@@GunsandTactics Geissele National Match DMR trigger, Mega Maten set (these are still avail from JSE for something like 40% off since Zev bought Mega) Krieger, Bartlien, or Proof Research barrels, SLR gas block, APA little bastard brake, JP BCG there's really is the best BCG I've found, and if you're using a carbine buffer tube Primary Weapons Systems PWS Enhanced Buffer Tube with Ratchet Lock.
JP make really, really nice stuff out of the box, without having to go stupid lego. I have an LRP-07 in 6.5CM and I've found it effective out to over a mile. I really cannot think of a better semi-auto rifle out of the box - they are simply awesome rifles.
I agree. At first the price seems a little tough to grasp but shooting one makes you know the quality is worth it. I was really impressed shooting this rifle
Awsome rifle…I’ve got my dd5v3 set up very similar with 3x15 viper prs stock and bipod ssa e trigger 419 break and surefire 640df..slung with a vickers padded sling and have a d50 plugged in at the moment loaded with m118lr 175 matchkings loaded with 46gr of 4350..love a echo trigger to try…
CTR Stock is for a carbine buffer tube, so as is it wouldn’t work. If you do swap tubes I’d go with Mil-Spec and then run the JP silent captured spring system
Price depends on build but will start around 3k. I know 308 6.5cm there might be others as well. Check their website for their rifle builder for the best info
bro that's an Alberta tactical rifle supplies modern hunter replica.. well idono who made it first but u could get the modern hunter for years now.. well I guess the only thing they share is the side charging handle
Coming in the review video. While I didn’t shoot paper had no problem making steel hits at 900. Hoping to get more access to a range with more distance.

Fuck! I just bought B&T APC9 SD and B&T APC9 Pro. There’s just to many wants (guns) and not enough funds 😜🔫🤪🔫🤣🔫🥰😘 I want their JP GMR9 and that one u just reviewed. I am going broke, sir! Thanks for the review!
I would love to see that, I get it JP makes expensive stuff but their quality is also top notch. Don’t get me wrong there are other nice rifles but when you look at top level large frame precision guns quality doesn’t come cheap.
@@GunsandTactics I stand by what I said JP's rifle's are high quality but they do not represent the best products available on the market. Their barrels are button rifled which doesn't deliver the same accuracy as a single point cut rifled barrel from Bartlien or Krieger. Yes JP barrels shoot well but again button rifling cannot match the same level of steel uniformity as single point cut rifling therefore the accuracy will not be as good. The Geissele National Match DMR bar none is the best precision AR trigger money can buy the JP trigger is not. I perfer an SLR gas block over JP's design which isn't as slim. Their brake is ok but something like the APA little bastard is a better design with the large jam nut so you can remove it and retime it easily if you want to direct thread on a can. Their reciever set is ok I think Mega Arms built the best recievers on the market before they were bought by Zev. There are better rails on the market than what JP is using. I do think they build the best BCG's that I've seen though using one in your rifle will make the action feel like it's running on ball bearings. You can absolutely piece together a better rifle that has better parts and when the JP's MSRP is $3500 I think it'd be easy to match or maybe even beat that price.
Thanks for the reply, I have a Mega MATEN MKM and a few of the their monolithic uppers both small frame and large frame. I agree Mega made nice sets, that being said I think the new JP is actually a nicer set. The machining, side charger and lock up are all better on the jp. Triggers and small parts will always be a debate. I love geissele and have probably 15 of their various triggers, believe me I am fan, but the JP triggers are no slouch either. Barrels are another topic, its a good time to be a shooter as we have so many good choices that all shoot very well.
@@GunsandTacticsBarrel quality isn't really much of a debate is a matter using the best materials and manufacturing methods and button rifling is not the best possible manufacturing method. IDK I don't think gave up anything in machining quality or tolerances on JP. Mega was known for their tolerances and machining quality. I also think Mega's anodizing was better I think they dipped their products longer it and resulted in IMO better looking deep black but also and most importantly in a harder surface than typical matte black anodizing. Things that would scratch the hell out of standard matte anodizing don't leave a mark on Mega's sets they are noticeably harder.
Mega made some damn nice stuff that’s for sure, sad that they aren’t around in the same fashion. I wont be getting rid of my mega stuff but they will probably see less range time once the JP makes it way home.
I never pushed on a like button so hard. It's between this and sword international mk17. The JP is winning me over
@dople ganger you know how I know you're gay?
It was pretty damn awesome
You can build a better rifle that uses better parts for the same or less money.
Like which parts? Genuinely curious

GUNS & TACTICS To see what I paid for it here in Switzerland would make you cry.
Awesome rifle! I purchased this in 6.5 Creedmoor for gas gun PRS competition style shooting. Shoots lights out!
I know you guys are so used to it on your side of the planet but the snow part is what makes this video awesome. 😊
It was pretty funny to see it come down so quick
I bought a noveske over jp 4 years ago. I want a jp now
Both great brands. I’ve had great rifles from both. I do really love my JPs though :-)
How many rounds bolt carrier may last in 7.62 version.
Interesting tripod set up @ 12:48. Can you share any information about it?
It is a Crux tripod, super stable but also expensive. I want one :-)

Lol that blizzard came out of nowhere
Yes it did. Funny because as we were driving home clear and sunny.
Way to step it up JP!!!
what tripod and clamp is that?
Great review. Can i use CTR stock on JP rifle 18” with rifle length buffer tube? Also should i get commercial or milspec CTR stock for my JP rifle?
CTR Stock is for a carbine buffer tube, so as is it wouldn’t work. If you do swap tubes I’d go with Mil-Spec and then run the JP silent captured spring system
GUNS & TACTICS thankyou bro. 👍
Bought an mr762a1 kind of wishing I didn't
How much does it weigh?
this is top quality
Nice ! What is the name (brand) of the cradle attached to the tripod?
I’ll find out
Crux Ordnance
I should clarify that the whole tripod system including the saddle/clamp, is from Crux Ordnance.
Thanks Ben
Can you shoot this suppressed? I don't see a threaded barrel
The barre is threaded and can accept muzzle devices or suppressors
What length barrel is on the one you shot?
I believe it was an 18” 308. They have various lengths available.
InkwellFoto 18”
How far can the 18” barrel shoot accurately.. 1000 yards? I’m ordering one and debating between 18 and 20”.
Is that a 18 inch or 20 inch barrel ?
I think that one was a 20” but it’s been a while :-). For what it’s worth I ordered an 18” 308. Can’t wait till it arrives probably late summer

How is this any different than the rifle they collaborated with Remington on a few years ago?
I’m not familiar with them working on a Remington project. Which model?

I'm seeing way too many forward assists when there should be exactly none.
check out the modern hunter from ATRS this gun is a clone with an added forward assist lol
