Lmfao the Zedd/Ariana lyric breakdown killed me 🤣I love that song and never thought about how ridiculous the lyrics really are. Bravo austin 👏
I LOVE HOW THIS VIDEO IS STRUCTURES AND DOESNT GO OFF TOPIC AS MANY OTHER ASPIRING ARTIST VIDEOS
max martin breakdown would be sick
I'd love a separate video discussing Max Martin's melodic formula!
"I only wanna die alive" is pretty fire tho.
If you want your songs to connect with an audience, I would write in the first person as much as possible. Of course, the second person is never far away when writing in first person. When you use "WE" you create an intimate bond between the artist and the listener. In the third person, you'll quickly create (too much) distance with the audience and the subject for people to relate too. It's important to create a sense of urgency in a song that just has to be expressed. BTW, I highly recommend the book "The Song Machine" by John Seabrook, especially for Max Martin fans.
Man I’m really loving these videos. I finally feel like I have a roadmap for making music.
Thank you! I really, really needed this video right now.

Great video, brother. 🎸
thank you my brother and my best teacher.
Lately I've been coming up with great melodies and having to write lyrics to the hook. For some reason it seem more difficult. Others have said, "the hook is your melody" but the melody is such a great instrumental hook I hate to lose it.
