@@catsarecute7447 The original armored core run is one of the best most challenging series of games to ever exist. My advice is spent a lot of time toying with the builds and statistics and play styles before falling into the meta.
My inner obsessive-compulsive really wishes you could get that train part without failing the mission. My poor, innocent mission success quota... Huge thanks for these videos by the way! I've been playing through the series for the first time these past couple weeks - aside from some of the top 10 arena fights in Phantasma, I loved the PS1 games and now that the control scheme has wormed its way into my head, I'm *really* enjoying AC2 - and I definitely would not have found a lot of these without your footage.
some guy on a forum from 2004 said he got the hidden part without failing the mission... but he didn't have 100% completion and was searching for what he missed. So he could have been wrong. Right now i have 38 success and 1 failure for missions to get full completion%. I really wonder if you can get 100% success rate AND 100% achievement. this is the struggle with old niche games - not enough info about them online
Ok i just did some testing for a while. I tried grabbing the part right as the train exits the map (inside the red square before you instafail). standing right on the red line, grabbing the part right as it is almost out of grab range. doing it like this gets the train to play his "im leaving" voiceline that happens JUST before you win, but it gets interrupted by Nell telling you mission failed. So i think it's impossible to take it and not lose, unless the timing is frame-perfect or something, or if there's an undiscovered glitch with the mission.
@@froge_ Haha, yeah I tried the exact same thing as well - stood on the platform with the part until just about the very last second , took the part and jumped off, but nope. Seems this one really does require failing the mission. Really frustrating, but that's just how it goes I guess. One of the PSX games had a similiar case with a warehouse you had to protect if I remember correctly. There's always that _one_ guy on some old forum that claimed to have found a solution, isn't there? Yet they never seem to go into sufficient specifics though, hmmm.
I think if you finish the game first and load the save after, when you can replay all missions, and then do it, your rating stays 100%. Can't confirm yet but there was one like that in AC1 and I did it like that and have 100%
@@spaljenimaslacak7663 I just tried this right now, can confirm it doesn't work. I grabbed this part after completing the game and hadn't failed a mission prior. 37 sorties, 36 successful 1 failed.
How to jump high enough to reach the part in the test arena: Press R2+L2+R3 to gain infinite energy for a minute.
It's nice to see people still enjoy AC2 in 2022 :D
Great tutorial video too. Thank you!
Always useful to have a guide like this. My memory isn't what it used to be.
Same. I remembered most of the parts but I'll have to get the others in the end game.
Thanks for this bro, glad to see people still love ac2
i got this game a week ago, its pretty awesome

I do have to commend you for your dedication to the starter build, I ended up in quad legs
Can’t believe the HOYBV2500 was just sitting there… I’ve spent hours searching for it as a kid, found every part except de last two. 🤦🏾♂️
Your movement is so clean 🤘

Amazing video! ありがとう😆💕✨
5:19 this one requires an head with a certain level of hacking
You might wanna add that the HOY-BV2500 requires a level hacking head
I only found the gun & blade on my own. I had to look up how to find boosters & missile launcher
Now do Another Age’s hidden parts
Jajajaja, hoy me lo pasé y quería ver cuántas partes ocultas tiene este juego
Thanks bud
Great help!
I'm wondering why your text is in English but clearly she's speaking Japanese? Is this the Japanese version ???
Its an undub, English game with a patch to restore japanese voice acting.
