since you’re top stitching and it is a reversible bag leave the opening in between the straps and when you top stitch everything will be flawless 😊 and won’t have to hand stitch at the bottom
First time watching one of your videos, I’m now a subscriber. For the ghost boo banner, if you have a die cutting machine such as a Cricut, Scan and Cut or Silhouette, use it to cut out the B O O and the banner pieces. Tip when cutting felt with your cutting machine: cut a piece of transfer tape the size of your mat and place the transfer tape on top of your mat with the sticky side facing up. This will keep your mat clean because all the felt fuzzies will be stuck on the transfer tape. I look forward to watching more of your videos in the future.
I love all these projects thank you so much for the in depth tutorials, patterns, and supply lists! You made it easy to sew some fun projects gor Halloween
Hi I love your page. Great ideas with little fuss. I’d like to make 2 comments. Remember if you are making a mess with starch already, you might as well soak some of that pumpkin string and wrap it around a stick or pencil to make your curly stems. Also I sew pointe shoes and when you want to darn the toe it is thru heavily glued fabric . We use waxed dental floss. I’m thinking that may help in closing the pumpkins. It is very strong and glides through very nicely.
I'm going to make the pumkin I would like to see a video on how to make floating ghosts from old sheetsand how to make easy bags with different ways of closing❤
We make Halloween bags and they get filled with fun kid stuff (not candy) for children in our community. STITCH, in Durango, Colarado, sponsors this every year. So much fun!
When quilting the Economy block, why did you change your sewing machine foot from the stitch-in-the-ditch foot to your even-feed foot when you stitched around the center square? Thank You
No reason in particular - I just use my 1/4” foot 90% of the time - not a huge fan of my stitch in the ditch foot (I know many will gasp - I need to play with it more)
You could use any fabric you like instead of the placemat pieces, you could applique icons like ghosts, pumpkins, etc. you could also sew squares or strips of fabric and cut to the placemat size - lots of options! Have fun 🧵🎃👻
It is mine! It’s from the Monthly Placemat fabric series I did for Riley Blake Designs 2 years ago and this was the October fabric. You might still be able to find it 🤞🏻🤞🏻👻
What other Halloween tutorials do you want to see?

sorry that is for the trick or treat bags
Good idea for reversible bags! For non-reversible I’ll admit to sewing the bottom on my machine
I don't think it's very noticable using the machine on the bottom of the bag. The ease of top stitching with the machine beats hand stitches any day 😂
@@crystallicausi189 I'm a "use the machine whenever possible" girl myself and agree with you!
That's how I put my bags together. I always wondered why I've never seen a tutorial done that way.
I love the trick or treat bag. I want to make them for my grandsons.
Lucky grandsons! 🎃
So glad I stumbled on your tutorial today while watching election stuff. You are so much more fun. Love the printer and projects. Subscribed! 💙
😂 welcome!
Love the staples on the pattern for the letters.
It’s a game changer for sure! 🤩

Both great ideas - I’ve used dental floss to get photos out of those old sticky photo albums but never for sewing. Will give it a try - thx!
This is cool. I like to make pillows and blankets. ❤
Happy sewing! 🧵

Great idea! I’d want a bag full of thread and notions 😂
You can use hole punch and pins. 😮
A milners needle would be helpful to put the rib lines through to the opposite side.any long needle will work.
Absolutely! Happy sewing! 🎃
I’m making my great granddaughter a bag with trim and embroidered treat or treat on it with glow in the dark thread
That sounds like fun! I haven’t used glow in the dark thread yet
pumpkins in plaid and gingham. or cordoroy. wide and narrow cordoroy.

I have a question if you don’t have placemat panels or blocks what are some things that you can use as an alternative?
You could use any fabric you like instead of the placemat pieces, you could applique icons like ghosts, pumpkins, etc. you could also sew squares or strips of fabric and cut to the placemat size - lots of options! Have fun 🧵🎃👻
Is the halloween fabric your line? If not whose is it please. I love your videos.
It is mine! It’s from the Monthly Placemat fabric series I did for Riley Blake Designs 2 years ago and this was the October fabric. You might still be able to find it 🤞🏻🤞🏻👻
