most informative fishing channel on youtube, you explain everything thoroughly and clearly, not just in this video but in all your videos. Awesome stuff.
I did my first catch and cook last year with some stockie rainbow trout. I smoked them after a 1hr brine. Best trout I've ever had. When you used that brown butter to cook that Porgie, I almost lost my mind!
Why does openings the stomach give a sense of pleasure? I've been doing it since I was 5yo.... maybe I need a therapist, does anyone else feel the same?
Good thing it's lunch time here but Now I have a Craving for yellowtail which I won't be able to satisfy until I make it to FL this fall. Dam You, Steve. On the other hand, it's my one fault, I knew what was coming! Good job!
Patch reefs. Just head out about three miles and find some structure. Anchor, chum bag, drift baits back. Or bounce live shrimp along the bottom as you drift.
Steve i have a question... do you search for parasites when you catch fish? the other day i was filleting a fish that i caught and i found some small transparent/ wormlike parasites atached to the skin of the fish and i thought "hmmm what if they are inside too? how do i know it if im going to cook it whole?" now im worried about cooking a fish whole hahaha, there is any way to know if they are infected? or i can only know that by filleting it?
Those are sea live. Just on the outside. But there are pretty much worms in all fish. They are just common parasites. There are none that will cause harm to you. They will die if you freeze or cook them. Saltwater fish have less than fresh water. Fish like Amberjacks have a lot of big ones. Just added protein. No different than all the bugs in a chocolate bar or fruit products.
Great video as always Steve. Just my personal preference but I can't understand the use of butter, a byproduct of a cow to "flavor" the already natural sweetness of a freshly caught fish... I've never consumed dairy so I guess I'm missing out on something because this seems to be common practice.
You really should get a small roasting pan , that aluminum foil will kill you especially with that lemon you will be eating about 400mg of aluminum witch can lead to alzheimer's and memory lose. ps: no joking around look it up yourself O and love your channel keep up the great shit man

Thanks. That means i did a good job.
Nice meal and recipe. I like the cricket noises in the background.... relaxing sounds. thanks steve
Yea, its like living in the bush down here. Crickets, frogs, chickens, cat fights, transvestites...
Hah. Cats fights, transvestites and chickens probably don't make good background white noise. :-)
Very clever gill/gut cuts. I will have to try that soon.
Yea, quick and easy way.
Great way to cook fish, simple and delicious!
Exactly.
It doesn't get any fresher than that!!!

That is the key. I know its whole history.
Why does openings the stomach give a sense of pleasure? I've been doing it since I was 5yo.... maybe I need a therapist, does anyone else feel the same?
Well it is kind of a strategist kind of thing. Match the hatch. Or maybe you like to wrap yourself in other peoples skin. Then it might be a problem.
I would eat Fish Every day if i lived where you live. Man I'm jealous in a good way though. thanks for sharing once again Steve it looks amazing.
Gotta have my fast food though.

It was tasty and hit the spot.
Happy days alright :-) Enjoy
Thanks. It hit the spot. Hard to cook when you are starving and having to film it.
Steve ..... My man !!! You deliver? Looks great . Awesome meal brother
I do FedEx.
That's some good eats 🍴🍹
Quick and easy. It sucked because I was hungry as hell and still had to film it all .
Great, now I have to try potato salad stuffed grilled bell peppers. Guess I know what I'll be having sometime this week.
It's actually really good and looks like you created a thoughtful dish. LOL.
Nice quick and easy, Steve where can I target the yellows in key largo tarvenier etc?
Patch reefs. Just head out about three miles and find some structure. Anchor, chum bag, drift baits back. Or bounce live shrimp along the bottom as you drift.
Key West Kayak Fishing awesome thanks bro
New grill !!!!! yeah
Cost me a hooker and some blow.
hooray head on, fish brains are the best.
Yea, I was hungry. Eating like a zombie.
steve, you need to film yourself eating it. like a mukbang.. this looks good.
Some I do, some I don't. Check out my catch and cook playlists for the history on that.
Steve - if you would, please add the casting nets you use under the equipment list. Thanks!
Will do next edit round. Check out my cast net playlists for the breakdown.
Nice ending
Appreciate it Ben.
Awesome video enjoyed watching it a lot!!! I just started doing catch and cook videos, leaving a thumbs up
Great now I'm hungry :D
Then I did it up right.
LOL! Thank You. And I went.
No problem. Good deal.
you should get a big green egg. another great video by the way
Those dudes are expensive. Out of my price range for a bbq.
Yea, you could buy a new pit every year for life for what those things cost and high dollar appliances (pits) don't make you a better cook.
Great vid again! have you yried a wire brush to descale fish? thanks Jay.
Nah, the serving fork rules.
How long and what temperature
hi Steve , what kind of camera are you using for your night filming like 6:20?
Panasonic G7. Most important is the work light converted to filming light.
Use scissors and clip those fins off before scaling. Fins out of the way and less likely to poke yourself. Looks good, Bon appetit!
Extra work. That is why the service fork. Gets on both sides and keeps your fingers away.
Hello Steve, great vid as usual bra, nice tail tho keep those vid coming 👍🇨🇺
Will do. Gotta do some reef action every once in a while.

Yea, just like people that don't eat Bacon. Your missing out.
How long on average you cook fish for?the snapper in this case.
4-5 minutes on each side. Moderate heat.
why a fork and not a butter knife to scale the fish? Just wondering
A fork can reach both side of fins and corners. No poked fingers.
Nice! I'll take fresh fish over burger king any day!
McDonald's Filet-O-Fish for the win.
Where can one purchase a scaling fork at?
Serving fork. Steal one from your Grandman. They will always have one. LOL.
Steve how long did you leave it on the grill for?
4-5 minutes on each side.
Is there any good fishing in Stock Island?
Yup everything around there. Just a lot of boats to.
Does it taste good with some mangroves
I mean fish
New grill?!?
Traded a hooker and some cocaine for it.
Have you cook trouts in your c&c
We don't have trout down here. Up the Keys they occasionally they get them.
looks good man! Do you eat the head to?
The cheeks and the meat up on the top. Not quite full Zombie. LOL.
LOL!
Better than Dominos's Pizza right????
Doesn't have that bitter taste of defeat to it.
All your catch and cooks look good, but you never cut the head off, do you eat it?
The meat inside. The cheeks and the stuff up bu the head.
you catch and cook a lot of fish; i love watching these videos but are you not worried about ingesting too much mercury and heavy metals?
I don't worry about anything. Makes life a lot more liveable.
You ever snook fished??
Don't have many down here but have caught a few.
Ohh damn that sucks. They fight really good i love catching them.
You really should get a small roasting pan , that aluminum foil will kill you especially with that lemon you will be eating about 400mg of aluminum witch can lead to alzheimer's and memory lose. ps: no joking around look it up yourself O and love your channel keep up the great shit man
I shoot up a lot of Heroin so that will probably get me before the Aluminum. LOL.
Key West Kayak Fishing 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Everything there looks awesome except for the bell peppers, I hate bell peppers so much...
Potato salad masks the taste. LOL.
