But nobody will ever top the heart and love that Toby gives me. I cried like a baby when I saw him return.
Doc Ock and Toby's reunion was so fucking heartwarming. My mom and I watched this on my birthday when it was released on Amazon in March. She grew up with Spiderman since the 1960s. She loved all 3 Spiderman, as did I. SPIDERMAN No Way Home has a special place in my heart as it was the last movie my mom and I got to watch together before she passed away 3 weeks after my 36th birthday. Now when I watch this movie, I think of how happy my mom and I were that day.
The three peters truly are brothers. Which to me without a doubt is what makes me love when Tobey stops Tom from killing Goblin. That's my little brother. I can't let him go down the same road I went. This is most certainly my favorite dramatic scene.
I don’t mind Tobey Peter acting a bit different. He was around 21 when we last saw him. His arc was completed in his series and he’s 40 now. It makes sense he would be a bit more outgoing and confident.
Even his frustration with Andrew and Tom trying to discuss what the Avengers are, shouting at them "How is this helping!?" makes complete sense. He's been Spiderman for alot longer than the other two so of course when the two start to get distracted of course he would lash out at them as never loses sight of the big picture being much more experienced and knows there isn't time to waste.
I was surprised how much I loved it. I've been very disappointed in the recent MCU post infinity war. I was not expecting them to actually complete unfinished arcs of characters. I also loved they made better use of the lizard than the amazing Spider-Man did.
Honestly this was the best theater experience I’ve ever had. Part of that could’ve been the fact that it was the first movie I went out to see in years, but even so. Every scene had the audience gasping, cheering, or tearing up. This movie is perfect to me idc
I have a few ideas on certain explanations: - In regards to Uncle Ben, I fully believe Aunt May is quoting Uncle ben when she says the iconic line. It doesn't sound like anything she'd naturally say, and Peter's response of "I know" implies that he's heard those exact words before. She wasn't teaching him that lesson, she was reminding him of it - For Electro being brought in, I've heard theories that he overheard Gwen say Peter (there's a shot of him waking up immediately after she says it). And due to how big a fan he was of Spider-man, it's possible that he put 2 and 2 together and realized that Spider-man's name is Peter Parker. This explains why he knew his name, but not what he looked like - When it comes to the points in time that they were taken from, most of them learned his identity shortly before dying, so that point was the only time that the spell could apply. For those who didn't die, it seems like they were taken from their universe's 2023 (MCU present day). Because Sandman didn't die in Spider-man 3, we can assume he's still alive, and maybe he's lost his ability to maintain his human form (or the multiverse trip messed him up a bit). I have a feeling that The Lizard is not taken from a time during TASM 1, but rather, further in the future. He talked about the events of that movie in the past tense, and the post credits scene showed Curt still had some lizard scales, so maybe he relapsed and was a victim of Peter 3 no longer pulling his punches (he may have even been the first) - For Zendaya's MJ, I've actually seen a video by _Implicitly Pretentious_ that delves into how the MCU adapted what comic MJ represented. Back when she was first introduced, she was a party girl who rebelled against expectations of the time. But times have changed, and the MCU's MJ maintains that rebelliousness, just in a modern context. I hope that in the next trilogy, Peter adopts MJ's humour (with his own spin), because it's very fitting for Spider-man - Apparently, Electro looks and acts differently is to do with the energy in the MCU and how it's affecting him. Seems a bit iffy, and a part of me would have enjoyed seeing him reprise the kind of character he played in TASM 2 for character consistency
I have a theory that Electro tapped into magic when he entered the MCU and simply didn't know it. He said that the energy was different and magic is a form of energy. His appearance can align with his teeth changing in The Amazing Spider-man 2 and we simply couldn't make out the detail given his glowing blue form at the time.
@@trevturp7687 That’s not really a flaw. Different energies and vibrations in different universes has been a staple in comics ever since The Flash of Two Worlds, which invented the multiverse concept to superheroes way back in the early silver age. I feel like Tobey's role was more to let Tom and Andrew shine from the conception. The Raimi movies are widely beloved; the TASM movies, on the other hand, got a mixed reception, and Tom's time in the suit (until this point) seemed to always just be compared with the Raimi flicks.

I think you’re right about Max changing appearance because of the universe. It kind of alludes to that when he gets there and mentions how the electricity in that universe feels different, meaning things we think are absolute, are not, across like universes.
They gave a little explanation as to why Electro acts like that, the electricity in that universe is different, it’s stronger. It makes him more powerful, it makes him alpha lol

Great review! The only thing I disagree with is when you said we only say Aunt may for 2 and a half movies. I’d say it’s closer to 3 full movies. But that’s the only disagreement I have with you. We saw her in Civil War for a few minutes. Spider-Man Homecoming, Far From Home, and No Way Home. Having her around for a few years definitely made her death more impactful. Way more impactful than both Uncle Bens. I honestly didn’t see her death coming. Peter being without any friends or loved ones to end the movie is just a opening for another trilogy. We had the high school trilogy. Hopefully we get a college trilogy and maybe even an adult trilogy! I wouldn’t mind having a total of 9 Spider-Man movies starring Tom. With him being a part of the MCU and Sony creating their own universe, they definitely can come up with enough stories for 6 more films. Great video, Vee!
So I think some of the issues can be sort of solved with some off notes in the movie So it's implied that Green goblin told electro that Spiderman is Green goblin but he doesn't know what he looks like so he would know but not know Electro mentions the electricity feels different on that earth so blue to yellow and when he turned into electro his teeth and shit were all fixed up when he fell into the eels and we never saw what he would look like again with out the powers I also think he rebuilt his body in an image he wanted when he came I to the movie
Uncle Ben in mcu like his first scene ever of spider-man in civil war is legit him talking about if you have powers and you don’t use them then the people closest to you get hurt
I saw some fanart of Ned as the Hobgoblin with his costume being a yellow hoodie and blue jeans with his varsity hoodie, and the Goblin's mask put back together, repainted and set-up with glowing eyes
One thing I would have done regarding Uncle Ben: put a photo of Stan Lee and Marisa Tomei somewhere in the background and let Tom Holland look at it for a couple of seconds. It would be a fitting tribute to make the late Stan Lee the Uncle Ben of this universe.
What if the reason electro looks different is because he isnt the electro from the amazing spiderman2 hes a electro from a similar universe where he knows spidermans identity but hasn't seen his face.
Honestly I always love when Spider-Man loses his crap beats the crap out of the bad guy then stops realizing that not who he is as to me it shows he's human (Or just passionately beating the crap out of the villian) 3 examples: Spider-Man Ps4 at the finial boss fight Ps4 Spider-Man Book with Blood Spider No Way Home against the Green Goblin
I think the reused footage of sandman and lizard works really well, but I can still tell that sandman is wet from him being in a puddle in the original scene
I loved Spiderman No way home but I don't consider it to be the best spiderman movie ever made alot of the plot felt rushed and forced in the beginning with them having Spiderman on trial and then turning the plot to Peter stressing about college out of nowhere. It felt like the beginning portion of the movie didn't matter until it reached introduction of the Villains and the former spiderman. I love No way home for what it did but Into the Spiderman not only did it first but did it better and too me that might be the best multiverse Spiderman movie ever made. I have watched that movie 6 times and every time it feels completely new
the beginning portion didn't matter..? you understand people can have stress from more than one source right? peter 1 was dealing with endgame, mysterio doxxing him, and college admissions BECAUSE his business as spider-man affected his innocent friends lol
@@randomt800kiddo2 my problem is that it really didn't flow properly at all and because of that it felt rush and took me out of the plot and no duh people can have stress from different sources but if you're telling a story and you don't make it coherent enough so people outside of yourself can understand people will get really confused and in turn your story will make no sense

I don’t know if I like that this director will direct the next Tom Holland Spider-Man movie. I wanted a different director for the next movie but it is their decision they made so I accept it.
For electro it’s just that new clean tony stark energy. It makes sense because they we’re using electricity from eels to power whatever so I think the use of that power kinda gunked it up but that new clean renewable energy would def clean up Max dillans look
You were right about the Matt and happy scene it was a call back to the daredevil movie but they deleted it and Michelle is a much better character then maryjane
Also the great power quote wasn’t even uncle Ben’s to begin with. It was just a text bubble at the end of the original spiderman comic not said by anyone but the author. They just made uncle Ben say it in the movies because it was an iconic quote that defines spiderman

@@shinkaiatsuya950 right and from my head Canon I think an easy explanation as to why they couldn't use this villain or that villain from previous movies is that dr.strange stopped the spell as fast as he could. So, Venom from spiderman 3 or Harry from either Andrew or tobey universe couldn't show up. That's what I always thought atleast.
Ok To be honest. I wrote off your other video cause of the title. Now I know what I’m getting into, I’ll give it a chance. Thanks Vee Infuso.
I love that they got rid of The Green Goblin’s mask
I think you’re right about Max changing appearance because of the universe. It kind of alludes to that when he gets there and mentions how the electricity in that universe feels different, meaning things we think are absolute, are not, across like universes.
“Trust your Tingle” lol Loved the Video
They gave a little explanation as to why Electro acts like that, the electricity in that universe is different, it’s stronger. It makes him more powerful, it makes him alpha lol
You could still have secret wars prelude with the trio,
just need bunch more spidermen - maybe even have one of them be the carnage spider and other be the six armed one.
Doing a casting call:
The kid who plays Kenny from Cobra Kai should be Miles Morales (or static shock)
I expected a mention of the morbius post-credit scene
I love this movie a lot.
Trust your tingle this is my favorite Spider-Man movie
Electro is blue in comics around 2012-2015 Amazing comics and also the Ultimate comics.
They used old footage from Spider-Man 3 for Sandman. I heard.
Wish ppl had not tuned out to your last spiderman one. Really makes you wonder abt the attention span of some ppl. This movie was much needed on the fan service, and service done right
Great review!
So I think some of the issues can be sort of solved with some off notes in the movie
So it's implied that Green goblin told electro that Spiderman is Green goblin but he doesn't know what he looks like so he would know but not know
Electro mentions the electricity feels different on that earth so blue to yellow and when he turned into electro his teeth and shit were all fixed up when he fell into the eels and we never saw what he would look like again with out the powers I also think he rebuilt his body in an image he wanted when he came I to the movie
Uncle Ben in mcu like his first scene ever of spider-man in civil war is legit him talking about if you have powers and you don’t use them then the people closest to you get hurt
I was if it ever hit Tobey’s Spider-Man that he’s basically the strongest person on the planet also I love you’re Videos Vee
I saw some fanart of Ned as the Hobgoblin with his costume being a yellow hoodie and blue jeans with his varsity hoodie, and the Goblin's mask put back together, repainted and set-up with glowing eyes
As fan of Wings I love that Lowell(Thomas Haden Church) plays Sandman
Idc what people say, I love this movie so much 😭 it’s not perfect though
same
One thing I would have done regarding Uncle Ben: put a photo of Stan Lee and Marisa Tomei somewhere in the background and let Tom Holland look at it for a couple of seconds. It would be a fitting tribute to make the late Stan Lee the Uncle Ben of this universe.
What if the reason electro looks different is because he isnt the electro from the amazing spiderman2 hes a electro from a similar universe where he knows spidermans identity but hasn't seen his face.
I love all 3 versions of Spider-Man
This movie was fan service in the beat possible ways. It was truly a once in a lifetime event
Honestly I always love when Spider-Man loses his crap beats the crap out of the bad guy then stops realizing that not who he is as to me it shows he's human (Or just passionately beating the crap out of the villian)
3 examples:
Spider-Man Ps4 at the finial boss fight
Ps4 Spider-Man Book with Blood Spider
No Way Home against the Green Goblin
I think the reused footage of sandman and lizard works really well, but I can still tell that sandman is wet from him being in a puddle in the original scene
Great video!
Trust your Tingle 🕷
Spider-Man into the spider verse takes the cake for me
I loved Spiderman No way home but I don't consider it to be the best spiderman movie ever made alot of the plot felt rushed and forced in the beginning with them having Spiderman on trial and then turning the plot to Peter stressing about college out of nowhere.
That Always sunny clip.. I felt that
the animated into the spiderverse is wayyyyyy better
this movie was the best thing that came from 2021
Agree with everything. It’s just sad ppl nitpick it apart. Like u said the impossible became possible. A TH-cam fantasy video went to the big screen. Gotta appreciate all these actors still alive to even do this and created a once in a lifetime vibe. Not to be dramatic but the year we had in 2020 and to return to the theaters again to witness greatness. Best experience ever. And why is fan service a bad thing? Imma paying fan. Service me. Give me what I want. My only nitpick is I’m not big on the Tom Holland suit in this one. Give me the OG homecoming suit or debut the new one sooner in the movie. All 3 should be wearing the red/blue suit.
Peter 1's sacrifice in this movie reminded me more of Angel's sacrifice from Angel S1's 'I will remember you'.
Something about the Peter scene (Tobey) reunion with Doc Oc. Nostalgic.
May giving the "Great Power" speech was great, because that's the biggest thing that's been missing from Holland's Spider-Man.
This movie is the magic in cinema that hasn't been there for possibly decades.
Nah, this is something else
Lol
Toby wasn’t playing Spider-Man. Toby was playing Peter Parker there’s a difference.
yep
Buddy even in the comics peter doesn't act like that, tbh comic peter acted more like Andrew's peter minus the skateboard
@@thetempleton6622 No what Andrew’s performance captured was the ‘banter’ he finally brought to the screen Spidey’s taunting and baiting the bad guy. He had the Spidey motor mouth and it was a thing of beauty. But no I don’t agree with you Toby was playing older wiser Peter. Andrew was playing Peter after ASM #121. Toby was playing Peter from Spidey from My Life Story.
You're not wrong about Matt and Happy. They even had a moment where Happy says "I'm a little 'Foggy' on the details" when asked about the Stark tech, which was deleted. Hopefully we see it in the upcoming extended release.
Reason why Sandman is just….. sand, it’s because the actor couldn’t film on set because of Covid reasons
( and the same as sad for lizard )
In my personal opinion I think Spider-Man no home has the best Spider-Man story/plot
The scene with daredevil and happy was ment to be like the daredevil movie they even tried to make a reference to it
You put my thoughts into words. Great video.
I think Sandman and Lizard lost their ability to become their human form, while Electro gains his ability to become his human form.
Am still waiting on a video related to Brave and the Bold.
I'm still a little bit of fence sitter on Tom Holland but
I couldn't agree with you Mir about Tobey being the best Peter & Andrew being the best spider man
🧡🦇
Do you think they’ll finally make a Spider-Man 4 and an amazing Spider-Man 3
Great video
Willem Dafoe should play Vince McMahon in a movie
It’s a great movie. I’m just saying man, I wish andrew and tobeys entrances were cooler than Ned’s grandmas house! They could’ve done something cool with it!
I think Andrew is the Spider-Man of The Amazing Spider-Man comics in modern day mixed with Ultimate, Tobey is the Classic Spider-Man comics mixed with some Ultimate comics, Tom is the Ultimate Spider-Man
This movie made me reevaluate the prior two MCU Spidey flicks. I like them far more now as an extended origin arc for Spider-Man.
...Iron Spider suit still sucks, though
I don’t know if I like that this director will direct the next Tom Holland Spider-Man movie. I wanted a different director for the next movie but it is their decision they made so I accept it.
One thing I still kinda wish this movie did, was play the Spider-Man theme song.
For electro it’s just that new clean tony stark energy. It makes sense because they we’re using electricity from eels to power whatever so I think the use of that power kinda gunked it up but that new clean renewable energy would def clean up Max dillans look
Trust the tingle lol love ya brother 🦋💜
You were right about the Matt and happy scene it was a call back to the daredevil movie but they deleted it and Michelle is a much better character then maryjane
M'y favorites movie of all Time PS m'y favorites Spider Man Andrew Garfield
“Trust your tingle” 😊
imagine the world where they say fuck it with any other superhero movie and just reboot all three spidermen franchises.
Batman and Spider-Man are my two faves
This movie had no business being as damn good as it was.
Possibly up there with Spider-Man 2 as the greatest (live-action) Spider-Man movie ever made.
Also the great power quote wasn’t even uncle Ben’s to begin with. It was just a text bubble at the end of the original spiderman comic not said by anyone but the author. They just made uncle Ben say it in the movies because it was an iconic quote that defines spiderman
