I have made numerous bandanas in many different styles, including the over the collar style, but I really like your method of measuring for the channel. I make bandanas for my two dogs, but when my other dog had cancer I made her a new bandana for every chemo session. I did use my Cricut to put sayings on each of the bandanas. They were a hit with her oncologist and all the technicians that looked after her….everyone wanted to check out Tia’s bandana & saying of the day. Sadly she lost her battle, but I am so thankful that she got lots of extra attention wearing her bandanas
To be looked for in a way like you do and did for your fury angel is the most precious feeling a heart can get❤...even reading this is healing, thank you so much for sharing!
Oh that little black dog that showed up at first looks like my little black dog so much. That's probably what made me watch this. Thanks for the pattern ideas.
😂 you’re very welcome! Often those have been live but if they aren’t, I’m with you - edit and get to the heart of the matter! (Hope you’re having a good day tho! 😉)
I make reversible bandanas with two different fabric designs as part of my bussiness called Dress my Pet. But I learned a new way for not having what you called “bird nest”. Thank you so much for this tip, I will be using it in my sewing.
@@snorkiefilms9457 Are you in the Portland, Oregon area? Not sure where they got him specifically but they are now up in Washington state. Yorkies are so cute!
@ArtistTaraReed I'm in WA my dog is a yorkie mix I have the mother and other 2 brothers we gave the 3rd puppy to the owners of the father of the litter they sold him without telling us after they'd said they would keep him that being said the dog would be 5 years old by now
I’ve been looking for some dog related sewing projects, these look perfect! I’m a beginner and the instructions are really clear. Thanks for sharing. Can’t wait to give some of these a try. 🐶
ohhhh. Is that why I get birds nests! Thank you!!, for showing how to not get them! Your bandanas are much easier than mine. Thank you for doing this video!!

I’m thinking “snake” is a typo but you noticed the size folded over weren’t the same on each side at 10:35? Total mistake on my part! I took out the right side (I think that was the one I did too short) and redid it. Lmk if that was the issue…
@@ArtistTaraReed so glad you noticed the mistake and owned up to it. Watching videos my pet peeve is people who make a mistake and then pretend it didn’t happen. Makes me think, “do I really trust instructions from someone who messes up and doesn’t know it?” You explain things very well. I think your instructions will be easy to follow.
Why are people still using heat erasable pens? The mark comes back in cooler temperatures. Why not just use pointy water soluble markers? That's what I use and it works like a charm !!!

So sorry for your loss but it sounds like you helped a lot of people and dogs with your efforts 🥰
I am so sorry. I know how heartbreaking this is. I am happy she had the extra attention. You are an amazing mom!

Great project! 🐶
I love your designs. I made some of the dodo bags and they are much cuter in person than on the channel. Thanks for sharing your talents.
You're very welcome! 🧵🐶
I’ve been looking for something totally different to make, and this is it! My youngest daughter lives in Australia and has 2 dogs. She will love it!

Your neighbors dog is so cute ☺️
He is such a good boy🤍🩵
He really is! Sadly they moved so I lost my cute model 😢
@ArtistTaraReed
Do you happen to know where they moved or their name on Facebook? Their dog seems to look like my dogs long lost twin brother

FYI ------ The "Heat Erasable" pens, show up again if the item gets cold. So you know.
Yes - recently did an “egg on my face” video about that. Thx for making sure I knew!
What’s the name of that steel thing at 29:00 and where do you get them?
It's a bias tape maker - here's my Amazon affiliate link - amzn.to/3NHVTGZ

What would a person ask for these items if selling?
I’m not sure… I’d search on Etsy or go to a craft fair to get an idea of what a going rate is
At 10.35 the channel is snake on the right than the left . How do you correct that. Thank you

@@JudyHeald Thanks Judy - I figure we learn from mistakes as much as perfect instructions so I just roll with it!
You measured left side 2.5 and right side 2 on the 12" square.
@@marysickler3913 you weren't supposed to notice that!! Whoops! Was supposed to be 2.5" on both sides - sorry about that!
