2 things I do differently. I would not twist wires with a drill. That could cause a break in the wire somewhere possibly. Secondly pulling the wire so tight and in time will put pressure on those plugs. Being an HVAC tech/installer ive seen many wiring plugs fail due to tension. I will say GREAT GREAT GREAT video on pre installing though. Thanks a ton for sharing with people. Stay safe and be well.
@Lesscoelectronics you ever modify a fortin to remote start a honda pilot 08 with OEM remote? I called Fortin they told they have no info for 08 but for 09 up.
I have installed the EVO-ONe on other vehicles, but I cannot figure out how to install it on my 2008 Ford F250 SuperDuty. This truck does not have an encrypted key, and does not have a factory remote FOB. Its a dumb key that can be copied at any hardware store. I would like Remote-Unlock and Remote Start features added. Can you put together a harness with the Required components to accomplish this? Thanks
I would like to know this as well. After pausing a lot I got all the rest down. Looks like he's using the grey/ black and grey. Not sure where either goes on the obd 2
I have a 2014 Ford Edge and I follow your wiring of your video and I program my 2 fob keys I have no idea what's going on but the only way my remote keys start my vehicle I have to leave one of the key in the ignition to start the engine what went wrong?
Great video! I plan to install this on my new Subaru Forester 2018. I would appreciate any help regarding which cables to cut and use for that specific car. Thanks.
I got pre-wired Evo-all with Linkr LT2. Everything works except aux options on the app. I don’t know how to make windows and trunk to work on the phone app. Any suggestions???
Hello, I have a 2014 Ford Escape. I hooked all the wires up as shown in your video and have followed the directions to program my keys. But, for some reason the blue and red lights aren’t flashing after I take the second key out and hold down the button on the unit. I can’t seem to figure out what I’m doing wrong. I’ve triple check upon triple check my wiring. Please help if you can!!!

Any tips on installing the Fort4 into a 2011 Focus with 1 key? Looks like I'll need the Flash tool in order to use Dcryptor to copy the 1 key but it should work.
I bought an fortin evo fort4. I am installing in 2011 ford taurus sel with standard key. Do I also need to buy/use a flash link updater? Site said pre programmed for ford Lincoln. But do I still need flash link? Thanks a bunch
What would cause a remote start to start while its already remote started.sp502 and mycar teleconnect module.second burned sp502.works for 3 months both of em.
I have this same kit installed in my 2014 Ford focus SE HB. I know Fortin sells range extender FOBs, how can you add those to a pre-existing system and does the unit need to be reflashed?
@@Lesscoelectronics can you help me out. I bought this remote start for my wife's 2012 explorer 3 years ago. YES 3 years ago. The online instructions were kinda confusing so I never bothered to install it. Your video made it look much easier. What wires do I need in order to hook it up in a 2012 explorer? Thanks for any info.
Worst thing you can do is cut the factor harness .Leave all wires factory length heat shrink and wrap and use loom or spiral band .You assume it's a one shot deal and you can't transfer it to another vehicle or replace a module when one is defective .And these remote starters do fail on a regular basis .
I need a new remote start with a LCD screen like my Excalibur but I never did anything alarm- I think I can handle it now after 15years of doing my own car audio hundreds of AMPS & SUBS & box's and 10's of vehicles ... I have no antenna in mine & it's 10years old now I wanna be alerted when some1 or something chirps the warning like it does now But some features that were never hooked up I want are Windows go up & down by remote Remote start was never hooked up & iv e had a breathalyzer installed 10years ago on it It being a 2002 toyota tundra sr5 4x4 4.7L 2UZFE V8 access cab only 2 front windows are motorizes the door locks & lights all work & turn off when I open the door -but it's just old & I didn't do it a shop did
The breathalyzer is gone but I dunno if I can check the CONECTORS & mabey take them out of not in use & either use those for the new alarm or new stuff or ... I got tessa tape I can wrap the spots in not in use!
Hey how you doing? I have a question about this car alarm that I wanna install I was hoping you could help me, so I wanna install an aftermarket alarm , it’s a basic avital on my Acura rsx 2002 but it has a factory alarm , I’m checking the wiring diagram of it and it says that it has a FACTORY ALARM DISARM wire and it’s -negative, but the aftermarket alarm doesn’t have a FACTORY ALARM DISARM wire , so I wanna know How could I disarm the factory one even if the aftermarket doesn’t have a wire for it , thanks in advance!
Josh To Avital remote start is sure to have a disarm wire, it's usually light green with a black stripe, if you don't see that wire you could use any negative (-) output. Also should have a dark blue (ground when running output).
DetrellOfATL the Avital that I’m installing is a basic alarm probably that’s why i can’t find the disarm wire, someone told me that I could just ground to the chasis the FACTORY ALARM DISARM wire from the car to permanently disable it but I don’t know if it’s true
Depending on the alarms features, You can use tit's disarm output, or in the worse case, You can tie the unlock output in with a double diode to control both at once.
The 5 P's. You had a wise father. Thanks so much for sharing. Stay safe.
No mess straight to the point guy... many thanks for the video

Just get an EVO-ALL with the appropriate T-Harness and then add an external RF kit, along with the door lock actuators.
Easily, call us at 904 342 5491
How do you add the RF long range antenna? What plugs or wires do I use to make the connection to the canbus? Thanks.

Yes you can add an rf kit, However it will need to be turned specifically for the brand rf kit you want to use with it.
I purchased a evo all didn't realize it was without a T harness how do I go about wiring it or can I buy a wire harness separately?
