Basically the lock pushes you into the door and if you are at the right spot, it works. But it's a specific set up. Astral Spiff speed ran this game and he explains that glitch pretty well, but its been a bit since I watched that particular video.
I feel like there were so many parts where messed up but somehow your mechanics were so good and u had all the passwords locked in so u were still able to pull it off. I wouldn’t be surprised if I saw him hit a back to back world record
Tip: The part with the VHS tapes can be done WAY faster. Run back and forth to the fire alarms and he can't hear you for some time. It runs to the alarm and stays there until it's off. You wouldn't have died either mid-run.

There is some speedrun tech which explains all of this! Shift jumping is the process of letting go of shift while midair to let the stamina timer reset. The early skip is explained by spamming E as you lean- this is supposed to kick you off but you can abuse it to gain momentum.
29:19 personally this creeps alot. I saw a dream when i was kid with very similar place like this. There was me and my family members and other kid who chased me and sometimes he just stoppd running and started to sprint again very fuking fast. The dream had similar buildings and the landscape was very similar!!
Not infinite, is you shift+W->jump and release Shift you carry the speed without losing stamina/ and infinite Stam when chased too 🤷🏻♂️ For Sanity idk tho

If you are fast enough to not lose him within 10 seconds of encounter.
