- In this special role reversal episode, Melvor and Dodongo take the center stage as Billy films them looking for retro gaming gold at the flea market. Somehow they come across a mega score, but will Melvor's epic blunder ruin it all?
This episode was on the season 3 DVD set from 5 years ago. The idea was always to keep it exclusive to that for a few years then release it on youtube. I'd say 5 years is longer than what was intended. It's been re-edited and cleaned up for the Blu-Ray release. I fixed some color and audio issues and updated other things. The youtube version of this is around 25 minutes long. However, the Patreon/Member version is the full 50-minute version.. The full 50-minute version will also be the version on the Blu-Ray. Think of this as a taste. The full version is almost twice the length with a ton more Dodongo drunk complaining and other nonsense.

It sadly favours consistency. I don't blame Billy at all for the time between episodes, I get it, but YT really fucked them on the algorithm end.
But I feel like a majority of the fans they do have, feel the same way you do. Those who know them LOVE them. - Popularity is a bit of a double-edged sword. Like, would you rather have 5 million subs with maybe a fifth of them being actually being engaged in your content, or a relatively small but extremely loyal fan base?
It really is such a shame that they aren't bigger though.

The TH-cam algorithm used to work that way, but people started uploading reaction videos everyday and easy to make TH-cam drama rose to the top (channels like leafy). The reason why we can observe this as currently untrue, is the success of animation channels. They upload very rarely but still earn substantial view counts.

Honestly for me, it's never been about you guys finding rare games. What brings me back to the channel is the good times you guys have and when you find nostalgia in looking back on old times.

Great Episode, one of my favorites now. Melvor and Dodongo really scored big time with those N64 Games, especially considering the time that they got there. Also, Billy's face was priceless when the Ghoulies 3 disc was missing.
@@darthkai8242 Well this was filmed 5 years back, Ghoulies probably wasn't on there back then. Also check out the price for Ogre Battle 64 its way more than 30 dollars, what you saw my friend on amazon was a repro. A legit copy goes for 110-125 range. Still a great episode ,it was so much fun to watch, wish I could hang and game hunt with the crew.
