastic
The final is very funny
My home depot has primo
Do you know if you can turn off the led light ?. If i want room temp can u switch off the cool water and since its off will water come out?
I’m wondering about the light too
Switch is on the back on the right side of the front behind. The switches are usually shown by the part reaching up to show.

Can I use any type of water jug ?

Do you have the self cleaning version?

@@superfly4137 hmm, I'm not even sure - of it is I don't know about it!
Is there a way to turn that light off?
Yes, the switch is one of three rocker-toggles on the rear/back of the machine. Near the top.
