    Do you have any issues with the rim lock leaking?
    Thanks for your help,

    What size are your rims? How did you know what tires to buy for them

    • @DarrenMcKinney1
      @DarrenMcKinney1  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My rims are 17 front and 14 rear. You will know the size of tyre by the writing on the side of it. It will say something like 100/80 r14. That will give you the correct tyre size you need

    Hi, What oil do you use in your pitbike ? Plus how long do you recommend going easy to break in a brand new m2r rf140

    • @DarrenMcKinney1
      @DarrenMcKinney1  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, I use 10w40 semi synthetic oil in mine and change it roughly every 100 miles or 5 hours.
      I wouldn’t be a believer of breaking in an engine too gently. Just get her up to temperature about 3 times without revving it too high and let it cool down completely each time. Change the oil fairly soon after this as you will find a fair amount of metal filings in it due to it being new so it’s usually nothing to worry about.
      I hope this helps you out and enjoy your new bike!

      @@DarrenMcKinney1 sorry I should of been more specific with my wording, I meant what brand of oil do you use in yours ? That's good to no thanks for the reply. I was thinking of getting a magnetic sump plug to catch the shavings but I'm to eager to wait for it to come now without riding it

    • @DarrenMcKinney1
      @DarrenMcKinney1  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@therathunter1814 ok. I use comma 10w40 semi synthetic oil in it at the moment but if you wanted to put in a really good oil I would use any of the Motul 10w40 oils. They are all good. I use the 300v racing oil when I’m looking a better oil as we keep it in our local motor factors but it can be expensive. But as I said any of the motul 10w40 range will
      be good enough
