I'm 74 years old and this is the best 63.5 Fastback Galaxy I've ever seen. All the details totally blows my mind.

@ScottieDTV I have a 1963 4 door all matching numbers original motor transmission no dents all bumpers,allglass,alloriginal tiers most of the interior original I'm restoring g .It came with a 352 two barrel.,I have a 390,and a crate 68 427 no miles I don't tell many people about .I got the car from a older couple they bought it originally .it has 220,000 actual miles.The woman's husband died two years ago I think she's 93 ,94 .I'm excited about cleaning it up and restori g it .

He said “put your eyes on the nuts!
Could do without the rear break vents and the exhaust violating out. But I like that color. I’m putting on stock car era tires/wheels baby moons and chrome trim rings.

My brother in law had one with 390 big block with a 4speed top loader beautiful car I was hoping to get to drive her didn't get the. Chance he would drag race with roadrunner and gtx and good friend he had Chevrolet ss 396 those were the good old days

Where are the vertical chrome and black trim pieces that were placed on the rear quarters between the long chrome strips on an XL?
It's custom? ...All I know is in the video....
Not only an awesome build ,done right with all the fab work and suspension,dtrain. One thing only for me would be a 5 or 6 speed to drive it till the bearings wear out. great build

'60 & '61 Galaxie Starliners are cooler than these.
I spent much time with a buddy in high school that had a 63 1/2 427 Galaxie. Lots of chrome, beautiful console and interior. Once rolling it was fast, but was very hard on rearends.

How much did the original car plus the restoration cost? Can you break it down into the different restoration parts, ie motor and drive train, suspension parts, body and paint, interior etc?

It Had That "Kickin Ass Sound".....

There's just something about these early 60's Galaxies. They're big, but they ride low and they ride long and just look sleek. Much better than any Impala of the time.
Cool is cool...but I have to say a 62 impala makes a pretty cool hot rod to...lol...but I love this Galaxie...

I like this car, but Impalas are smoother than any galaxie thats why theyr so sought after. From speaking to some people over the years its mostly the tail lights that are what draws them away from these

Somehow this one got by me bro. I'm a big Galaxie fan from when I was a kid. Very clean and beautiful Scottie. I dig the color, Galaxie Blue. That's a proper name for it for sure. The thing is. I would want to drive it everyday. Not a big fan of trailer queens bro. Cars are meant for driving. What's the point of having a nice car if ya can't drive it everyday. Just sayin' Very cool brother.
