Look at the VW ID.4 door handles - they’ve had a similar design for years now. Their handle can be pulled hard enough to function as a regular door handle in an emergency just like the interior door handle on this one. The button makes it a breeze to open the door (not that opening doors is hard already but it’s a fun touch).

The fact that I had to look up the engine assuming you were just joking means I put too much faith in the car industry. Even the sport models have a 2.4l. Making decent power, sure, but can we really not just throw in a V6 and call it a day? I mean no one is buying this to take to a track but I'd feel much better with a naturally aspirated V6 even if it makes less power. I'd say V8 but I know how Japan is.

As an auto Detailer I’m a huge fan of removable cupholders! One of the biggest issues with family SUVs is how difficult they are to clean. Lexus found a way to keep the interior high end and attractive while also appearing simple to clean
