Retro gaming collecting has about 50 years left. Before all the collections go straight to landfills. A entire new generation of kids don't have houses and live in tiny apartments barely big enough to fit a bed. Even if they wanted to collect things it won't be a option.

That’s awesome! Great pickups mort. The SNES in box was the reason we went all in hardcore collecting earlier this year it just sparked so many memories! We hope we can pass this along to our own noah when he grows up and can start playing hopefully pass it along to his friends as well keep the love alive.
I love your channel. I have been subscribed for a long time and I just love how its is not just game hunting its game history, mental health, with a story. I would love some more with NES being a collector. I will support what ever you do. Thank you Mort!
Great choices on your timeless games picks. I always hated the N64 controller, and never had an N64 as a kid. But I did play on my friend's and we loved the Pokemon Stadium minigames so much. And we loved Starfox 64. PS1 was my first console and I just recently picked up a working one (mine stopped reading discs), so I gotta go back and play some of my favorite games again. Also got a working GameCube so I can play through Melee again. I do find it hard to go back and play old games I've never played before, especially on a controller that is harder to get used to, but some games are just so great and intuitive that you can jump right into them and enjoy yourself. And though I've never loved sports games, I feel like I have vague memory of enjoying myself with Blades of Steel - probably at my grandparents' house because I never had an NES.
Great video! Found you randomly on TH-cam, I used to make game collecting videos back in the early 2000’s on TH-cam and seeing your videos wants me to get back to making content again. Always love game hunting, it’s just exceedigly harder now than it was 20 years ago.
I will say retro isnt dead. I find wild stuff all the time. Im 26 and a vhs collector finding my grail a pokemon edition vcr in a Savers. I just got a super famicom for $9 which I did a reshell on it to make it atomic purple. I want to say thank you for your positivity and I love the cinematography of your videos.
I started gaming in 1987. I started with the NES. I next got Sega, snes, ps1, ps2, xbox 360, xbox one s. For handhelds I have gameboy, gameboy advanced, nintendo ds, 3ds. I have mostly moved on from many older games. My nes, snes, ds, 3ds, and xbox one s still work. I also have an atari with games purchased outside of its native generation. I almost never play it. For me nostalgia only gets me to go back and play a game on rare occasions. A short list of games are ones I still complete when I play them on the rare occasions I play them. Tetris is the only game I still play with regularly for older systems.
One of my favourite games on the N64, and the one I had most enjoyment out of, is Blast Corps. I think it’s an under appreciated classic. After you complete your N64 games collection with the elusive manual, you could do “let’s play” videos of your top ten favourite childhood games; providing commentary, explaining just what they meant to you and why you love them so much.
Loved this video! Love to see a younger generation have such an interest in retro gaming! In regards to your channel once you've completed your quest of the Sculptors Cut manual... you have a real talent for creating thought provoking, heartfelt content that fits into a documentary style. With that said, I feel that you will continue to shine no matter what you decide to create; it will still be a quality and entertaining experience! Excited to see what the future will unfold.
Where does my decision making fall if I already liked and subscribed before I got to the PSA?! I know, I’ll make my number one decision sharing this with some friends. Spread the word and get this channel more known!! The production value is way higher than what the sub-count represents.
There is a type of retro gamer I have noticed is out there. They will have a Nintendo Entertainment System. There will be a small collection of games which always includes one of the Double Dragon titles. This subclassification of gamer will sell their system with all of those games.
On point and entertaining as always, Mort. 2 things I would like to say: Blades of Steel is indeed awesome, and how you explained why people would prefer old horror movies on VHS is the same reason i prefer playing retro games on a CRT. Not just because that's what i grew up with in the 80's, but it helps you see the game how the developers intended since it's what they had to work with at the time. Using the bluriness of the screen to blend pixels and create dithering effects, for example, it just isn't the same in HD no matter how many fancy filters you out on the screen 😅
@MortsGarage i managed to aquire a 14" Toshiba that only had 114 hours of use according to the service menu, so I have one that should last me many years. I also have a 27" Trinitron I mainly use for lightgun games, which is also something I find a HD display just can't match. I have 3 8" Trinitrons as well that all have composite inputs, but i mostly have those for the future if my other TV's stop functioning. By then I'm sure they will be impossible to find for a good price, but luckily my area is still lousy with with free CRT's nobody wants in their houses 😆
For the NES I would say the the original Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Bros 3, Mega Man 2, Metroid and Dr Mario would be my top 5. For SNES there's a ton of timeless classics. Super Mario World, DKC 1 and 2, Final Fantasy 4, 5 and 6, Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Zelda a Link to the Past, Earthbound, Chrono Trigger, Super Metroid, Fire Emblem Mystery of the Emblem and Geneology of the Holy War, Tetris Attack/Panel De Pon, Yoshi's Island, Star Fox, and so many more, the list goes on!
@@MortsGarage Really? I think the original Metroid still plays incredibly well. The controls and combat feel great, the only thing that might be harder to sell someone on is the difficulty.
@@legoboy-ox2kxI think the lack of an in game map is a tough sell to modern audiences. Seems like every iteration of Metroid after built off of the template here beautifully
Going back to older consoles, like NES or SNES, for sports is really fun even for a non-sports fan like myself. The games have to be distilled to its core, be digestable (ie, short), and easy to understand. So they all end up being more "arcade" vs "simulation" like it is today. I can't wait to play Blades of Steel with my pals as a non hockey fan as I am, I had fun with Hockey (NES) and this looks like a nice upgrade from that one.
One thing I'd love to see is more reviews of games in your collection. I feel that a lot of retro collecting channels used to showcase their enjoyment of their collection a lot more and a lot of channels have gotten away from that. A lot of channels have become more about whats the next new crazy thing they can find for the collection or crossing off the next grail on the list rather than enjoying the amazing collection they already have. Getting new stuff is cool, but I always love seeing what's in youtuber's collections, and see them be played, and hear their opinion on an obscure game they randomly pulled off the shelf. It may be daunting, but once the N64 collection is completed, I'd love to see you go through it and review every game, creating your own N64 database.
I'm born in 1998. I'm either a Millennial or Gen Z. I don't know which one. Lol. Anyway, I'm still kind of young. I enjoy collecting physical games more than just buying them digitally if the opportunity presents itself. However, if a game goes for $100 physically and $8 digitally, I'm going digital. I'm also the kind of person who open things up and experiences the things out of the box at least once. I am a Nintendo fan, so of course I'm interested in all of the Nintendo systems, but I'm not so much into Sega. I'm starting to get into Play Station, but Nintendo is still what I play the most. So, for younger people like me, I think it depends. I think if they grew up playing Nintendo games, I think Nintendo fans, new and old, would go back and play the classics at least once in some form or fashion.
Yes, they do. Younger than Gen Z as well, and proof of that is with Retro Rick's kid, also SeeJayAre's kid's too. A lot of Gen Z kid's usually start off with Mario related games, because their first console will be a Nintendo Switch, or later get in to retro games. A lot of parents who are gamers will introduce them into it like how they were and it usually makes kids more grounded, rather than playing competitive games like Fortnite, which isn't a great environment for them younger than 12 imo.
Have you gone to Retro Fest Arkansas? That’s Retro Rick’s gaming convention. Next year when you go to SEGE, please don’t run into the same issue with the airlines handling your luggage as this year, in fact, don’t buy as much there so you don’t have to put them in a separate suitcase that’s at risk; instead get enough to fit in you carry on bag.
Keep your content exactly the same. I don't care if you get the manual, the flea market format has been done, but you do it very well and are much more insightful with your content. I've not been sub'd that long, but I've watched almost all of your videos. I appreciate you letting me "soak up game" - I don't collect anymore other than signs but I appreciate being able to scratch that itch through you. You are so insightful and your videos provide me support and calm during one of my many, many bipolar/major depressive/ADHD/Manic situations and help me get through long days at my WFH job., I feel like I've known you forever. I love your content, please don't stop. I really really care about you, Mort. You are so precious and my favorite of your small niche group on youtube. PLEASE don't stop.
I'm from Canada eh so we all had Blades of Steel. Absolutely loved intermission getting to play that mini shooter. Super Spike V'ball on NES is on my top 4 list. Perfect game play and stage 1 music is beautiful.
I agree on Blades Of Steel on the NES, I am not a Hockey fan but i always enjoyed playing that with my friend back in the day. It is just like how most sports games these days have far better graphics, game play and etc.. but give me good ole RBI Baseball or Tecmo Bowl back in the day, far more enjoyment from it then than I do on any of them these days. My first system was Atari 2600 and while i hold a ton of nostalgia for it, and would one day like to own one again, there isnt a lot in way of fun replay to it, where as the NES does for me still.
Definitely feel like the Wii has some timeless experiences on it. As my nostalgia console, having all those games I played as a kid sure feels like I have done child me a service. Plus a lot of the games, like Wii Sports, Mario Kart, Mario Party 8 and Wario Ware Smooth Moves are all great casual multiplayer games that definitely kept a party night going when I have friends over, even in college and beyond.
Great bringing up Power Quest for the Gameboy. Its kind of an RPG as well as fighter. Since its about kids battling with action figure robots and you need to collect parts. Its an obscure title for sure. Only other thing like it on game boy is Metal Masters. As a Sega genesis collector there is such a great variety, to the point the games I appreciate the most as an Adult are not always the same ones I played as kid. I chalk that up to the games being made for an older audience to begin with, and I was not old enough to fully appreciate the design. I hope sega releases more collections Because they only recently acquired the the Technosoft games which are some of the highest quality non Sega published titles. Herzog Zwei, Thunderforce 3, Lightening force, Elemental Master, and Dragon's Fury. Your missing out if you have not tried these.
CEO Mort and Manager Noah. lol. I always love your content. From the flea market episodes, to the N64 competition quests and vendor shows, and the information and discussion. Easily one of my favorite channels to watch.
go for another set just pick your next reasonable console your passionate about would be a fun journey, maybe PS1 or better yet go for a full set of PS1 games that cross platform from N64 to keep the theme going.
Fantastic video Mort and its the same situation with retro toys driven by nostalgia. When that nostalgia dies then what will hold the value. There will always be the iconic pieces e.g. the original Optimus Prime, but those will be few and far between
Yo Mort I just found my first real good n64 bundle. For $70 it came with a console, 2 extra atomic purple controllers, Mario golf, starfox 64, Diddy Kong racing, Bomberman hero, beetle adventure racing, donkey Kong 64, and a not for resale Mario 64. And it came from a fraternity house on my college lol.
I think Atari and NES are very primitive gaming in the same way silent movies are very primitive movies. But people still go back and watch movies like wizard of oz or early Disney animation because they have a timeless quality too them. I really think the Super Nintendo generation is when developers really hit their stride and I find a lot of these games definitely have that timeless quality this coming from a gen z.
I remember there was a gimmick in Blades of Steel that you could play mini games on the jumbotron between periods. Maybe you needed a certain score to trigger it, I don't quite remember that these days.
I just enjoy your show sir. So many adventures and so many games, it's great to see. For an NES game I'd pick Rygar love that game, I'm beating Strider right now lol.
Rygar is tough for me to go back to thanks to the relative obtuseness of the level design. But I still try and play anyways because I remember really trying to love it as a kid.
I think there will always be a market and passion for retro gaming. But imo, the prices are ridiculous. It’s very hard for a lot of people to afford to buy and play retro games on original hardware. Emulation is a great alternative, but I hope prices will eventually come down so more people can actually afford to play on original hardware. EDIT: Forgot to say, recently found your channel and have been really loving the vids. All of your videos are high quality and well thought out. The stories you tell are great. Keep up the amazing work.
I would put Mario 2 on the list for nes. the very smooth run, jump and throw mechanics. along with it's beautiful graphics, still hold up to this day. I believe anyone who has never played this game, would instantly enjoy it
Any type of hard core collecting is a niche market. Most people can't afford these retro systems or games. The only way most people can access or play them is through emulation, which, for all practical purposes, is the same experience, except for the controller.
In my experience, it’s not as crazy as it seems. Many amazing games can be found for really reasonable prices still. But, as games become collectibles who knows how much longer that will last?
I'm one of those people who doesn't know what they want until they see it, so sometimes I will go through an entire flea market and come home with nothing and other times I might come out with 1-3 things it just depends. I don't consider myself Gen Z even though I am because Ive always tried to distance myself as far away as possible from most of those "morons" who do all the stupid challenges and stuff but I did grow up in the early 2000s and I was always fascinated by old retro games even though I grew up with a Gamecube and Wii and Gameboy Advance SP/DS Lite. Particularly the N64 caught my attention the most because I was amazed at the graphical differences between the N64 and the gamecube but at the same time they were so similar to play and I always wanted to play Donkey Kong 64 and Banjo Kazooie and I used to play Ocarina of Time and Majora's with the Legend of Zelda's collectors edition for the gamecube. I did go through a phase where I collected NES, SNES, and Genesis games too but that was because I borrowed a Genesis and Sonic the Hedgehog 1 and 2 and also The Lion King from my friend's stepdad and loved it. Edit: also I'm surprised at how much retro game prices have changed in just 10-15 years... like back in the early 2010s I was picking up NES, SNES, and Genesis games for literally $5 or less. It was great as a young teen with no money lol. I have a bunch of retro things I've inherited from my uncle as well like that NES ROB robot thing and I did find a game for it at goodwill but don't think I've ever actually used it but its in its original nes/rob combo box in my closet and I forget about it most of the time but it's missing the nes console since someone stole that from my uncle but I can still use it on this Retron 3 thing I used to use. I'm just rambling at this point but my favorite game for the gamecube has always been Starfox Adventures. I tend to replay it every 1-2 years but it was also my first game I had back when I was 4 and broke my leg and had a full body cast so all I could do was play either Starfox Adventures or Scooby Doo Night of 100 Freights. I don't think it's all nostalgia though because I own 150+ gamecube games and have most of the good ones and the ones I always go back to are Starfox Adventures, Wind Waker and Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask, Simpsons Hit and Run, Pokemon Gale of Darkness, Super Mario Sunshine, Paper Mario The Thousand Year Old Door, and I usually replay all 3 Scooby Doos In order lol. Also the Harry Potter Games mainly the first 3 though I never enjoyed playing Goblet of Fire.
@@MortsGarage star fox Assault was completely different, I just love Starfox Adventures because it reminds me of Legend of Zelda in a way with all the different puzzles and stuff and I also love the story but I do see how it could be confusing the first playthrough if you don't understand where to go
Certainly playing older games can be harder. For example an older NES games are a bit unforgiving and too hard. I may not go back to those games, even though I have memories of playing it when I was younger. With that being said I’m always looking for older NES games I’ve never played. Like Wacky Races, or Mega Man 2. I find myself looking back more then forward with current Gen games. Also influence can really make an impact on the younger generation. If someone or something introduces them to retro gaming they may get interested. Lots of thoughts..Just a great topic for discussion! Nice video!
Love seeing NHL 94, and any good sports game for that matter, get some recognition. However I will say I prefer NHL 95. I looked forward to each year of the NHL series as a kid with my brother and we played 94 a ton but 95 always just felt crisper and faster so I think that's why I prefer it. Perhaps a little too easy too score though! That being said it's an all-time classic and I love it (and the Genesis intro/title screen music - so good)
Interestingly, I always favoured Blades of Steel over Ice Hockey but when I really got to spend time with the latter, I think it is the better one to play with.
Have you rented from Blockbuster growing up and at the time you started collecting for the N64? I think your first console was an NES, then Game Boy, then SNES and the first one you bought was the N64.
Such an awesome video Mort. I would say Chrono Trigger and Earthbound are the standards for SNES JRPGs. I personally loved Mario RPG. It was the first RPG I really got into. Also, my first Street Fighter experience was on Gameboy with Street Fighter 2. Such a great handheld fighter.

Keep it up, I always look forward to your next video and I know I'm not alone there!
Haha - yes, there are circumstances. I'll post a "what happened" part of things at the end. But it's almost done.
That’s awesome! Great pickups mort. The SNES in box was the reason we went all in hardcore collecting earlier this year it just sparked so many memories! We hope we can pass this along to our own noah when he grows up and can start playing hopefully pass it along to his friends as well keep the love alive.
LOVE THIS! And we are lucky to have you guys as a part of this community too
@@MortsGarage daww we appreciate that so much! It’s been fun and the community has been AMAZING!
I love your channel. I have been subscribed for a long time and I just love how its is not just game hunting its game history, mental health, with a story. I would love some more with NES being a collector. I will support what ever you do. Thank you Mort!
How kind of you- thanks for saying so!
That controller truly is a barrier - I'm a sucker for arcadey sports titles, but I think part of that is their approachability
Alright Mort. Much love from the north of England. MSR on the dreamcast was the pinnacle of racing for me. Take it easy and keep it up.
I need to play that game!!!
Great video! Found you randomly on TH-cam, I used to make game collecting videos back in the early 2000’s on TH-cam and seeing your videos wants me to get back to making content again. Always love game hunting, it’s just exceedigly harder now than it was 20 years ago.
Right on! Thanks for stopping by. I’d love to see you get back in the TH-cam game. Let me know when the next video drops :)
Awesome finds - and thank you for your kind words :)
megaman 2 .. my fav game! i know it's kinda trendy to say that .. but .. it's true! love that game!! so many memories!!
Still great after all these years 😊
@@MortsGarage i'm actually good at it too! that and the first two ninja gaidens!! thems be my jams!! lol God bless you so much Mort!!
Tetris is still great!!
Try as I may, I’ve never gotten into Blast Corps. I’m probably due for another play of it though.
That’s a great idea re the content!
Really appreciate this vote of confidence!
Where does my decision making fall if I already liked and subscribed before I got to the PSA?!
I know, I’ll make my number one decision sharing this with some friends. Spread the word and get this channel more known!! The production value is way higher than what the sub-count represents.
That’s awesome - thanks!!!
There is a type of retro gamer I have noticed is out there. They will have a Nintendo Entertainment System. There will be a small collection of games which always includes one of the Double Dragon titles. This subclassification of gamer will sell their system with all of those games.
We find ourselves rooting for Noah, just as a human….we hope life treats him well.
He's an outstanding person - we are all huge fans of him!
I couldn’t agree more re CRTs! The look of an 8 bit game (or n64, etc) on a CRT is suuuuuch a huge thing that emulators can’t touch.
Im here for the game hunt interspersed with moments that make me think about why im doing what I'm doing when it comes to game hunting and collecting.
So it shall remain :)
@@MortsGarage then so shall I.
Wow Mort that was so generous of you to buy the SNES for Noah! Really made his day!
He bought it :) But I wasn't about to stand in his way!
Before watching, the answer is yes. I'm a Gen Z
🙌
Im Gen Z and I have to say YES, it'll live on for a long time. I recently got into collecting retro games and I absolutely love it.
So rad!
For JRPG on the SNES don't miss the 2 Lufia games timeless classics
Great selections, but Metroid feels like a pretty tough sell to gamers who’ve never played NES before. Hmm….
Mike Tyson’s punch out is timeless and is till my favorite game of all time.
I 100% agree - GREAT choice
I absolutely love the mix of hunting and insight, as always! Keep it up brother 😊
LOVE YOU FAM!
Excellent episode. The flow, pacing, all of it. Keep it up Mort, I know this took a ton of love and work
Thanks so much - I love making these!
I think the Quintet quartet on the SNES are pretty timeless: Actraiser, Soul Blazer, Illusion of Gaia and Terranigma! So is your theme tune
I actually love ActRaiser - great choice
Going back to older consoles, like NES or SNES, for sports is really fun even for a non-sports fan like myself. The games have to be distilled to its core, be digestable (ie, short), and easy to understand. So they all end up being more "arcade" vs "simulation" like it is today. I can't wait to play Blades of Steel with my pals as a non hockey fan as I am, I had fun with Hockey (NES) and this looks like a nice upgrade from that one.
Great observation re why they were so fun!
I actually filmed 4 videos highlighting games for this very reason :) Time will tell if people care. I hope they will!
Thanks for sharing your experience!
So agree with this - the competitive element is significant
Have you gone to Retro Fest Arkansas? That’s Retro Rick’s gaming convention. Next year when you go to SEGE, please don’t run into the same issue with the airlines handling your luggage as this year, in fact, don’t buy as much there so you don’t have to put them in a separate suitcase that’s at risk; instead get enough to fit in you carry on bag.
Thanks man :) Yeah, haven’t been to Rick’s event but heard it’s awesome!
I'm from Canada eh so we all had Blades of Steel. Absolutely loved intermission getting to play that mini shooter.
Super Spike V'ball on NES is on my top 4 list. Perfect game play and stage 1 music is beautiful.
Ooooh - I need to play Superspike!!
Those old sports games are still some of my favorites
Definitely feel like the Wii has some timeless experiences on it. As my nostalgia console, having all those games I played as a kid sure feels like I have done child me a service. Plus a lot of the games, like Wii Sports, Mario Kart, Mario Party 8 and Wario Ware Smooth Moves are all great casual multiplayer games that definitely kept a party night going when I have friends over, even in college and beyond.
GREAT choices!
No way! I didn't realize they got those licenses
CEO Mort and Manager Noah. lol. I always love your content. From the flea market episodes, to the N64 competition quests and vendor shows, and the information and discussion. Easily one of my favorite channels to watch.
Thanks man - the love is mutual. Love the conversations you’re cultivating on your end of the internet. Would be fun to do something together!
@MortsGarage totally agree! Down the road for sure!
Just finished watching this episode another masterpiece I love how you break down all the games keep the great videos coming brother mort.

@@MortsGarage you're 1000% welcome
go for another set just pick your next reasonable console your passionate about would be a fun journey, maybe PS1 or better yet go for a full set of PS1 games that cross platform from N64 to keep the theme going.
I think i'm done with full set collecting, but I have some ideas on redefining what it means to have a collection. Appreciate your ideas!
Two videos in a row with that catchy theme song!! Oh happy days! Thanks Mort appreciate all the hard work.
My pleasure :)
Donkey Kong country 2 on the game boy was my first and favorite game.
Sweet!!
Really enjoyed this video, especially the timeless games part. Thank you!
Cheers - thanks for watching!
Fantastic video Mort and its the same situation with retro toys driven by nostalgia. When that nostalgia dies then what will hold the value. There will always be the iconic pieces e.g. the original Optimus Prime, but those will be few and far between
Toys will be really interesting as well 🧐
This is the height of maturity but I always thought college slam sounded like an adult movie 😂 right up there with the golf game 13 great holes
Uhhhhh…
Yo Mort I just found my first real good n64 bundle. For $70 it came with a console, 2 extra atomic purple controllers, Mario golf, starfox 64, Diddy Kong racing, Bomberman hero, beetle adventure racing, donkey Kong 64, and a not for resale Mario 64. And it came from a fraternity house on my college lol.
Amazing find!!
Always enjoy the videos, the theme song is always the icing on the cake. 🤘
Long live the theme song :)
Totally agree with this. I appreciate the older stuff, but I don't often try and play it.
Had to pause quick to comment. Blades of Steel is IMO the GOAT of hockey video games. Now back to the video.
Keep watching...lol
I remember there was a gimmick in Blades of Steel that you could play mini games on the jumbotron between periods. Maybe you needed a certain score to trigger it, I don't quite remember that these days.
Excellent memory :)
That theme song makes me sooo happy everytime. Thanks Mort!
FoSHO!!
Favourite channel and favourite human on youtube ❤

Thank you Mort! I deeply appreciate your kind words. Still struggling but I keep moving forward. May you and your family have a great day.
Black belt, Fantasy Zone, and the Ninja were my favorites for the master system.
Never heard of Black Belt or Ninja. Gonna give em a go
I think there will always be a market and passion for retro gaming.
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment! I'm glad you're here
I would put Mario 2 on the list for nes. the very smooth run, jump and throw mechanics. along with it's beautiful graphics, still hold up to this day. I believe anyone who has never played this game, would instantly enjoy it
Great choice - by today’s standards would you still pick it over Mario 3?
Love your work Mort! I'm here for it! 🙏

Hooked on Top Gear Rally N64 right now. Played it alot with my cousin as a kid. I must complete it 😂 Physical retro will never die 🤗

Just such a joy to watch your videos.
Thank you for watching!!
Great choices! I need to properly go through SFA. I wanted to love but just couldn't stand Star Fox Assault.

Nice video!
Great thoughts - thanks for commenting!

@MortsGarage cheers Mort! Also that vhs getting sold inspired me to go out and look for vhs horror at my local good will
Love seeing NHL 94, and any good sports game for that matter, get some recognition. However I will say I prefer NHL 95. I looked forward to each year of the NHL series as a kid with my brother and we played 94 a ton but 95 always just felt crisper and faster so I think that's why I prefer it. Perhaps a little too easy too score though! That being said it's an all-time classic and I love it (and the Genesis intro/title screen music - so good)
You have excellent taste in games!
Super Hang On for the Sega Genesis is the best racer I have played.
Interestingly, I always favoured Blades of Steel over Ice Hockey but when I really got to spend time with the latter, I think it is the better one to play with.
Both are great, but I recently played BoS with a friend and we couldn’t put the controller down :)
From what I saw of the game footage here, Generations Lost looks almost exactly like Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure.

Have you rented from Blockbuster growing up and at the time you started collecting for the N64? I think your first console was an NES, then Game Boy, then SNES and the first one you bought was the N64.
That’s not too far off. I don’t recall the exact time line but I absolutely loved renting from Blockbuster :)
Love it - My daughter and I are playing through SMRPG on SNES right now!
Seicross is really fun. A friend of mine's mom gave me that and a few other boxed nes games a few years back. It's def in my play rotation.
