I own this Bronco and I love it .We are retired and take our dogs out in it and they love all the room in the back
Mine is arriving later this week! I have a dog too so can't wait to see how she likes it! I plan on doing lots of camping in her!
Love these retro pastel colors, Art Deco seats and wheels. Also love the pop up rear window. Very helpful especially if you have something attached to the hitch like a rack, bike rack or small boat/jet ski.
I tried for months to get a Maverick in Calgary. My wife was going crazy with me driving her Escape after I sold my 150. The only thing holding men back about the Sport was the 3 cylindar engine. I finally drove a Big Bend and instantly loved it. Loads of power, solid ride and amazing technology. Average fuel in the city is 9.1l/100 and 7 to 7.8l/100 highway. I put 255/65 R 17 KO2's on it and it looks amazing.
Sell it before it hits 150,000kms.
@@attananightshadow Why?? Because of your rumor?? There are thousands of these engines with well over 150k even before they did the fixes. My wife's Escape has 209k plus.
@@51AB repair databases by VIN aren't rumors, they're reality; major shops can access them. glad you've had good luck with your wife's escape.
Bought the limited two weeks ago! Love it so far. Same blue/white.
The Limited is my dream vehicle if only I had the extra coin! And could find one! I'm currently waiting for the same heritage in this video to be delivered to me later this week! Haven't seen it in person yet, test drove a grey one and also saw the Alto Blue. Can't wait for mine!

I have this same one too! Love it. Speed is not an issue. Drove it from Florida to Kentucky and back - loved it even more.
Years ago some Broncos used to be small and some were big.
I wouldn't buy a crossover (4Runner owner) but I like the styling of the Baby Bronco and I like how it still looks like a traditional SUV. IF I were in the market for a small crossover, I'd check them out .
4runner is $20,000 more than this one. I also would prefer a 4runner but not in my current financial situation. I tried to located "low mile" 4runner but people want way too much for a 160,000 mile rusted frame truck even if it's Toyota. They really need to check the prices on these vehicles.
I have a 4Runner and if I were to trade it for a crossover, this would be on the top of my list.

Love the steel wheels and color combo. Looks sharp, loving the new pastel 60's style colors coming out. Wouldn't buy one because of the powertrain, 3 or 4 cylinder, if I weas in the market.
I think the wheels on this are aluminum, they just have the appearance kinda similar to steelies.
As someone who was around for the original bronco this pays homage to the look but not the capability. I like it as a daily around town grocery getter
Put the 3.0 V6 in that that was in my 2009 Escape and I'm in.

I'm not a buyer, but I do like it for what it is. The back seat space is really impressive, and like Steve said a small box is very practical as far as cargo capacity. The name doesn't bother me, I don't know if they could have designed a vehicle to look like this and called it anything else.

We just had that vehicle as well but in the Red color lol. We enjoyed it as far as handling and driving.

6:12 But the escape does tow alot more properly equipped. Up to 3500lbs versus the Bronco Sports 2200. Your typical side by side on a trailer may go over the legal ratings on the BS. Same thing with 2 atvs. Its the same basic underpinnings of the maverick and they have a 4k tow option. The tow rating is the only thing holding me back from buying one.

Maybe the 1.5 ecoboom will have a better long term record than the 2.0, but i doubt it.
The 2.3 is also sketchy.
The 2.7 - 3.5s are fine.
They’re all fine, some years of each had their issues but they’re all resolved now.
Not for me but others will find it okay/great; and personally, don't like the two-tone (or the colors).

Really the one issue I have with the Bronco sport is how unbalanced the 3 cy engine is. Once those engine mounts start wearing down the steering wheel and overall shaking will get much worse. That being said the Badlands version fixes this issue.
The engine has a balance shaft and counterweights.

I like the looks of the Baby Bronco, but I don't care for the Heritage Edition at all. Too bad they put the white top on to keep you cool and then added the magnifying glass to cook you like an ant. I looked at the Badlands Edition, but 40K is just too much in my opinion.

The towing numbers are surprisingly low for a Ford, for any American company. This looks quite capable, but doesn't back it up. Nice safari roof, but no safari rear door? Then what is the point of that high roof? It's not a Bronco, it's a filly.
I wonder if the heritage edition also comes with a heritage price? 😂

I'm not sure I agree with Ford choosing the Sport to get the heritage treatment and not the actual Bronco.
id get the bigger motor.
That's what I thought till I drove one. It has loads of power and amazing fuel economy. If you are buying a vehicle to tow, the bigger 2.0 only gives you 200 lbs. More towing capacity.
Do more research on the 1.5-2.3L ecoboosts before spending your money.
Best just to avoid them if you plan on owning them out of warranty.
@@attananightshadow I did just that. The two issues were head gaskets leaking coolant between cylinders and water pump leaks. Both issues were rectified during 22 with a redesigned block and pump. There are no issues reported on any of the Bronco forums.
@@attananightshadow They even put on l legal oil separator to keep the valves clean.
@@51AB a well engineered motor wouldn't have needed those major corrections. at least the internals are forged. if they used the dual injection system the 2.7s and up it'd remedy a lot of the higher-mileage issues the 4 and 3 cylinder ones have... all the time. owners of the 4 and 3 cylinder have to have impeccable maintenance habits to get them to last or they get a unicorn that doesn't self destruct sometime between 160-250k.
I've ran several 3.5s over 400,000 with good maintenance habits and they still ran well when traded in, so it's not like i'm anti-ecoboost or ford... currently own a 5.0 F-150, but for our smaller truck we opted for a tacoma over the maverick/ranger due to the likely long term maintenance costs.

I like it but they never should have called it a Bronco. They should have called it an Escape and then gotten rid of the current Escape.

The Escape is one of Ford's best selling models. They are not getting rid of it because of the Bronco Sport.

I can't stand the blue. The white roof and grille with a red word BRONCO is fine. The rear gate does not open high enough. Probably a blast to drive and have fun. Little pricey.
Seems Ford is actively denigrating old models. First the ‘Mach E’ and now a heritage edition, which could have been assigned to the actual Bronco, stuck onto a cutie crossover.
Heritage packages is available on the big Bronco as well.
The Mach E is only for the electric one.
They still sell the Mach 1 Mustang

Almost $50k cdn for a mid-trim small SUV? Not even a hybrid? Low-power boosted 3 cyl? No way at all, ever. That's 4runner money, Rav4 Prime money if you can find one. This trim would be marginally interesting in the low $30ks, but it's a paint and steel wheels appearance package.

It's all relative. My first new vehicle was a 1970 F100. It ran just about 3k CDN. I made 1.40 per hour/2600 per year. The truck cost more than a years salary. When I retired I made 125,000 per year. I could buy 3 Bronco Sport for that. Or an F150 Platinum and still have 45k left.
Any 3 cylinder engine product is a big no no.

Hmmm? I guess it is better than the squatting trucks but overall it is ugly and a waste. I do like the Bronco, but why call this a Bronco Sport. They couldn’t find another name? Maybe a Escape Spirt or something in that range.
