  • At the May 17, 2014 "Symposium on Tick-borne Diseases", Dr. Richard Horowitz provided the attendees with a detailed list of contributing factors which can cause a delay in recovery from Lyme disease. The discussion follows his excellent book of the same title which is available from major booksellers. The discussion is not limited to only those patients with Lyme disease - it is relevant for any person suffering from a chronic illness. The discussion is approximately an hour and a half long. The "Symposium on Tick-borne Diseases" was hosted by the Lyme Disease Association of the Eastern Shore of Maryland, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which provides educational resources on tick-borne diseases. Please consider supporting our work: LDAESM, P.O. Box 5360, Salisbury, Maryland 21802. Thank you!

Miss Rose I listen to this guy over and over. Each time I pick up more and more. I have a Rife Machine GB4000 with a 3.1 amplifier. I make my on lipisomal Vitamin C with Complex B and glutathione. Detox, Detoxification is the key. When he says you can't get better and faster than you can detox he is not kidding! I have my life back! I didn't have health ins. So I had to figure out for myself the best way I could afford to get better. I believed I could and GOD blessed me with information and a desire to start and keep trying. I am well and I have to stay on a strict diet and regime but I live and I live my life.

Because I thought I had lyme (diagnosed by natural Dr)the hospital (Sanford in ND) diagnosed me with numerous mental illnesses and tried to have me committed. They based it on ridiculous number of lies- that they did get caught in, refused to allow me to see my medical records, said biofilm did not exist, tried to keep me from any outside contact ( restricting phone use), owned my lawyer who refused to get my med records or allow me any witnesses, and were going to court mandate me to be forced medicated before hearing. After leaving I was diagnosed with lyme and babesia through Igenx. And all the above is not even the crazy parts of the story. It was only through a miracle that I could smuggle a letter out to the judge that I was court ordered to be released.

I have had day and night sweats for yrs and that makes drs here I n Mn suspect cancer not tick diseases. So many times I was treated like I was frequent flyer. I am to the point of barily being able to walk much less function. All the yrs of suffering due to medical staff vanity. Amazing! I had an EM rash after tick removal. I was sick fast but had no knowledge of tick borne infections. Once I knew some infection went systemic, I went to my Dr. he saw the rash and put me on Doxycycline- in a couple of days I was so sick that I stopped taking it bc I went into shock. I refused going to ER, fast forward a couple of years. I still had no actual dx, but unlike other drs, my primary kept me on doxy. After doing much research, I stated pulsing the abx and natural herbs. A few years later, I was hit by a car, while in my van at a stop. Not until we went to trial we my medical records pulled and I was told I had Lyme and other tick borne infections..... ha! Funny, how I was never told this when I was actually sick!

Great doctor! How much does he charge for treatment? Does he at least take a small percent of charity cases? I have been lucky once to find the BEST LLMD ever who after learning I was awarded full disabilty by SSDI for Advanced Lyme, said he would bill Medicare, who of course he knew would refuse to pay. He then charged me just $25 per visit. Unfortunately, he was tipped off that the "guideline mafia" were going to hit him, so he had to close down his practice to flee. He is now working as regular doctor at a hospital in another state in order to save up enough funds to reopen in one of the New England states where he can safely treat Lyme patients. I now cannot get treatment, but at minimum, ANY LLMD who cares at all about this epidemic should at minimum help the poor to die with as little pain and suffering as possible, if unwilling to take some charity cases. How can any doctor who truly cares about the sick, turn their backs on the poor? Furthermore, are any of the larger Lyme Support Groups even estimating how many poor have already died from lack of proper diagnosis and treatment? I have never even seen this mentioned on ILADS website. The poor MUST be included if there is to be a total victory, ever. I am sure they comprise the bulk of those infected, but never diagnosed. Omitting such a huge chunk of the total is self-defeating. Also, when will any national support group decide to start an education campaign to inform those too unfortunate to have access to MDs who would even treat the intial tick bite of those lucky enough to have found one. I sat in a ER waiting area of a hospital serving mainly the poor and heard the SECURITY GUARD turn away a man who brought his daughter who had just been bitten, because she had no Bull's Eye rash! Once inside the eR myself, I overheard two more very ill patients ask the doctor if they could have Lyme and were told absolutely not, even though they had classic symptoms. I tried to whisper over to one nearest to me to go to another doctor as he very well could have Lyme and got read the riot act by a nurse! Also, when she went take blood samples from me, I warned her that I have very small veins and needed a pediatric needle and that I had Babesiosis, which is a biohazard. She returned with the largest gauge needle she could find, jammed it into my vein and blew it open. She then took a tantrum and threw the needle and blood all over me and the surrounding area in the bay. I told her to call for a biohazard cleanup and she said I was crazy and there was no such disease as Babwhatever. The attending physician also claimed she had no knowledge of it! This is what goes on in poor neighborhood ERs.

+Lila Dove *hugs* Its so hard to get well with this disease if you can't afford doctors that do not accept insurance (good reasons not to, but it kind of sucks) and they cost like $500-650 for the first visit. It also sucks that doctors have to be SO careful about treating it because they can lose their practices. :/ Its just terrible.
I have yet to find a doctor who will treat me, my naturopath has no training on it and can't prescribe antibiotics. I tried an integrative medicine doctor and he pretty much told me I wasn't positive enough on IGeneX for him to legally treat me! Like seriously? :( 1 month of Doxy + Samento and I got herx reactions, added in LDN after and it helped, but that was all he'd prescribe for me since I didn't have a "positive" enough test. Its just dumb how hard it is to get well with this.

Wow, what a story. The whole medical establishment needs a major clean up and everyone knows it. The ignorance and lack of quality care is positively medieval. There are some good doctors, some good nurses and far too many - not. You lower the pay by 50% country wide and you'd find the real ones pretty quickly because the opportunists will all be gone. There'll still be some abusers left but they are attracted to any job with an ounce of authority ( police, teachers, nurses, etc ). I'm a medical professional myself and have met some of the worst cretins working in hospitals. In emergency wards you're taught that the vast majority aren't real emergencies. After that, its much easier to just assume they're not really sick either. I draw my own blood because there are too many inept butchers all too willing to cause you a nice hemorrhage and black and blue stiff arm. Good luck with your recovery, this video has loads of good info to work from. Hope you find an LLMD.

people who have lyme and or babesiosa etc. some swear colloidal silver from silver edge, clears it up you need to take a higher dose every day, kills pathogens etc. the machine is @ $210 but should last for a long long time.
Take also Banderol and Samento along with the colloidal silver.
You also could look into Bob Beck Protocol
and pick up his machine from SOTA that is @ $400 or so. Again takes a year using it!!
Another idea too is rife but the machines get expensive, there is a new version called Spooky 2 which is used with the computer and sells for $500 or so.

Ro Wise Up: I f I could afford ALL the expensive supplements, herbs, diet, and other things, I could apply only that part of the protocol. What do I for medications or IV if needed? Drive to Mexico and buy them! which I still could not afford. If you are as critically ill as I am, you should do regular bloodwork and use the experience of a good doctor to know what to do, as we are all different, and it is MCIDS, which means dealing with a tangled mess of infections, that may be dorment or wiped out.
