You know how the tree at the end is connected to the rock? If you think about it, that could mean it combines the apples, the pears, and Pinkie's side of the family (rocks)
The song felt like kakashi's lightning blade pierced to my heart and 2nd i felt narutos rasengan the ending it's both cute yet heart piercing at the same time.
I love how the episode left the whereabouts of bright mac and pear butter wide open to continue fandom speculation. Rather than to tell us how or if they died, it told us how they lived.
Just got back from watching this episode and I couldn't have been more satisfied of this season than I am now! At long, long last...we finally get a beautiful backstory on the Apple family's parents and what an amazing love story it is!! Hit me right in the feels like a ton of bricks.🤧😊
Ditz490 It's actually better this way. Seriously, I'd hate to see the writers horribly stumble around, "Oh, we've neglected our kids for YEARS now, but yay, now we're back!"
I cried to!! This episode was so beautiful and this episode is definitely one of my top five now. It touched me so bad. I cried even watching yours because it's just to good! 😄 BrightButter is best ship! 😢
I love this episode! It is more then likely my second favorite episode of the series, my favorite being Amending Fences. (Amending Fences just hit me on a personal level). This kind of story isn't new, it basically is Romeo and Juliet. Star crossed lovers whose family can't stand each other. But it's just a plot point that may be so cliché it just works on so many levels. And for MLP FIM to blow this kind of plot out of the water for me and make it amazing; well that is just great to see. It made me cry so much the first time I had watched it, and even watching it now still gets me teary eyed/and even crying. The Apple parents are definitely dead, the hints before this episode with the series, the hints in this episode, plus the line they left something to remember them by, that just sells it to me. Plus everyone acted in a way that you would if someone you cared for was dead, yeah there's no denying it. Talking about old times, and the like. I can't see anyone having any doubt about them being gone after this episode. (Unless some people are just in denial). Such an amazing episode, love it so much! Great reaction.
I love that they included new characters. This is the most well planned episode that MLP has ever produced. And I thought the Crystaling was well planned
really great episode, love it turned out to be a applejack episode, favorite they turned Sam Elliott to a Pony AKA "Burnt Oak" funny about that you can see Lebowski "the dude" pony walking away his tint. got to know about applejack's parents. Dude abides awesome reaction Ashley.
It's nice that we got to learn about AJ, Big Mac and Applebloom's folks. But there's one question...WHAT IN EQUESTRIA HAPPENED TO THEM?! Are they still alive or could they be living in seclusion somewhere
I been asking that question myself many times now: Is Bright Mac and Pear Butter dead or alive? If they're alive, where are they hiding now? if they're dead, how did they die and where are their bodies? Too much unconfirmed information and full of uncertainty.
sadlobster1 . Judging by how Apple Bloom said, "Mom and Dad left us something to remember them by" I'd say it's very likely they died. As they seemed like the type of ponies who would get back to their children no matter what if they were still alive.
8:11 for all those confused as to why Bright Macintosh and Pear Butter are able to talk despite being babies at this point, I believe it's work on Rugrats and Arthur logic, where before they learn to talk babies have their own language that only they can understand. that is what I believe is going on here
I knew you were out for a while, but as soon as I watched The Perfect Pear y came cazy looking for your reaction and it took a while but thaks for making that, I really remember you since Crusaders of the Lost Mark. My best regards A :D
The have a total of three hints that the parents are no longer around.shooting stars in apple family reunion.Applejack's line in season 5 episode 18and now the pear/apple tree.that's just confirming it
i stopped doing reactions after most of mine kept getting hit by Hasbro. I was crying at the end of this btw. :( The Feels Ashely!! THE FEELSS! I know you've seen my comments but i wanted to remind you that my animations are up on my channel, and the next will be next week ok?
Also one more thing sorry 😂 you know how Mrs. Cake kinda raised pinkie after her cutie mark? Well Mrs. Cake was apple mom's best friend and sometimes when you have a family friend they become family so maybe they aren't blood related but they're close enough to be considered cousins? Pinkie and the Apples that is.
My dad died when I was in third grade and I was in a similar situation as the apples finding out someone you knew for years actually knew my dad I had just graduated high school and my best friends dad was having a get together with his friends and stuff I was over so I started hanging out with them when I mentioned my dads name and my friends dad said oh yea i know him were best friends i was estatic i spent the whole night learning about my dad it was nice
One, I click because I wanted to see a reaction to this and... Fugh you for writing that remembrance story (sniff) wreak me for days... Second I feel so dumb. Grand pair... Grand pa(ir). It was right there! My gosh
They say the won't have death in the show cuz it's for kids.. yet ya look over here at moana which had a grandma and like one or two creatures die onscreen and it passes as "kid friendly" -_- but yeah.. I'd say they're dead too.
16:01 I just noticed... Pear Butter's hair is in a style VERY similar to Sugarbelle's. 😞 I hope there's no retaliation there, or else SugarMac, our first confirmed ship in a long while gets... maybe kinda ewy
AHHHHH I promised not to watch again but I did And now I'm crying again Holy crap The song is so sad Also didn't know mayor mare had purple/pink hair XD
This is my all time favorite episode I cried the first time I watched it. There's still one problem... We need an episode where they tell us in some way shape or form how Buttercup (Pear Butter) and Bright Mac passed away. I know its a kid show and they wouldn't really get it if they told us and it may upset parents but for as long as mlp has been on air the fandom has wondered how their parents died... I just wanna know how they died because I'm so confused. Was it like Romeo and Juliet? Did one fake their death and the other kill them self? Did they fall to their doom? Did they get attacked by some creature trying to protect the kids? Did they catch some kind of disease? HOW IN THE HAY DID THEY DIE!?! there's so many theories about it but I wanna know the actual reason.
tamong ao oooh that's a good theory maybe apple dad didn't commit suicide though thats a tad dark for a children's show maybe he got sick short after she died and they didn't have the proper medicine to heal him?
Whoa yeah! Unless they somehow pull Angel Bunny out of a hat in another episode this may be the highlight of the season. Romeo and Juliet without the tragic waste that is the bard's ending to the play, and the remote possibility of Gran Pear being a minor repeating character in future episodes! At least, we can hope so. But now a new challenge emerges, who was Bright Mac's father and what happened to him?
You know how the tree at the end is connected to the rock? If you think about it, that could mean it combines the apples, the pears, and Pinkie's side of the family (rocks)
What a Huge family to have 0_0
The Agent of Discord U have a point
The Agent of Discord where are the oranges? xD
Oh I never thought of that! Really nice!
Incest is wincest.
Pear Butter's song is in my head like a catchy... oh wait XD

IM CRYING AGAIN!. And this is the third time ive watched the episode now >
i cant wait to see Applegeek's reaction to this as well. He's a big fan of the Apple Family too.
MLPDethDealr32, I must have a heart of stone then. I don't hardly ever cry at anything.
MLPDethDealr32 fourth time and I'm still crying
MLPDethDealr32 i cry everytime and I have watched the episode about 12 times 😂
MLPDethDealr32 Same...
We all know who the main villain of this story is...Timberwolves
Just got back from watching this episode and I couldn't have been more satisfied of this season than I am now! At long, long last...we finally get a beautiful backstory on the Apple family's parents and what an amazing love story it is!! Hit me right in the feels like a ton of bricks.🤧😊
Crap, it's 2020 and i'm still crying from this episode ;-;
i was kinda hoping they actually came back but no... they're dead
*-Eyup-*
Ditz490 It's actually better this way. Seriously, I'd hate to see the writers horribly stumble around, "Oh, we've neglected our kids for YEARS now, but yay, now we're back!"
Ditz490 not necessarily
**immediately adds to watch later**
19:55 - That awkward moment when your parents catch you getting married in the backyard.
I cried to!! This episode was so beautiful and this episode is definitely one of my top five now. It touched me so bad. I cried even watching yours because it's just to good! 😄 BrightButter is best ship! 😢
and FYI, GrandPear was voiced by William Shatner, aka Captain James T Kirk >:)
And Pear Butter by Felicia Day of TH-cam fame.
SpeakDemon Felicia who? 😋
@@claytonhess5512 Smartass xD .
@@josephschultz3301 Actually, that was genuine. Too much time in the real world.
Awesome reaction. Seeing you IRL I must say, your truly Beautiful. I really enjoy your videos Ashely H have a great day.
And just to raise the level of awesome this episode had, that was the legendary William Shatner as Applejack's grandfather.

I love that they included new characters. This is the most well planned episode that MLP has ever produced. And I thought the Crystaling was well planned
I'm amazed that MLP didn't blow away all the head cannons by declaring that their parents are still alive.
This episode is my favorite of that season, I’m such a cry baby because I cried alot while watching it
This is my favorite episode of the entire series.
I can't see apple bloom cry 😢
This episode is so cute.
*-agreed-*
really great episode, love it turned out to be a applejack episode, favorite they turned Sam Elliott to a Pony AKA "Burnt Oak" funny about that you can see Lebowski "the dude" pony walking away his tint. got to know about applejack's parents. Dude abides awesome reaction Ashley.
Best TH-camr reacting to best and saddest episode!!!! SO MANY FEELS!!!
omg yes you finally reacted to this episode!!!!
It's nice that we got to learn about AJ, Big Mac and Applebloom's folks.
But there's one question...WHAT IN EQUESTRIA HAPPENED TO THEM?!
Are they still alive or could they be living in seclusion somewhere
Them being alive would be a MAJOR copout.
sadlobster1 ask applejack I dare you..
Word of god says that they're sadly passed
I been asking that question myself many times now: Is Bright Mac and Pear Butter dead or alive? If they're alive, where are they hiding now? if they're dead, how did they die and where are their bodies?
Too much unconfirmed information and full of uncertainty.

13:36 notice how they made young Mrs Cake look a lot like the cartoon Wendy's mascot that started up earlier this year?

i find it interesting just how much sugar bell is like buttercup, makes sense why big mac is with her now a bit more, hopefully its not cut as short.

i've learned many things on this episode, I learned about the apple siblings parents (Finally! x3) and I learned that earth ponies can play guitar :D
THIS IS MY FAVORITE EPISODE!!
my tears, they wont stop flowing TwT (
Where apples forever, apples to gether, where apples, sweral, oak, mears, and pears to the core!!
BUT HOW DID THEY DIE (shakes a standee of lauren faust) HOW DID THEY DIE
This episode is the saddest thing mlp has gotten into. It’s so sad i’m suprised Applejack or anyone else wasn’t crying during it.
This is my all time favorite episode I cried the first time I watched it. There's still one problem... Pinkie PinkTv maybe pear butter died giving birth to Apple bloom and bright got so depressed he must've committed suicide
Maybe maybe
tamong ao oooh that's a good theory maybe apple dad didn't commit suicide though thats a tad dark for a children's show maybe he got sick short after she died and they didn't have the proper medicine to heal him?
ok I got part of a thing on my season 7 wish list but I still need the other half of that thing. HOW IN THE HAY DID THAT DID FOR CELESTIAS SAKE
SO CUTE!😃😍
The animotars and the creators probably cried.
They even changed the the theme song in the outro!
so AJ *did* get her hat from her dad...
me in everyway, shape and form.
Good quality episode 👌
*-sniff-*- I'm not crying...... it's liquid pride damn it!-
Whats your second channel?
Whoa yeah! Unless they somehow pull Angel Bunny out of a hat in another episode this may be the highlight of the season. the Applejack family of family reunion episode was amazing
