Ever since the release of FS22 with the addition of deer in the game, I've wondered if adding Whitetail deer or Elk in American maps would ever be a possibility. Even more, how difficult would it be to create wild turkeys, pheasants, etc to randomly spawn like the deer? I love the addition of wildlife, but in American farmlands, these types of wildlife are very common and would add so much life to maps. Also, the base game dog we can purchase is good (bc what farm doesn't have a dog), but it would be amazing to have different breeds like blue heelers, Pyrenees, border collies, etc for livestock.
Oh yes, all of these are possible, looking at the hofbergman map, they added turkeys and fish for wildlife, but the reality is whatever animal you want you will need to make it with its animations, design xmls and working parts for it, sounds etc.
Hey farmer b0b question please ive been trying for a 6 months to add the mod dynamic crushable rocks mod to my 4x map and everything i do they dont work their on the map and look like rocks but i cant crush them or have them turn to stone when i load them in a trailer or truck any input would be appreciated. Thanks for your time and map tutorials
The rocks in fs22 that appear on the fields is actually a info layer in the game that can be harvested and then forms a filltype called stones . Not the same as rocks, rocks on maps are objects, not filltypes. So i dont know of any way that can be accomplished. Im not sure what the mod dynamic crushabke rocks do ir is about, never heard of it.

@@Cornholio i had a look at the rocks in SF, the breakabke ones, i cannot find any attribute or anything that seperate them from ordinary rocks.. it looks like they are scripted to be recognised in that map alone... i exported one of the rocks into my testmap (alpine map) and loaded it with the DLC.. still doesnt work, so it looks like it is a function only available to the SF map..
I like the idea of the cats and baby chick's so i might have to watch this video a couple more times and give it a shoot

yes you can, but you will need to build a fox first :)

Hi there, thanks for replying in English, much apreciated. The Catz package is for ease of use availabke in my Patreon Shop, so just download it from there, if you dont want to go that route just copy the folders i use in the video from the Hofbergmann map, it will also work. 😊
So in other words ... stealing someone else's custom modifications and hard work and then selling it for a profit? This is an absolute disgrace to the modding community.
No my friend im not selling anything of theirs, i dont think you understood the video. I spent around 4 days on this project around 20 hours of my time making a easy to follow process including the video to show you how to add the animals to your own map for private use. There is no stealing involved. This is pretty normal in the modding community.. same as just downloading and using the mods game.
The cats pack i made is actually to bless my Patreon supporters, but also available for the public. But if you wish to follow the video stop pause do, you can achieve the same without the pack, exactly as i explained in the video in great detail.
It is available free to my Patreons on a certain level.

Your "cat pack" is 100% someone else's hard work and not yours to "bless your patreons" with (for $5). Just because you took all of the relevant files, stuck them in a folder, and called it a cat pack (an hours worth of work tops, if you know what you're doing) doesn't make it yours. You're profiting off of someone else's hard work, and that's stealing, no matter how you try to justify it to yourself. There is nothing "normal" about this in the modding community, at least not amongst the half that has actual morals. This is not the same as downloading and using the mod in game. Deconstructing a mod to learn from for your own person use is one thing, but to repackage it, give it name, and redistribute it to others for a profit ... that's something else entirely. Why don't you ask Farmer Andy how he feels about it?
