I feel like in a few more years people will forget old games cost money or nobody is buying that $100 cart of Super Mario Bros and the prices crash or go back to the way they were in Season 1
@@CaptAwesumNo1Zone Hard to say, a lot of us started out of the pure love of growing up gaming where as now with the Internet in full throw there is a whole gaming and retro collecting scene and everyone is wise to the money in it now, greed will fuel the machine, I think of course prices will fluctuate, we know that but I certainly don't see some crash in game collecting and selling and even if there was, we'd eat all the games up for cheap and they'd become even more rare for a moment.

I would gave anything for these guys to have at least million subscribers. It’s so weird they started a entire queue of TH-cam style of videos. But no one knows these guys. I love them so much.
I really wish we could have more of these again, when I was going through a darktime mentally this show was one of the things that helped me forget everything that was going on in my head

For the record, I absolutely remember the Bikini Open theme song. When my friends and I had sleepovers in elementary school we’d stay up late enough and it would come on. Even as kids we thought the song’s lyrics of “Ah Bikini, ah ah Bikini” was hilarious! Your memory is correct.

I miss when retro games were cheaper myself. SEGE was awesome and so is Video Game Cavern. They used to have better prices but still a cool nostalgic place.

I found some stuff on The Bikini Open, so you are not crazy, it did exist. Apparently it was a reality TV show in the early 90s. I found a TH-cam channel by the name of Spiderman13505 that has a playlist with 3 videos titled The Bikini Open TV series

Game Chasers is pretty much the only collecting channel I watch nowadays. I’ve moved on from my collecting days and essentially only buy digital nowadays, but it’s impossible to not keep up with you all.

When I worked at Target in 1997-1999, we had a working Super Nintendo kiosk in our break room.
Been ing my annual watch through of the game chaser series and always so glad to see another new episode. Love this channel and I'm glad to still see you all still out and doing this despite the change of climate in many areas. Been watching a long time and will always hold the game chasers channel in my top channels here on TH-cam. Keep up the great work.

One of our local stores had the SNES kiosk set up back in the day. One time in 1992, they had "Street Fighter II: The World Warrior" playing on it, and I was playing 2-player VS with a random kid there. I told him about the secret code that let's both players play as the same character, but I couldn't remember how to do it. They just so happened to have the Nintendo Power issue with the code in it on the shelf there, so I grabbed one and we looked the code up.
I found some show called The Bikini Open from 1990 or 1991, but the intro song doesn't sound like that unless they changed it like when they change the married with children song for the dvds.
