- New Bass Cover Alert! This time, "Twist and Shout."
Originally by the Isley Brothers, The Beatles recorded it for their first UK Album, "Please Please Me," and is often considered one of the best Beatles songs ever.
It's fairly well known that John and Paul were sick for the recording, and John blew his Vocal Chords out from screaming.
What people MIGHT not know, is that John's Rickenbacker actually broke before the recording of the song, so he had to use his Gibson J-160e, plugged into the amp for the recording of the song.
Enjoy this Bass Cover!
Well done bass line i am enjoyed listenning sounds great, Alain
Thank you!!!
Where'd you get the jacket from, I'd like one myself, and what size is yours?
So... mine is from Beatwear, but they stopped doing the suits, and only really do the Boots now. My Sullivan Jacket, however, is from BeatlesStyle, and I love it. BeatlesStyle actually does custom fittings, as you just submit your measurements on whatever your order is. The Shea Jacket is a 46 R I believe, but I need to get it hemmed, as it's a little too big for what it's supposed to be for.
I love the bass and great cover!!
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed!
