  • We've been getting a lot of new folks around here and just want to say THANK YOU. We appreciate each and every viewer and subscriber. The support is unreal.
Today, we're going for a good long ride in the new Polaris Ranger to try and find some gold in a public prospecting spot. We are new to the gold game and are mainly trying to learn! As always, these videos are not meant to be any kind of advice for others.
Levi was a gold miner back in Colorado but in a much different way! Sluicing, panning, and actually bringing home some pay dirt is pretty new to us still. In this video, we are using a high-banker sluice from Gold Hog that seems to be working pretty well.
Thanks again for watching and stick around for the adventures! Hopefully, Levi and I will be putting our own roots down soon and building a homestead. If only some land would pop up for sale!

Wishing you guys the best of luck and don't forget that your living the dream. Don't forget that a bad day w/ your best friend in Alaska is better then a good day in a big city around strangers who don't care

Hi Becca & Levi😃 New to your channel🤙 Beautiful country up there, I'm in arizona. Do you two have a metal detector? Run it over your tailings pile at the end of the day before packing up👍 Some bigger pieces, even nuggets will sometimes bounce out. Congrats you two on your upcoming bundle of joy and stink bombs😂🤗

Always rerun your tailings. When your starting out or a pro there's always gold escapes when panning.💚💛❤️👍

The angle of the sluice should be about 1" per foot drop when you have the right flow of water. I've got gold prospecting videos 👍💚💛❤️

i would stay away from easy access areas walking a couple 100 meters up or downstream is maybe still a less unexplored area

Thanks for the tip! I think they talked about going up or downstream a bit, but we got there pretty late in the day. Next time we're going better prepared!

Peters Cr has been well worked over and never been impressed with the gold from there.

Not bad for float, on of bedrock and in the cracks will give a much better showing

Just based on your description of your video.. dig deeper and or do some research on the typography of the area you are in. Alaska is rich
