I'm pretty much up late most nights anyway so i usually feed around 1am, can be hard to get them to eat earlier, i also like to feed everyone by tongs to make sure they get enough food and don't eat anything that they shouldn't.

I would like a vocal frog to help with my insomnia silly i know but that what im trying to research. Dart frogs are out of the question as a have a little one myself and just dont want to risk it. Any suggestions.. i was thinking of maybe a few reed frogs? Thank you
I would invest in a 100 gal for those wild caught flying frogs. Its only fair for them to be able to at least glide like they would in the wild. That should be end goal for them.
Have you heard of the teeny, tiny brown frog in Texas (central to coastal) that many people mistakenly believe are baby frogs when, in fact, they don't get any bigger than 1/2 inch to 1 inch? I don't know the scientific name for them, and I don't see them every year, but occassionally I see them hopping about. They might be the Texas Cricket Frog, but crickets are bigger than they are.
I really want to get European tree frogs. One thing that worries me is how well they can jump, how do you prevent them from escaping? Second question, could I put any kind of bonsai tree in with them, or would that be poisonous or otherwise harmful to them? Thanks

I have a pet common frog, he is a wild frog, well kinda, some people where farming frogs to eat so we bought a live one out of pity, i know it won't help, it even makes it worse giving them money but I actually don't have anything against the company so yeah, his name is Vinigar (I don't know if it's a girl or a boy 😶)
Nice. I am in Thailand and we have hundreds of those 'dumpy' frogs all over the place. They make such a loud noise it is deafening when the rains start. I have to be careful not to step on them when I walk outside at night. There are also a lot of 'tree frogs' that stick to the walls, and massive Asian toads that get HUGE, but sadly a lot get squashed on the road when they are sitting under street lights to catch flying termites.
Nice video. I would also say captive is best whenever possible as I am all for keeping frogs for research, pets, etc if done properly, however keeping them wild where they belong and can be enjoyed is always better 😊
I love Frogs. I use to catch them as a kid and keep them in the water meter. I would catch bugs for them. I remember thinking the biggest Frog got away. Come to find, he was buried under the ground for quite some time lol

the photo you used was not a whites treefrog, it was a Litoria splendida male. although it is a little bit overweight they are supposed to look more or less how it looks in the photo.

to be honest i cannot remember exactly 😅 lifespan depends heavily on the species, can be anywhere from 5 - 20 years with good care... xenopus clawed frogs can push that to nearly 30 years again with luck and right care :)
I am working on building a vivarium and want to add a frog. I decided against it while watching another video where the tank was dirty, and the glass was green. Your tanks are absolutely beautiful, I think I am hooked! What do you use on the glass?
Just water and a paper towel nothing fancy.... glass being green is sometimes beneficial to some species of frogs, if they are housing dart frogs the build up of algae blocks the amount the frog can see out, and if they are a flighty species that will make them more comfortable in their environment, people with those kinds of frogs usually clean it every so often
How loud are white's tree frogs at night? I'm considering getting a 1 but it will be in my bedroom next to my bed. I also have two small kids I don't want to wake up at night
Victor G not to bad at all!! my two are both young males and they only croak for a few seconds and can then go days before I hear anything from them, can be dependent on the individual and females make a little noise to, but I'd say you'd be fine :)
I have Springtails and other clean up crew in the soil, I change the water bowl everyday and pick up and poop or anyother mess that is made :) also the plants help to keep things clean to
I'm pretty sure that mine are Rhacophorus Kio and not Reinwardtii (wallace's) altho one of them could be, i'm sorry but my sources for frogs stays with me sorry about that

I want a horny frog, chubby frog, and a pacman frog!! Love the albino aquatic frogs!! Can they be kept with axlotls?
