Great video as always.... I agree 100% with what you said, I think sometimes people are so focused on the craft and trying to create a sound/vibe in a specific way that they left aside stuff that really makes a project sound special for us and others!
Very good advice here. Especially the part of making things more exciting by messing with what you already have, not necessarily by just adding more stuff which is what I tend to do. And yes Transit is a very cool creative (and hell of a timesaving) plugin :)
Been watching your channel for 5+ years and this is absolutely one of the best videos I've seen. Incredible tips / advice and solid examples of how to do this in live sessions! Thank you Austin.
The timing of your videos is so on point. Some Fridays I feel like you can read my mind and drop a video about the exact questions I have lol. Thanks for doing these broski
This is awesome advice. Sometimes it's good to view our plugin collections not like a toolbox, but a toybox. Just a whole bunch of toys to pull out, twist around a bit, and see what happens.
Gorgeous lessons on this channel, appreciate a lot! I think, everybody will interesting modern funk/disco style (Dua Lipa, Jason Mraz). And, i want to hear your opinion about modern dance music, what to wait from this genre in the future. Sorry for my bad english...
please tell how to do ear training so that i can create new melodies. how you get melodies in your head while listetning to chord progressions and music tracks . i am a beginner
I really like this theme, music should be creative, not just academic. I wonder, do you sometimes use your Juno DS88 as a sound generator, or do you mainly use it as a midi controller?
I actually think both beats are good. Maybe somewhere inbetween would be the best. too many randomness can destroy a beat, there will just be too many sound interactions and so. Thanks man great video. Get the point
So in other words. Be calculated in the production and then add random shit that might sound cool and some effects that adds space and punches instruments through the mix. (Btw this is the first time ive heard bro cuss in a video 😂)
I unsubscribe last week. Yesterday, he came to my house while I wasn't home, fed my dogs, mowed my lawn, and got my mail. I come home and he's just chilling on my couch watching the third season of Below Deck on my TV. I asked him if I could help him, but he didn't say anything, grabbed my favorite Rachel Ray skillet, and used it to shatter my femur. This man then proceeded to carry me upstairs and tuck me in bed, and with a gentle kiss on my forehead he whispered to me "don't forget to like and subscribe".... Chills my man. I resubscribed that very minute. Because that's how much he cares about us.

Exactly! Sometimes a production just needs more dimension but not a million different elements on top!
Been watching your channel for 5+ years and this is absolutely one of the best videos I've seen. Incredible tips / advice and solid examples of how to do this in live sessions! Thank you Austin.
Some great advice! I definitely need to put more random stuff on my tracks

You explained it very well - its not something that people think to teach and distinguishing 'structured work' vs 'random/fun moments' is smart
Love this! I love that you encourage people to just dive in and do some weird stuff.
That's how the coolest stuff is found!
8:40 Lunchbox 😂😂😂 thanks for the laugh. Great video as always 🙏🏾
look I was hungry okay….

My boyfriend gets me to sing on his tracks and the he gets audio from pawn hub and honestly that little step improved his music for me
I really like that kick, where can I find one like that?
I love you austin!!!!! I love these types of videos, I really enjoy watching your videos to improve my production skills ;w;
Tried this instantly and used a bunch of random plugins I never touched and wow. It gives such a cooler vibe
thank you for this video!! it's inspired me to try new things on the project I'm working on!! always top notch content from MPM.
Friday is always a great day because of MPM 🔥 Austin, that track slaps bro. At the rate you’re going I can’t wait to see where you’ll be in 10 years.

Super helpful!! Awesome beat!!
So solid! I have been printing using Pocket Dimension and Mishby from Freakshow - also cause of the channel I have Murda on call a lot. Love the video
Very Cool. I think the main thing is making sure you block your time for this type of creative exploration in your week.
Great advice as always🙏
Very inspiring.,Thank you!
This is gold ya'll
Do i need to know how to play a music instrument to become a pop producer?
Hi from France.
It definitelyyyy helps. I suggest learning guitar or piano and that should give you a solid foundation

I like your tutorials keep bro your the best
Do you have a video where you go through what vsts you use for sounds (like synths, Rhoads, pianos)
please tell how to do ear training so that i can create new melodies. how you get melodies in your head while listetning to chord progressions and music tracks . i am a beginner
Hey Austin! Thanks for the amazing video. What do you normally use to sequence drum one shots in cubase?
Sometimes groove agent and midi them and sometimes just drag and drop!
Man you are too cool for that necklace
Sometimes mistakes are the best outcomes. Not at least in melody...
another great video!
My parents always told me that I was a happy accident.
I was definitely an accident but happy is a stretch

clicked for the trill hat
You are LEONEL MESSI in the production field my man! Learning a ton (literally a ton) from you!!!!!
Missing your “how to make a song like…” videos! Could you do one on how to make a song like Tate McRae? ❤❤❤
So in other words. Be calculated in the production and then add random shit that might sound cool and some effects that adds space and punches instruments through the mix. (Btw this is the first time ive heard bro cuss in a video 😂)
No. Be calculated with writing and basic arrangement. Go insane with production. 😂
Oh I swear in videos all the time. Hahaha
