  • After a lovely afternoon and evening in Limerick, it was time to get up early and catch the train to Dublin. It proved a great decision as the morning light across the fields of Ireland was wonderful and it made the journey feel really special.
    This continues my very short tour around Ireland, discovering some of the town and rail routes of this beautiful country.
    Departure: Limerick Colbert, Ireland
    Destination: Dublin Heuston, Ireland
    Distance: 175 km / 109 miles
    Duration: 2 hrs 17 mins
    Cost: Advance adult flexi single €14,99 / £13.20
    Date of Travel: September 2022
    Operator: Irish Rail / Iarnród Éireann
    Motive power: Class 22000 diesel multiple unit. (Rotem, S Korea 2007-2012)

    @10:44 - the absolute epitome of smoker attitudes. No smoking signs clearly displayed and the smoker proceeds to light up.

      haha yes I see what you mean! Just replayed it to have a look. In his defence, he was in the doorway to light up out of the wind and he is immediately stepping out into the plaza.
      Thanks for watching all the way to end! I still have a comparatively small channel, so I'm thrilled when people take the time to watch what I've created. Thank you for your time.

    How did you get his ‘airplane’ seat? Just luck? Or is it possible to select it during the reservation?

    • @JohnnyHooverTravels
      @JohnnyHooverTravels  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you can select your seat when booking. I used the Irish Rail app (on iPhone) when booking. I'm sure if you booked at a ticket office they could also give you your preferred seat.
