The transition into Old Sharleyan always gets me! The stark white colours, the Greek like aesthetics, the music, the song and the camera swoops!! Looking fwd to your reactions to EW (and maybe the rest of ShB of you're still planning on making more videos for it).
Shadowbringers trailer at release was such a mind fuck and spawned so many theories . My personal at the time was that "Master Matoya" was a title the Y'shtola inherited, but they also didn't show her face until I think the full trailer, and there were 2 shorter version before that, so lots of speculation on "Master Matoya". And of course there's Minfilia and all the theories around her that ultimately proved wrong, lol. By comparison Endwalker is much more straight forward. I do love that while ShB trailer used scenes/jobs from previous expansions, EW did the same thing but with the music instead. It's a neat way to reuse an idea without it feeling old.

6:17 Thats actually not an unpopular opinion a lot of people prefer the SHB trailer too myself included, the job switching and the flashback scenes were my favorite part.
After you play through EW you will feel differently about the trailer, but I agree with you mostly. EW trailer song > ShB trailer song, but ShB trailer in total > EW trailer in total.
Don't feel bad, it's a very common sentiment that while the Endwalker trailer is extremely good it's not as good as the Shadowbringers trailer. That trailer was just on another level.
Honestly the Shadowbringers trailer feels just ~*chef kiss*~ perfect. I still think it’s the best trailer. I’ve never felt that much hype from a trailer before. EW as an expansion itself though, holyyyy crap, buckle up!!
Doesn't matter how many times I see this, when you hit the key change in "Footfalls" and the counter-melody comes in, I'm going to tear up.
Shadowbringers is my favorite trailer; Endwalker is my favorite expansion. My only regret is that I can't do it blind all over again.
