I've always lived thru music, but my mini-me has taught me how to love thru it too. A medical precedure took his precious little voice away & I use to be so sad & angry he had this happen to him. Until I realized what was taken away is nothing compared to the blessings we have gained to truly conversate without spoken word!! Music is poetry put to a beat. My mini-me is now a man these days, but once upon a time I held his tiny lil premie body next to my heart & wished he could stay my baybee boi for always. I don't think people realize how good his voice is. This was recorded with one mic, wich was come distance away from the both of them. No artificial reverb or anything of the sort, just a jam on a great song, recorded right there. Theren't a ton of artists out there that would gladly jam out with just a guitar and a voice and let it go.

Lyrics come really easy to him so he wrote them in a couple of hours and we finished the track.
aloe is a very talented person used to rap and now he's killing the charts with his voice but he doesn't get enough recognition therefore making him under rated

Sarah Rollins Aloe actually wrote the song but was not given credit. If they had found another singer Aloe Blacc should have still been given a writing credit, really sole writing credit for the lyrics anyway because Avicci didn't write any of the lyrics.
I'm almost positive that Aloe got a large chunk of income by being on the track. Also record labels discuss and have detailed contracts of how certain tracks are released. It all depends what the company agrees on. If people are really gonna get mad, they shouldn't be mad at the artists, they should be mad at the record label corporations. It's actually a frequent occurrence where some tracks have the producer be the face of the song and other times the artist/singer. Before people jump the gun and just get angry, they should really do the proper research of what actually goes on, including business behind the scenes.

In this case, yeah it does. I don't mind electronic beats if they're used right... but the regular version's beat is just... weird. It doesn't match the tone of the rest of the song at all.
The Wayward Llama I don't mind Electronic music but when it's in a different setting, my type of music is Alternative rock , metal and heavy metal, I like the words to my songs to have meaning and the meaning of this songs goes much better without the electronic sound that was chosen in my opinion, you get the true feeling with just the basic sounds and the singers voice :)

I don't think people understand that Avicii's version is the original, not a remix. Avicii developed the melody, then asked Aloe to write and sing the lyrics. The acoustic version came later. True story, Google it!
No offense or racism intended, but when I heard Avicii's version, I thought it was a blue-eyed, white, Josh Turner-type guy singing the vocals. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out it was a person of color. His voice is typical of cookie cutter white baritone country singers and I am very very impressed with his chops. Mad talent!
