  • I recently got a group of 6 hourglass frogs, so its time to make a new terrarium!!!
I'm glad that my last frog related video did so well and people were actually interested in it lol, this is a pretty large part of my life that takes up a lot of my time looking after all of these animals, so it will be good to share some of these kinda things on my channel,
So expect a few more things like this throughout 2018 ;)

Please make more content like this! Your editing is fantastic as well as the commentary. Alot of channels that focus on their amphibians are dry and boring. I was surprised to find out your channel was a a makeup channel becuase the content you produce about your frogs is so proffessional and well done I assumed it was because that was the type of content you regularly produced. The couple videos you've made on your frog room are better then most frog room tour videos from channels who exclusively produce that type of content. Excellent work!

Thank you very much you're very kind to say that, i'm glad of the feedback too!!! My channel started as a makeup channel but i've always had all these guys behind the scenes kinda thing hahah, so i just decided to start making videos about them, i know it will be an odd mix of things but i think i'll still do makeup but have the animal stuff every now and again :)

I love that you are making videos about your animals now! Keep doing that.
Also an update video of the terrarium would be great. Would love to see how it all grows in.

I loved this! Seeing another side to your life and the things that you love and yet still being creative is so nice. You’re a true talent! Mixing it up a bit really is a nice way to get to know you and interact with you! Keep it up John (Electra) x

You have an amazing collection and beautiful frogs and set ups, you could have a full channel dedicated to the subject. I’m sure it would be way better than most channels on the frog hobby

"if something doesnt grow just try again in a different position"
Yes, I do this to cuz im so shit with plants that I just toss plants everywhere, tho I was able to get rabbit foot ferns super glued to wood and they have gone through the ugly phase and have started spreading their foots out and pushing out new growth. Only took months of looking dead before springing back to life.

You’ll need to put a rather big bromeliad or water source in for them to lay their eggs

Coincidentally this is very similar to my upcoming set up. I like the multiple ferns look, it’s very simple and looks prehistoric.
If you wanted, Bromeliads such as Guzmania and Tillandsia Cyanea add colour, but still maintain the ancient otherworldly vibe. Selaginella add colour and texture too, depending on the species.

Ah it's so beautiful \^-^/ My Ludiscia just misbehave and grow like straggly triffids, I had to chop them right back (I saved the cuttings of course ^-^') and your hourglass frogs are gorgeous! I love hourglasses in general, so now I might have a new favourite frog species that I'd like to one day own...
    Thank you! x
