It was good to get to know you a little better and hear your thoughts on your creative processes. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your projects and learning lots as well.
    Congrats on the encouraging milestone!

I'm really sorry for your loss, but I hope it's some small comfort that you already know what the other side of grieving looks like, so I hope you get there gently! I also now have a vaguely parasocial connection to you simply because you graduated in 2020 like I did --- pour one out for the 2020 grads. Thanks for sharing your answers! Looking forward to your future arts.

AH! Another pandemic grad. What field are you in? My classmates and I were all trying to finish up our Industrial Design capstone projects without any access to the facilities that we relied on. What an awful time. I hope things are looking better for you now than they were then. Thank you for your condolences. Things are getting better every day.

I genuinely am curious why most fiber arts have such a preponderance of ugly craft works when to try to learn about them.
I know this sounds mean, and thats not at all what I am intending. I think there's some kind of Internet effect with fiber arts which is just a bit different somehow.
You can look for information about this or that sculpture technique or glasswork and ... Okay ... You're going to see lots of people showing off works which only their grandmother could love. But it won't take long to find a scholar talking about some extraordinarily beautiful or interesting museum piece.
This just doesn't happen much with the fiber arts. Some of the best information I have found will have examples by this or that fiber artist and the best you can say about it aesthetically is that it has the quaint charming awkwardness of folk art.
    I find this very odd.

Welcome back Darcy!! It's really great to see u back and good to know u are copping well. (the next part in read more with tw)
I really don't have a favourite TH-camr but I was so surprised to find myself waiting for you, turns out u are really similar to me (might be a bad thing if u know how quirky and weird I am but I don't mean it in that way) I didn't really know much about you except for ur personality I saw in ur past videos. Like from being a bunny person (now that I think about it u even look like one! You kinda gave me the vibes of Soobin from TXT) to not liking chartreuse 🫥. Also have multiple hobbies 🤧 that's a pain I have so so so much material laying around and I have used them maybe 2 times max.
Tho I saw ur community post but I wasn't sure what to ask... Now that u made a joke about "reading tea leaves"
What Hogwarts house are u? (My guess would be a fellow Hufflepuff mainly cuz I don't know any 🙃)
So the additional part that was supposed to be in the first para:
I lost a close cousin of mine when I was in 3rd grade, he used to stay next to my grandparent's house and was 2 years older than me so we basically spent our whole summer vacation together. I don't remember much about it but the last memory I have of him is him laying on a moveable bed, not being able to wake up or move on his own. A urine bag hanging on the side and a nurse being with him 24/7. This is how I spent the summer of 3rd grade with him. Saw him get weaker and skinner every week to finally passing away a month later. Still makes me cry to think about him. I clearly remember us playing Uno with our parents and we would cheat to make either of us win.
(Shared this to hopefully make u feel okay cuz talked about your cousin)
Idk how I wrote so much being an introvert in rl and online. If u read it thanks a lot 🩷

Hi!! Thank you so much for leaving such a long comment. I am also very much an introvert irl and online. How I'm able to post videos is beyond me. THANK YOU for validating my hatred of chartreuse. Ever since I learned about it on an episode of Blues Clues as a child, I've had the grudge.
I'm ashamed to admit, I have not seen every Harry Potter movie. I think Goblet of Fire is the last one I saw. I have a friend that's reading the books right now, so that's tempting to me. BUT-- I took the *official* quiz and it said I'm a Slytherin.... I disagree. I definitely am not interested in deceiving people. The quiz didn't even give me any questions about that. One of my bff's is a huge HP fan and agrees that I can't be a Slytherin and must be either a Hufflepuff or a Ravenclaw.
Thank you, also, for your story about your cousin. I'm sorry for your loss. I mentioned in the video I recorded but didn't publish that I watched a video about grief in which the person said that hearing stories from other people was surprisingly helpful. It's good not to feel alone in this.
