Love how these entities are apex predators but are actually quite vulnerable. I’d love to see a sort of battle between humans and entities like in Infestation but less one sided

Wouldn’t it be crazy to play a DOOM style FPS taking place in A-SYNCH labs equipping various weapons and gear killing monsters which have escaped from The Backrooms? Then the second half of the game you go INTO The Backrooms and hunt down monsters and kill them there? Sounds cool af. Hope it happens one day.

I think the entity didnt got damaged. In fact that his skull that is meant to be sheild. And when the harpoon shot apprently it landed on his skull which is a uselsss spot to hit and wont even kill. So probably the harpoon guy basically got dead.
I think the entity ATE the harpoon. The entity probably had its insides ravaged by the harpoon and died afterwards, hence why the person recording was able to return the video to researchers with that ending message. I doubt they’d be able to write that with the entity supposedly chowing down on them.

You know what would be cool? If someone was in the backrooms for a long time and managed to tame an entity. Or the scientists exploring the backrooms put a camera on the entity to see where they go
Considering that we’ve seen this species have several different sub forms from adapting to their environments, I would not be surprised if they get a centaur like posture, an extra torso that’s homaniod with human arms. Like possibly showing more potential to be more advanced, like eventually forming a hive that encompasses every area in the backrooms. Of course they would most likely feast on other entities and adapt to them, as well as humans to a degree. That is if their evolution causes them to form different factions, maybe different skin colors to help spot who’s who. I know a big creative stretch, but like Xenomorphs, adapting to the environment is how any creature survives.
The weapon choice is very intriguing, a harpoon? I guess it's just not what comes to mind when taking out things like entities in the Backrooms. The trap in the entity trap video also used spikes in it's design. Perhaps Backroom entities like the Araena Membri are weak to spikes/pointed weapons.
well a harpoon makes sense because bullets make little damage, but a harpoon is a one shot pierce attack, that stays and may cause further bleed/damage
Anyway, as for damage and caution-wise, I'd rather go with a submachine gun equipped with a long bayonet. _(Nah, what am I talking about? I'd rather NEVER PUT A TOE into the Backrooms, lol...)_
The logs of an urban explorer sounds right for something like the backrooms. I can imagine someone doing what they think is a normal urban exploration in a build and then ends up in the backrooms. only difference is they survive and its a urban explorers dream to have endless liminal space.
I dont know how I feel about entities in the backrooms. It feels like they shouldnt be there as the horror of the backrooms is being lost in a human like environment that is devoid of them. The Backrooms is an entity itself.

Not apex, the thing we saw in the poolrooms stairwell is the apex predator.
Adaptable predators but usually stick to a base form that is decent but a glass cannon when against hard force.
