Now there is a conversation about "too much sugar in food" to be had (sugar would have been already present in her bread and her tomato sauce), but this is not it, because again, she is just showing how this fast food is made. Now saying that, I agree that pan is fantastic, but an electric frypan looks like it would serve the same function

Coming from someone who's unfamiliar with this spreading sugar on a toast thingy, I managed to try the street toast in Korea (yes, they do add sugar on it). To my surprise, it tastes really good and it doesn't even taste that sweet. The vege + egg + ketchup sorta balanced the sweetness. It was so good that I'm back to my country for 3 weeks but I still think about the toast. 외국인이라 토스트 위에 설탕 뿌리는거 익숙하지 않았지만 한국에 있었을때 직접 먹어봤어요. 설탕 뿌려서 너무 달달한거 아니냐란 생각이 들면서 먹어봤는데 전혀 달달하지 않아요! 너무 맛있게 먹었어요! 진짜 길거리에 먹는 토스트였고 지금 말레이시아에 있는데 계속 한국 길거리 토스트 생각나요ㅠㅠ 그 정도 맛있었습니다.

Cereals contain 30% sugar, soft ice cream contains at least 190g of sugar in one cone. Every syrups and jams you add on waffles, toast, pancakes is made with more than 40~50% of sugar. Even though you have only one serving, with everything you eat with that meal, it's more or the same amount of sugar compared to this recipe. And OMG how can you eat ice creams, cakes, pies, soda, all kinds of sauce, doughnuts, your favorite macchiato, frapuccino if you are so scared of this amount of sugar!! Plus, why are you freaking out using sugar and ketchup to a sandwich when you are eating hamburger or toast and waffles with ketchup and jam? It's based on similar recipe and ingredients. Even though this video was posted long time ago, I had to write this comment cuz I still see some ignorant people down there.
Umm.. I thought that was salt.. whew Nonetheless, that was a bit too much sugar honestly.. Yes we do eat pancakes with syrup, but we don't top it with veggies, eggs and ham do we? I'd eat bread with chocolate maybe.. Not to mention the sandwich had ketchup on it, which is kinda sweet on itself, why add sugar.
its less of the sugar content, more of the fact that its sugar with a savory dish. From what I've heard, koreans will add sugar to things americans/westerners wouldn't, like garlic toast and pizza.

I just made this for breakfast with family I follow the recepi...I tried one without sugar its taste different(I had to open back my sandwich and add the sugar lol) the original with sugar taste so good,just perfect blend...love it love it.
I can tell all the non- koreans are totally baffled by the idea of adding sugar to a sandwich but seriously, give it a go. I grew up in Korea and this was definitely one of my favourite snacks. I live in London now and my English friends absolutely love it when I make this to them. I have no idea how the sugar goes well with the savoury toast, but it really does! I REALLY do recommend putting in the sugar.
Believe me this is the BEST sandwich I’ve ever made the flavors goes so will together I used lettuce instead of cabbage but it’s still so tasty .. I spread half spoon of sugar on the bread itself and it made such a great taste with butter !! Thank you for the recipe you won’t know how tasty and good it is till u taste it

i used to have this all the time in korea. i loved it. the sugar just added to the overall taste and made it better. so good with a latte or cappucino.

저거 보니까 하나 생각나는데 예전에 우리 동네 앞에 토스트가게가 있었는데 항상 미용실 갈때 배고파서 미용하는 도중 시간이 날때 항상가서 먹는 나에겐 굉장히 중요한 곳이였는데 어느날 갑자기 여행갔다오니 그곳이 싹 사라지고 옷가게가 와서 그때 울었던 기억이 난다... 지금 꿀키님 만드는 토스트하고 굉장히 똑같은 기분이나는건 기분탓인가.... 암튼 그때로 다시 되돌아 갈 수 있으면 한번이라도 더 먹고싶다..ㅜ

I believe the sugar content in american ketchup is higher than korea. Unless it's a texture thing I don't think it would be necessary to add sugar with regular heinz
Sugar? Most foods that American people eat contain more sugar than this Korean sandwich. For example, your coke contains 10 cube sugars per a can And a macaron contains at least 40g sugars Typically, Korean foods have low sugar than American foods! XD

이미 꿀키님의 레시피라고 불러도될지 모를정도로 재료가 너무 없어서 없는데로 양배추, 계란, 식빵으로만 만들었는데도 진짜 꿀맛임 계란두개에 양배추가득해서 부치고 한장씩 설탕케찹뿌려서 두장 다 식빵사이에 넣어먹으면 엄청 맛있음
대박이다 진짜 내가 딱 좋이하는 것만 들어갔어,,,

저거 보니까 하나 생각나는데 예전에 우리 동네 앞에 토스트가게가 있었는데 항상 미용실 갈때 배고파서 미용하는 도중 시간이 날때 항상가서 먹는 나에겐 굉장히 중요한 곳이였는데 어느날 갑자기 여행갔다오니 그곳이 싹 사라지고 옷가게가 와서 그때 울었던 기억이 난다...
지금 꿀키님 만드는 토스트하고 굉장히 똑같은 기분이나는건 기분탓인가....
암튼 그때로 다시 되돌아 갈 수 있으면 한번이라도 더 먹고싶다..ㅜ

뭐지.. unhealthy 거리는데 케이크에 들어가는 설탕 보면 기겁할듯..;; 저는 토스트에 계란 부쳐서 먹는데 무조건 설탕 위에 뿌려먹거든요 핵존맛. 토스트 어떻게 먹든 취향이고, 언헬시해보이면 설탕 빼면 되는거죠☺

I believe the sugar content in american ketchup is higher than korea. Unless it's a texture thing I don't think it would be necessary to add sugar with regular heinz

과자 케이크 아이스크림에 설탕 든 것과 쌀밥에 설탕 넣은 것의 차이입니다. 우리는 빵을 간식으로 보는 경향이 있고 저들은 주식이니까요. 설탕 뿌린 밥을 주식으로 매일 먹을 수 없겠죠.

For example, your coke contains 10 cube sugars per a can
And a macaron contains at least 40g sugars
Typically, Korean foods have low sugar than American foods! XD

first off, your numbers are totally off. secondly, it's the fact that they mix sugar with eggs, which is just fucked up. just because american desserts have ore sugar than some things in korea doesn't mean that its ok to douse a savory meal with sugar.
