I said on the night and I'll say it again: this CitizenCon really felt like CIG changing gears and getting ready to flick the nitrous switch. The highlights for me were the following: 1. Dynamic weather. 2. The Glaciem Ring looked fantastic. 3. Castra was surprising and, checking Starmap, I realised how many 2-3 planet systems there are. This bodes well for speeding up system delivery. 4. SQ42. I revise my pick of July '26 to May '26. I'd almost put money on ILW as it makes the most sense. As far as the playthrough goes...man, I felt for CR. That was surely a Han moment, "It's not my fault!" It's not my fault!"
@@Bell_the_Cat the simple nature of most of the systems is one of the reasons why I never thought the hundred systems thing was undoable. Take a bit, sure, but possible. And yeah - ILW would make a ton of sense
The org stuff (for me) was very underwhelming until they teased that I might be able to have a shirt with the org logo. That got my attention. The clothing made me nervous. While there are no classes, the clothing really kinda made it seem like min/maxing into defacto classes, and I hate the idea of pilots wear "this suit" and fighters wear "that" suit to be competitive. The worm just seemed like a guild raid mechanic. Overall, I enjoyed this year's content. I'm really curious about the professions. I mean race fixer/fraud as a game loop? wth? lol Anyway, I always tell anyone that will listen and the cats, it's all theorycraft if the servers can't hang.
This CitCon was so dense, I forgot about Citizenship till a few days later.
@@g8trdone yeah, there was…a LOT
Thanks mate!

I am kinda sad that we didn't see a mid sized salvager
@@faristhehonest I think it might be coming. Maybe. I mean, salvager lineup is missing a few slots at the moment, for sure
Fortune may favour you with your wish.
21.02...looks like an Apollo to me
@@andrewcoulthard-clark huh - you’re right - certainly could be. They did a ton of work on it in the last couple years
